The horses are always well taken care of and the facility is gorgeous. There are trainers for every level of riding that allow you to expand your knowledge and physical ability. If you're looking for a barn, I wouldn't recommend any place other than here.

The young owners are fabulous riders and enjoy showing. They also show affection, patience and love for their horses. No snobs. Just true equestrians. When boarders started to complain to this owner about the terrible quality of hay that was littered with briars and trash like coke cans and plastic bags, all this owner can do is yell and berate the staff as if they can control the quality of hay this owner will only buy from his "good ole boy" friends for a cheap price is just unacceptable. The wonderful man this owner had working for him cleaning stalls and doing handy work, was drug off the tractor and yelled at by this owner. You might be ok at this facility as long as you don't complain or expect anything from this owner. If you do, you've been warned.

In the most general of terms, Roger is the "horse person" and Jerry is the "dog person," but we both are involved in both sports to some extent. Roger has been extremely involved with horses since a very young age. He teaches lessons almost every day, takes students to shows, both local and "A" rated show, trains horses, breeds occasionally, and judges some local shows. Brownwood Farm also puts on eleven local, Georgia Hunter Jumper Association rated horse shows a year, as well as manages one benefit show for St David's Men's Club. She has a lot of patience and is positive and really understands kids like my daughter who have anxiety or ADHD or just need someone who understands. It's refreshing to have someone who is positive and caring and doesn't yell. The other trainers at the barn are equally amazing. It doesn't matter if you are 5 or 65, you will be treated with kindness and respect and learn so much! This barn is well maintained and the horses are well taken care of. They are always glad to see all the people. This barn is like a family. You should definitely come to be part of it!

I recently moved my horse to Jaid stables at the beginning of September. It has been an amazing month with top notch care and attention to my horse. They love her like their own and I never have to worry about not being able to make it to the barn some days because I know that she is getting top notch care. In addition to their 5 star boarding, the trainers are top notch! My horse receives training rides once a week and is already showing vast improvements on the flat and over fences. My weekly lessons are always engaging and present new but feasible challenges that help me grow and become a better rider. Although I am not showing at the moment all of their riders have demonstrated top placings at local and A rated shows. I can't wait to start competing with Jaid next season!
