Seven Hearts Coffee in Buffalo was exactly the cozy little gem I was hoping to find. Nestled inside a charming old building right next to a bookstore (which you absolutely should pop into while you're there), this spot had the perfect vibe from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Stopped in here to kill time before an appointment after seeing the high ratings, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to them. Most of my rating is based on the service. Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. The coffee and pasties are amazing! The service was also friendly, patient and quick. We had the chocolate croissant- perfect. Nicely browned, airy and crisp. Also an everything bagel with cream cheese, lots of cream cheese, warm and wrapped up well. More like a denser style bagel- not hard. Very good. I got chocolate in my Americano, the standard amount they put in was perfect. You can taste the chocolate and the coffee, not too sweet! Seating area is small and cute. Perfect for two people to sit and chat. Not good for a family or children. We did have our three year old and new born. We had never been here before and had already made our toddler wait to get a croissant so we had to make it work. If you know you know. But he is well behaved so it was fine. I would definitely stop here again if I didn't have kids with me or even to have a one on one date with my son. read more

Cuteness overload! This place is snuggled between the old Bennett high school and a new housing project- The Rails. I needed a change of scenery to get some work done and this place exceeded my expectations. Quaint with a tucked away sitting area that was perfect for my back to back meetings as they offered free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. Decor was bright and Instagramable. There's an equally cozy bookstore down the hall that adds value to the vibe along with a candle shop that did the same. Customer service was welcoming and prompt. I appreciate service with a smile. Secondly, I love a place where the staff can give suggestions when I give them an 'idea' of what I'd like to have and they deliver. Ordered a chai tea, with more chai than milk and their suggestion of a vanilla shot was delicious. Will definitely be back to explore the menu. 100% recommend. read more

Decided to try this place over the summer. Very cute place with some innovative drinks. They do have a seating area if you'd like to enjoy your drinks and pastries there. We got the Allie and the Coco Matcha. Forgot to take a picture but we also got the Sunshine Brew. The Allie was pretty delicious. I loved the Coco Matcha, especially as someone who loves coconut water. The Sunshine Brew was...interesting...not bad but not our favorite either. The price is a little higher than your typical coffee shop but I believe they make their own syrups so it's worth stopping by to try a new drink. read more

I'm a latte girly through and through and I have stumbled upon the most delicious vanilla latte of my life. It literally tastes like they use real vanilla beans for each cup. I've ordered a vanilla latte from Seven Hearts three times and each time it was exactly the same - PERFECTION. The baristas are always really friendly, and I've never had to wait long for my drink even if they are busy. They are kind, quick and consistent - what a win! Heads up, it is a little small inside, so you might have to do a little shuffling around, but it's totally worth it. They have a really extensive drink menu that's rotated seasonally, so I'll have to be sure to check out more flavors and styles of beverages. Cheers! read more

Love love love the coffee drinks here! They always have a board with seasonal specials and the three I've tried were excellent. Most recent winner: raspberry pistachio iced latte! I think they use a lighter roast espresso bean which in my opinion is a much nicer flavor balance than the more common super-dark roasts. Staff is always friendly. There is only a tiny amount of seating and really nowhere to wait for drinks - it is a tight space - but it's well worth dealing with that brief awkwardness. Bonus - around the corner down the hall is Read It & Eat Books, so you can pick up something inspirational and fun in addition to the amazing coffee. Parking has a trick to it. There are three spots just behind the building, and I think two parallel spots if you drive to the left past the three and around the corner. If all those are full, you can circle the block to use the same driveway and keep going straight past the three spots; I have had decent luck using the apartment complex parking lot in the back. It's a bit further to walk but I really love this coffee. The back door has zero signage but is unlocked if the building is open and it has a smooth ramp up to it (front door has a staircase to walk up), although it feels like the hallways are a bit tight so if you use a mobility device you may want to send someone ahead to confirm it's workable for that. read more

