I believe in ordering the relatively simple things because they can show problems with preparation. It was simple and delicious. Coffee was maintained hot and fresh at the self-serve. Seven Suns is a really quaint place to grab some delicious breakfast and coffee in town. I came here with a small group on Sunday morning. At 10am, there was a line out the door. Surprisingly, the line moved quick. We placed our orders and waited for a bit for our food. Most everyone in our group order coffee and one of the crepe options They have an assortment of savory and sweet crepes. The portion sizes are pretty big, probably equivalent to a decent sized omelet. I ordered the abenaki crepe, which contained turkey, bacon, cheddar with avocado and chipotle aioli. It was a great combination of ingredients for a crepe. Despite the limited seating, I would definitely come back and try some of the other crepe options. read more

I came here with a group of friends while visiting the area to grab a bite for lunch. The town itself was bustling so it was a bit hard to find a parking spot, but luckily everything seemed to be a quick walk. They have a fun menu, filled with savory and sweet crepes, as well as a bunch of egg sandwiches. I got the veggie egg sandwich and added an egg to it and the rest of the group got crepes. The crepes are HUGE! Definitely delicious and well made. The folks inside were all friendly and quick to turn out food, which was great because there was a line. Line moved quickly- we purchased 2 crepes one savory one sweet, smoothie and a coffee. Both crepes are huge. S'mores crepe was very sweet- unless you want the sugar rush I recommend doing what we did which is sharing and having the savory to break it up. Coffee excellent. So was smoothie. I was honestly really disappointed. My family has been going here every year in August for 7 years. The food and drinks have always been amazing. And the customer service was just wonderful! Personally, I like a mix and match crepe, fully loaded. The staff was previously always accommodating to individual preferences. We were heart broken that our family tradition was gone when we heard the previous owners were closing to expand in their coffee division. Which is why we were thrilled to hear new people were taking it over to keep it up and running! We went today (8-6-21) to visit for our yearly trip, and we're so disappointed. To start with, the crepes were too thick, soggy, and undercooked in the middle. When a member of our party asked to have her crepe made thinner, the woman behind the counter at the crepe maker, condescendingly said "in order for it to be a crepe, it already has to be thin, that's why we call them crepes", and pointed at the crepe cooking in front of her. Ordering from the girls at the counter was a bit confusing. They either have not been trained properly, or don't care for their jobs. I had to repeat that I just wanted a sausage patty and a fried egg to the girl at the POS system at least 4 times, and then twice to a coworker she asked for help. For a Crêperie, their menu has gotten a little off IMO. The crepe menu has gotten smaller, and the other items have gotten to be more. Items I used to get on my crepe, are no longer there. But they now have a larger abundance of non crepe items. I appreciate the expansion of the other menu items. I'm sure it's great for business, but taking away from the main focal point to me is counterintuitive. When I asked for a sausage patty and a fried egg (a breakfast sandwich with no cheese and no bread) the cashier told me there was no way to ring it up differently than the 6$ (already over priced) sandwich in their system. They use Toast POS for a sales system. I have worked with, set up, and managed using Toast POS before. It is incredibly easy to make a custom item and sale price. It is also incredibly easy to put a discount ($1.00, $2.00, 50% etc.) on orders. I'm not so much frustrated that they couldn't do it (like hey, I'm making the choice to order an item without all the components, that's on me) as I am that she lied to me. Just tell me you guys don't offer discounts when only ordering part of the menu item, don't lie to me about your POS system. We got the banana Nutella crepe, a custom crepe (with not very many fillings) and a breakfast sandwich (minus the bread and cheese) and it came to $40.00 before tip. Long story short, the food was mediocre compared to how it was previously, the prices were through the roof, and the customer service was horrendous. Don't get me wrong, I fully expected the place to change after they changed owners/managers (however they did it) but it changed for the worse from my experience, and the gem in Wolfeboro, is no longer a gem. It's a little disappointing. If just the food and price was the issue, but I got smiled at and treated like a valued customer supporting their small business, I'd be more apt to go back. But after the rudeness, short attitudes, and the condescending manner in which we were spoken to, I don't plan on going back soon. read more

