Seven Doors was a very good dinner decision during my Plano trip! There were a lot of options to choose from that I didn't expect but I loved that they offered from the usual salads, burgers, steaks, to sushi, prime rib, etc. So it's a very diverse menu and should have something for everyone! We never felt like we were waiting long for anything or went a while without of waiter checking on us which is always a plus. He helped recommend a few good appetizers which we did get: burrata and a sushi roll! My espresso martini really hit the spot! Not too strong, but still that great taste I look for. I went with the short rib for dinner which was pretty good! I usually go for a safer option but thought I'd try something different and was overall pleased. The dessert was the real winner for me! Apple empanadas and ice cream were an A++!! Really loved all the nice lighting and open space in the restaurant. There's a lot of windows for natural light and air to flow in also.

We were originally headed to another restaurant where we had a reservation, but after struggling to find parking we ended up walking a bit farther and passed by Seven Doors. Their sign advertising a $20 steak and cocktail on Thursdays caught our attention and quickly changed our plans. We walked in around 6 PM and were seated immediately, which was a great start. We later learned that the Thursday steak actually rotates weekly. This was something mentioned in smaller print in the advertisement that we didn't initially notice. This week's version ended up being steak skewers rather than a traditional steak. To her credit, our waitress gave us a heads-up before ordering and mentioned that feedback had been mixed since some guests were expecting a larger cut of steak. While it wasn't exactly what we had envisioned, the dish was still tasty, solid, and reasonably priced. The old fashioned drink that came with it was also very good. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I really appreciated the transparency from our waitress. It definitely helped manage expectations and avoid surprises when the food arrived. Would still return and would be curious to try a different steak rotation next time. I'd probably just call in advance.

We originally planned to grab Thai food, but decided to stop in after seeing their $19.99 steak deal on Thursdays, which includes a steak, fries, and a drink. We were really excited based on the flyer. Just a heads-up that the steak changes weekly, so it didn't match the photo, our waitress let us know it was actually steak kabobs with beans and rice instead of steak and fries. We decided to try it anyway, and my friend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. Overall, it's a solid spot, and they also offer happy hour, which is a nice bonus. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive; however, we were unfortunately charged full price instead of receiving the $19.99 special and happy hour pricing. Still a good experience overall, but something to be aware of.

While visiting Dallas recently my coworkers and I popped into Seven Doors for their happy hour and had a great experience! The food was delicious, prices were good and service was friendly! The atmosphere is really nice and the surrounding area is so fun. This area is called "The Colony". No issues with parking.

We LOVE this place. We used to live nearby and stop in three or four times a month! We have since moved from that area. Monday was our Anniversary, and we were going to be in the area, so we added it to our HH evening. There weren't many customers yet; it was a little early, but this place has a wonderful ambiance and an incredible patio, seriously... TRY IT! We were warmly greeted and chose to sit at the bar (which has always been great!). We ordered from the HH menu ... (if you haven't been here... IT'S a MUST HAVE on your list!). We ordered a few appetizers (see pics), California Rolls, Korean Beef Tacos (the BEST we have ever had!), and Man Candy... IYKYK!! They brought out the Man Candy (which is a candied Bacon), which appeared almost uncooked... all four slices were fully drooped/bent over the glass and pretty pathetic! I asked the server what happened, it's always "tall" (or erect - lol) and better cooked. He gave me a terrible look... so I said, "Well, I won't eat that, can it be cooked a bit more (thinking there's no way they'll re-cook)? I have ordered this many, many times, and it NEVER looks like this". He took it and didn't say anything ... While all this was going on... the Bartender NEVER checked on us. She was clearly busy preparing for the evening--running around doing things. She had previously brought us two appetizer saucers and one Napkin/silverware--just dropped it--didn't say anything. My husband asked, "Did you already get silverware?" I said, "No, I will ask when she comes by.". Meanwhile, ... the food comes... we wait ... no bartender... no one! So, she (bartender) drifts by with a few rolls of silverware in her hand. I say, "Excuse me, may I have one of those?" She rudely says, "I was going to bring you one..." (Were we supposed to know that? - there was no communication!) The Korean Beef Tacos.... they are immediately visually appealing, so flavorful and delicious... don't skip these!! We ordered MORE (messed up our dinner--but it was worth it!)!! The California rolls were also delicious (always are!). They brought out the Man Candy... It looked much better, and I thanked him immediately. However, it was like RUBBER--difficult to cut... so gummy! They were clearly twice-cooked... and the result was not good! So - somewhere in there, she never returned, but there was now a man covering the bar. He got us another beverage, and we sat there... just us at the bar--no one checked to see if the food was ok. Every time we needed something (which wasn't often), we waited... and tried to catch someone's attention. We were so disappointed that we had to flag down someone for service EVERY TIME! We personally know this is not normal! No Manager in sight; or we would've shared. So - Here's the final feedback; If the bar is open, please make sure you are adequately staffed... even ONE Customer counts and should not be neglected! Communication... It's important! Don't deliver a dish unless it's properly prepared... You KNOW it's either coming back to the kitchen, or the customer eats it and decides never to order it again, or, worse, they never return to your establishment!! Typically - y'all are ***** (5-Star) Just not the best visit this time! It was the lowest point of our Anniversary--but it should never have happened! Have a lovely day!

