I received a gift certificate for Xmas. I am not a touch person so was apprehensive about having someone poke at my face but I had a gift card ! I had an awesome experience and can now happily say " I have a face girl !" . Booking is online and shows you all the diff options and you can easily book within moments. I chose a package but let Niki know to do what she thinks is best. And wow ! I don't know what magical potions she used but my skin looked soo good. She got rid of my dark spots, blackheads , and my skin was so soft and Dewey. In terms of the space it's a small spot in centerdale which is across from the town hall, and has plenty of street parking. When you walk in it is calm lighting and music and it smells so good ! I made my appointment and went and had a facial and used the sauna, Nicole the owner was amazing. I went in the sauna. She checked on me to see if I was ok, if I needed water.When I finish I went to the table bed, she explained everything she was going to do, from steaming my face, and different products she was using and what they were for. Prior to my visit with Nicole at Seven Layer Skin, I'd never treated myself to a facial so I don't have anything to compare it to, however; I was incredibly satisfied with my overall experience. I decided to purchase a deal through Groupon for a 45 minute facial at Seven Layer Skin and although it did take some time to get an appointment with Nicole, speaking via text with her was quick, easy and painless. I texted her the night before my appointment just to confirm and she responded with the address and parking instructions. The building is on Broad Street, which can be quite busy, especially at 5 o'clock during the work week, however; there is ample parking in the back of the building in a fenced parking lot (big bonus!) Upon arrival, Nicole greeted me right away and was so sweet and complimentary. She offered me an ice cold bottle of water while I filled out a form pertaining to my skin, allergies, etc. When she was ready for me to enter the room, she gave clear, concise instructions on what to do from there. I typically run hot and after rushing there after work, I was a bit sweaty, so she was very accommodating in trying to keep me cool. Again, not having anything to compare this facial to, I didn't know what to expect, but let me tell you... I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied. She was gentle, yet effective and moved swiftly and efficiently throughout the entire process. After all was said and done, I was so relaxed and refreshed, it was hard to peel myself off of her table. My skin was soft and glowing!