I actually really enjoy this place when they are open, which is about 3or4 days per week. The crepes are very tasty, I like the sweet/savory ones like maple butter and bacon, I add bananas to that and it's just a wonderful snack. Additionally the drinks are very good. Iced Chai is the best in town, lattes are very good as well. The vibe is good but the playlist sometimes warrants an explanation. Overall it's good grub and drink if your lucky enough to be around on a day they are open. Lastly don't go for the roasted coffee. I bought some last year. It's color is that of rust. The coffee and crepes are very good. They have outdoor seating, but no table service. Order at the window and they bring it out to you. Coffee roasting is solid and you can really taste and smell that it's done in small batches. Come for the crepes and leave with a pound or two of beans. Crepes Oh La La had previously occupied this space a couple years ago. They offer a good variety of sweet and savory crepes, most $5-$9 tax included and add a scoop of Gifford's Ice Cream for $1.50. Fresh roasted coffee and loose leaf teas are offered here plus a line of hot and cold coffee, espresso, and tea drinks are offered as well as fruit smoothies. The place was fairly busy when I arrived here with owner working behind the counter solo. It took a few moments before he could take my order. I ordered a Butter Cinnamon Sugar Crepe ($5) with a scoop of coconut ice cream ($1.50) and a Large Dark Roast Coffee ($2.25). The crepe was made quickly and fresh to order and the coffee is self serve from the carafes. The owner was friendly and informative with a very similar positive attitude as my dentist in Portsmouth. The crepe I had was very good, sweet and buttery with a soft firm texture. The coconut ice cream added a nice touch to the sweet crepe. As they prepared for closing, they encouraged us to fill our to-go cups with the extra brewed decaf because they were only going to throw it away. Loved this place. Cute little cafe off the main road. Its very small and can get pretty packed. I love that they have juices and smoothies, as well as coffee and tea. They were featuring a Kale monster drink which was kale, oJ, avocado, Chia seeds and mango. It was incredible and they fill it to the brim. On our way out of town I also got a nutella banana strawberry crepe. They did not skimp on the nutella at all which was lovely. The whole thing was very filling. Great little spot! We've been a few times during our family vacations in Wolfeboro, and the food and service is reliably wonderful! The crepes are made to order quickly and with a smile. The coffee is cold and tasty, the cold brew is smooth and on the mild side in terms of roast and flavor, in a good way. The shop gets busy on the weekends and later in the morning, so best to try it earlier in the morning or on a weekday if possible. Lines can get long! The place is tucked away off the Main Street, has outdoor seating and sits opposite an old train stop. The cafe is kid friendly, with a high chair or two available, as well as a small box of Knick-knacks and toys along with children's books to keep the kids occupied for about 5 minutes (lets be honest here!) while you try to inhale your crepe before one of them spills their orange juice or needs a diaper change. Pro tip: if you're here with young kids, there is a small playground hidden behind the train depot - if it's past early summer (once the Wolfeboro Nursery school is out), you can escape the packed indoor seating and enjoy your coffee and crepes in (somewhat) peace while the little ones run around and play! Such a great addition to downtown Wolfeboro. I used to work at a business that was previously in this location, and we struggled to attract customers who were on Main Street. Because this sits on a corner right near the old train station, it can easily be missed if you don't venture down side streets! However, Seven Suns has clearly not had this same issue as there is often a line out the door- especially on those hot summer days. Let me tell you though... it is worth the wait. I often go in just for their wide variety of hot and iced drinks- but they do serve food as well. My go to is their iced coffee with caramel, and my dad swears by their pour over coffee! Their coffee is high quality and brewed to perfection. The interior is small, but they also have plenty seating outside as they're on a corner. Definitely recommend! Their prices may seem high, but their quality seems (to me) much higher than other locations selling coffee in the area. Overall great place with a great vibe! read more

I have been a long time customer of this place, so as incredibly disappointed when picking up take out last Thursday, the employee at the cash register and directly interacting with me and all other customers, was not wearing a mask in violation of the Governor's guidelines for reopening in this scary time of COVID-19. When I called and spoke to the manager the next day, he said they "encourage" employees to wear them, but do not require them. When I told him I would not be returning if the employees were not wearing masks to help protect customers, he didn't seem to care. Now I most certainly regret leaving generous tips up until last Friday to do my little part in helping them stay in business. Put my tip back in my pocket on Friday and sadly walked away.
