This disc golf course is a mix of wide open fairways and tight tree filled driver areas. The first 6 holes are fully in the bush and tree lines, with hole 7 being a wide open shot. This hole is tricky with the basket right behind the a bush thicket. The course set up is a little funky. Meaning, depending on where you park, after hole 18 you're in for a walk. I would park in the lot that's at the very edge of hole 16 and walk over to the first hole. This way when you're done the car is right there. This park and course is beautiful with hole 15 having an awesome view of the Cumberland. Head up, bring a decent selection of discs for this course. You will definitely a few extra drivers and don't forget those mid range Bees!

Parking is plentiful but finding the first hole took some spins. There is a board with a sign showing all the holes. I recommend you take a picture of it so you can figure out where the next holes are. There was a place where scorecards were supposed to be but it was empty. I downloaded the UDisc app for free and it has this course with the scoring. The course is pretty straitforward, some of the baskets can be hard to see from the t box and you may need to move to see which location they are at. Some are elevated and nestled in woods. A few are next to fenced in areas which could pose a challenge for wayward throwers. Lots of up and down hill walking. Not terrible but if you have trouble in that space it's worth knowing. It's close to my house so I'll go back. After the first time through it will be much easier to navigate the second time.

I enjoyed spending the afternoon going through the course. We were the only ones there so it was very quiet and peaceful. It was also a good workout. The playground, dog park and ball fields were also empty. The playground is very small when compared to the other activities in the park and is tucked away in a secluded area.

There is a lot to like about this large park and it's one of my favorites. I'll break it down by…read morethe primary features. Trails: this is the primary reason I go to Crockett Park. I sometimes walk but mostly bike on the trails with a little one. They are relatively flat and because they are so long, they are rarely crowded. The trail users vary in age and there are plenty of blind curves, so it's not a place to go for fast biking. The scenery is varied and the majority of the trails are shaded. As a bonus, there are lots of places you can dip your feet in the Little Harpeth River. You can bike from Smith Park to the south to Tower Park north of Concord Road. The trails also connect to various neighborhoods, the Brentwood Library, and the Brentwood YMCA. Five stars. Playgrounds: there are several playground at Crockett Park/River Park. The main one near Woodland Middle School between baseball fields. It's large with a divided small kids and big kids section. Kids love it, and there are plenty of benches and tables for parents to sit or for a lunch break. Five stars. Frisbee golf course: 18 holes and, unlike many in the area, clear signage. Some holes are similar and a few are pretty short, but overall good course for a quick game. Four stars. Restrooms: these are all over the park. Some are closed part of the year, but for the most part they are open and reasonably clean for public restrooms. Four stars. Parking: You can park more places than I can count off the top of my head to start your walk, jog, bike ride or attend a sporting event. Amphitheatre: The Eddy Arnold Amphitheatre is great for summer concerts, of which there are many every year. Sports fields: I don't use them at this time, but they are very well maintained and there are a lot of football, soccer, and baseball fields. Parking: You can park more places than I can count off the top of my head to start your walk, jog, or bike ride. This is handy for days when the fields are crowded for soccer and/or football games, because you can avoid the traffic. Most lots are adjacent to a trail. Check it out for one or more of these features when you get a chance.

Two Rivers Park may be one of my favorite parks in the Nashville metro area! If you have ever…read moredriven on Briley near Opry Mills, then you have seen either the water park or pedestrian bridge, both of which are just a small part of what makes Two Rivers Park such a cool spot! The main draw of Two Rivers for me is the Greenway trails and of course the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Cumberland river and provides gorgeous views and a solid backdrop for a walk. The trails at Two Rivers are some of the most active in the city as at any given time of the day there are folks walking, blading, biking, jogging, etc...I spend most of my time when at the park on the greenway, it's well kept, well maintained, clean and peaceful. Outside of the trails, the park features a skate park, the water park, a golf course and a few other activity based areas. They also have a lot of public space and gazebos you can rent for parties and such. The park is huge, so you can access it from several areas from Briley, McGavock or Shelby Bottoms. The main entrance is just off of Briley, which is where I usually go, as parking is plentiful and it is a good start/stop point when hitting the greenway...plus the pedestrian bridge is right there! We hiked every trail except the Rocky Path, we enjoyed the scenery and wildlife. There are plenty of benches along the trails, we even saw a bathroom or two (porta potties though). The location next to the highway (especially on the Valley View trail) and other homes does detract from the experience some. We went on a Tuesday so there were only a few people there. If you want exercise without distraction I'd suggest heading to the park by 6:30 as it can get quite packed. I nearly lost a limb from a biker going max speed. Great par three disc golf course for beginners…read more This course is a full 18 holes and follows a pretty tight circle pattern, in fact you can pretty much see the parking lot from every tee box. The fairways are pretty tight in some spots and if I were you, I would play with a bright colored disc. If your shot goes into the wooded areas there's a good chance you could lose one of your discs. The course is very secluded, literally there's nothing around here. There are no bathrooms and just a small 8 spot parking lot. The neighborhoods down the street are quickly developing and pretty soon this place could be a very busy. So if you're looking to get in here before the crowds, now is the time!

Family brought us here while we were visiting in town. We had a blast, even though none of us had played before. My mom enjoyed it, too, and she's in her 70s, so this game can be enjoyed by anyone! The shade provided by the beautiful trees makes it feel like you're enjoying nature while you're getting in a bit of exercise & having some fun with family & friends. The course was easy to follow & we saw a few people who are really great at this game, but they were gracious to our large group & we also let the fast players pass our slow group. The course is well maintained & there are slight inclines and declines on the route. A fun activity for anyone to enjoy, at any skill level!