We stopped by in December 2024 after hearing a few good things, but honestly, it was just okay. Nothing particularly memorable. The service and staff were wonderful: friendly, attentive, and welcoming . The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, but the overall vibe felt pretty standard. Nothing bad at all, just not the kind of place that stands out in a city full of great dining options. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was fine but didn't wow me. The potatoes, however, were the star of the meal: crispy, seasoned just right, and definitely the highlight of the plate. Funny enough, the most memorable part of our visit was stepping outside into the Christmas market afterward . That little festive touch added more to the experience than the meal itself. While it wasn't a bad restaurant by any means, it just didn't leave a lasting impression, and with so many great spots to explore, I don't think we'll be back.

Had lunch here with friends on a beautiful fall day. I will say that they should spruce up their patio seating to be more inviting. The tables are awful and were dirty. The way they are constructed it's hard to keep them clean. Suggestion is to look to Quartinos next door for some inspiration. Food was good, we had truffle fries, fried broccoli to start. And for lunch entrees Cesar Salad with blackened shrimp, arugula salad, Ahi Tuna Salad, and Avocado toast. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was attentive.

Purse hooks under the table!! LOVE this!!

I attended a private party that had a buffet line of pre-selected appetizers (nicely labeled) and then you could order the drinks of your choice. I'm not vegetarian but tried a couple of the items labeled vegetarian- such as the Burrata, which tasted like a fancy mozzarella dish (excellent!) and the crispy broccoli. They had man candy/aka bacon, tempura calamari, chicken tenders, and my very favorite: prime rib sliders!!! The servers were very attentive and great at taking orders and bringing drinks and picking up empty plates and glasses. I LOVE that they had purse hooks under the high tables. More restaurants should have these in my opinion. My only thought would be for more/better parking. They had $25 valet parking and that's just crazy!

    A. Happy Hour Apps are a steal B. Love, love the sangria and hubby loved their old fashioned with man candy C. NOTHING NOWHERE beats the French dip.

    Burrata

Service was above and beyond and drinks were amazing. I enjoyed the Burrata. The only reason this isn't a 5/5 for me is the serving size and prices weren't the best. Otherwise everything went great and lovely place for dinner.

    KBBQ Tacos

Seven Doors has carved out an interesting niche in the Dallas Frisco area for its new American style of cuisine. The environment has a unique vibe curating seven different types of doors that you can find throughout the restaurant. They have an amazing happy hour options. Their Fried Calamari comes with an in-house green Basil aioli sauce drizzle that is AMAZING!! (typical cocktail sauce is still offered). I suggest asking for an extra side of the basil aioli if you happen to be a fan! The rest of our foods were done well, a very good price point for what you're getting. The Korean BBQ tacos and burrata was a bit more lackluster. But it was our first time trying it. Parking is not an issue since its located within the mall plaza area. Service is very standard and quick pays. Once you've ordered your food, it generally comes out fairly quickly.

    chicken penne alla vodka
    Crystal T.

Seven Doors is convenient, but not exceptional. I've been here a few times and have yet to be impressed by any of their appetizers. In my most recent visit, the brussels sprouts were soaked in oil and the truffle fries exuded a strong artificial truffle scent and were flavorless and hard. I did enjoy the chicken penne alla vodka which had tender chicken and prosciutto, although the sauce was quite heavy. The service is attentive but pretty hands-off. The ambiance is eclectic, with a hodgepodge of various shapes of booths and chairs, not to mention the namesake seven doors arranged throughout. At night, though, it loses some of its eccentricity and reverts to a crowded bar vibe.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

Our server, Jayden, was the highlight of the evening even considering a very high bar set by the cocktails and food. He was friendly, efficient and just the right amount of care. He went out of his way to make sure our evening was a pleasant one. I found the cocktail and food prices to be very much in line! If I lived in Dallas I would be a regular there and would certainly ask to seated with Jayden every time!

Walk in via J Theodore, the ohone booth is to the left. It's a cool novelty calling with a book name to enter via the book shelf. Once inside the speak easy area there were two seating options. The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.