Amazing. This place is my favorite coffee shop in Buffalo, NY. I look forward to seeing what season specialty lattes they come up with every few months. I always get matcha here and it's delicious. When walk into the building, the ordering counter is right in front. There is available seating in room behind/in front counter. Staff was ready to take orders immediately. They were not too busy at first but seemed people coming in after me. Orders were filled quickly. Got the Lucy and it was delicious although I should have asked for it hot? Not sure if it's supposed to be iced or nobody asks anymore. Bagel with honey cinnamon cream cheese was decent. Don't have much to say about the bagel, standard, but honey cinnamon was great. Definitely not a flavor offered at other places. There were a few pastries available for purchase also. Close to a school so I'm sure get lots of business. Now for the parking situation is not ideal. I couldn't figure out how find parking next building that had limited spots. So I had park next door and walk a short distance. I finally got to try 7 hearts! I was very impressed with the coffee selections! Very unique flavor options. I got the banana latte! The texture of the coffee and the cold foam was very silky and velvety. Very creamy and soft texture. I do wish they made it sweeter because I had to add about 4 packs of sugar to actually bring out the banana flavor. The matcha latte with coconut water was the same. The flavor was also unbearable without sugar being added. The staff are all very hard working and pleasant to interact with. I wish they would extend their hours longer as the weekend people sleep in a little longer and would love to experience this cool cozy coffee experience! read more

I've been wanting to visit here since December and finally able to check it out last week... and went back again today. Really love it here. Cute, coffee spot with a cozy vibe. They have wide selections of coffee, house made syrups, and other drinks. Baked goods also availabe. Since the building is shared with other businesses, the seating area is limited, but there's also a spot to sit by the landing going to the 2nd floor. Friendly staffs and service were always been great. So far I tried iced tiramisu latte & iced caramel latte. My partner ordered Toasted hazelnut from their winter menu on both visits because he said it's so good. Coffee is always deliciously made. Few parking available on the side of the building, and more parking further in the back by the apartment. I met a friend for coffee and we wanted to try somewhere new. Seven Hearts Coffee looked cute and seemed to have a fun coffee menu - plus they serve Bread Hive bagels! We loved the coffee and the coffee menu. Lots of seasonal specials on the menu currently. I ended up getting "The Will" which was a cinnamon iced latte and a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese. Both of these were delicious and a cozy way to start my Sunday. However, I would recommend this cafe if you're planning on grabbing a coffee for the road as I found it hard to settle in with my friend and enjoy our coffee and bagels. The space itself was a bit odd. The seating area designated for the coffee shop was a very small room with only a few small round tables. The coffee shop was in the center of the first floor of an old house, with the rooms coming off of the core being different shops - a book store, a hair salon. It felt very crowded, and maybe like you didn't belong. Regardless, this place had great coffee and I will probably swing by if I'm in the area again! read more

I was able to try seven hearts cafe right before they closed on an impromptu trip up to Buffalo! I'm so glad I was able to make it because the latte I got was so cute! I got the Lucy which is a latte with mocha and ube cold foam. Although the latte was good, I have discovered that ube might not be my cup of tea (or coffee in this case). But my preferences do not regret how well crafted this latte was nor how amazing the other drinks looked. However, with it being closing time - I opted to only get one drink. (I shock myself sometimes at my self control). This cafe is located in the first floor of an office building (I think) next to a residential building. PARKING BEWARE - it's ROUGH getting a parking spot and the loop you park in is only one way (found that out the hard way). Buffalo city is also cracking down on parking and have been booting cars (again.... Found that out the hard way on Elmwood today). I recommend parking somewhere else and walking if you're not able to find a parking spot in the loop (the coffee is worth it - I promise). a very cute little coffee shop with a rather extensive menu for its size! they have the usual suspects when it comes to beverages at a cafe but also a nice variety of seasonal/special drinks. the baked goods offered, while limited, are SO DELICIOUS and from local bakers which counts for bonus points in my book. the atmosphere is bright and relaxing; nice spot to read, work, catch up with a friend. they also have a small selection of goods for sale like clothes and candles from local "makers". definitely worth a stop in! read more
