This place is decent; food is smaller in portions in my opinion and the taste is good overall especially with that famous maple syrup. The dessert crepes for sure takes the win in this place. Who doesn't love strawberry banana Nutella crepe? The service is a hybrid between self ordering and sitting. The facility is clean and very Vermont in terms of the wooden feel. There are out door seatings and if the weather was nicer and not cold, I would have preferred the outdoors When it comes to crepes, guess I'm a bit spoiled only because I had some thick fat ones for the same price back in my hometown and Vermont being a tourist central; probably could fatten these up to attract people better... nevertheless; descent if you're in the mood for a crepe

Great place!! Apparently it's a chain across NY VT & MA but it feels like a charming unique mom and pop breakfast place almost! The breakfast we got there tasted great and the prices are fair. We just happened to stumble upon this while driving to Quechee- so glad we did! They seat you and then you get your own water and order at the counter so it's easy and diy. Totally reccomend this spot

This is apparently a chain and boy you can't really tell when you go into one store for the first time. I'd have bet money the lady I talked to was the owner and that this was a small, family business. And that's a huge complement to how this operation runs. This is a fun little roadside modern cafe off Route 4 on the way to Woodstock or Killington area. The food is crepe-oriented but they do offer the basics of eggs and meat plus a nice breakfast sandwich (pictured). I'm starting to feel like saying "service was efficient and friendly" is redundant to saying "it's in Vermont" but the service was indeed efficient and very friendly. Toast-based QR-driven ordering at your table or go up front and order at the register and they'll bring you your food. The food was great, see picture of my breakfast sammy. In terms of feedback: the bar could use a footrail and it'd be great if they had some grab-and-go breakfast items for those passing by that could go with their grab-and-go coffee.

So good had to return to another location. Went with the chicken bacon rancher crepe this time which was incredible. Savory taste was perfect paired with the light salad on the side. Service friendly as always and the space was just as well-designed as the other location I've visited. Overall, great experience with delicious food

Really enjoyed this place. I lived in Quechee 20 years ago and wow has it changed... like the addition of this yummy crepe shop. The food was so yum and while a bit on the pricey side it was a nice stop on our visit to VT. Don't miss this one... but know there are coupons for it in tourist shops ;-)

What a lovely spot! Great atmosphere, cute vibes inside, adorable local merch, and good food/drinks! My girlfriend and I stopped for some breakfast after our day of snowboarding at Killington and this was so delightful! You order at the register and the food is brought out to you, the servers are attentive. You won't be sad you came to eat here.

The small side salad was tasty too!

Loved it! I had the chicken bacon rancher without the onions and my daughter had the apple and Brie crepe - we both loved them! Definitely will return next time I'm in or passing through Quechee!

Such a cute little spot we got to try for brunch today! The people are so welcoming here. The chai lattes are delicous and all natural tasting, nothing artificial. We all got a few dishes & everyone was very happy with them all! We got some eggs and sausage to start, delicous and yummy maple tasting sausage. I then had a savory crepe which Had pulled beef and cabbage and kimchi in it. It was delicous, would highly recommend it! I also tried some of my husbands pbb&b omelet, also delicous. Every one was very happy with their choices and I would come back for sure when back in Vermont!

Kristen, our waitress, was detailed and thorough in her descriptions of the menu items. Though this restaurant is pricey, their crepes are delicious. They have savory and sweet crepes that hit the spot. What stole the spotlight in my opinion was the hazelnut hot chocolate. It's a seasonal item and was perfect for the cold weather. I dream of tasting this hot chocolate again next December.

They were giving out gift bags with samples for 21yo+ customers. I also got drinks at the bar, which was extremely busy earlier in the evening and waits close to 10 minutes for drinks. Had the 1791 ($12 plus tax): Rye whiskey, Eden's Orleans herbal cider, raw honey, cranberries, club soda and the Lavender Haze ($6 plus tax): Lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, club soda. I enjoyed some live music by a great regional musician as I sip on my drinks. After I was done, I headed over to their other main building to enjoy some live bluegrass music.

I'm honestly shocked the reviews are so bad. While I wouldn't say this was the best "hotel meal"…read moreI've had, it also was far from the worst. We had a 7:00pm reservation and were seated in the middle of the restaurant. We ordered the parker house rolls, tuna carpaccio, and beet & apple salad to share/start. All three were great but I personally liked the rolls and carpaccio more. For mains, my sister got the cod, mom the oxtail, and myself the duck. I didn't try the cod. The oxtail was just okay, a bowl of pasta with meat. Mine appeared to be the most innovative of the 3 but even then was an odd combination of flavors. I had a glass of red wine (pinot noir) to go with my duck & it was passable at first but got pretty hard to finish near the end. At this point we were still hungry & I was yearning after the shishito peppers I saw earlier on the menu. I was so happy when it came out & appeared to be the crowd pleaser. Though not innovative, the flavors aligned just right. For dessert I had to get the profiteroles for the pumpkin element on a fall "leaf peeping" trip. These were unlike anything I've tried and so I definitely enjoyed these. Was definitely a highlight of the meal. Overall, not too bad but also not "elite". Given its Michelin key designation & the Chef's James Beard recognition, I'd expect much more. Additionally, service wasn't positive because it seemed like everyone had an attitude (not that it was lacking at all though).

It seems to be the same kitchen as the Red Rooster, but the quality is far below standard, and prices are exorbitant. The walnut-crusted trout. Fully coated fish filet that was over salted and burnt. It was like eating a salty fish cracker. Actually there was no fish taste whatsoever. Served on a bed of lentils and other veggies. The sauce was a complete mismatch with the salty fish stick. I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The chicken wings. Over fried. So hard they are inedible. There was a casserole with cheese and cauliflower. Decent, but ordinary. The only bright spot to our meals was the clam chowder was ok. After a day of snowmobiling you're pretty hungry and will eat just about anything. Sorry, but the quality at Richardson's Tavern left us hungry for more.

The hostess was incredibly personable and sweet. I'd had a crap day and really just wanted a beer. It was 5 minutes to close. I figured it wasn't going to happen, but I figured I'd look at their draft menu for the next day and get an idea of what I'd want to eat when I come back. Not only did they take great care of me and get me a MUCH needed beer, but when I came back to eat the next day it got even better! I couldn't decide which beer I wanted. The girl was SO nice and gave me half of each. Good call, because I definitely liked one more than the other! Now HERE is the BEST PART: the worthy burger. Sweet Jesus. I heard angels. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. Ever. The bun was perfect and THOSE PICKLES! The cheese was perfectly melted. Just the right amount of secret sauce. Did I mention the pickles were amazing? I also ordered truffle fries with Parmesan and a kid size order of the Mac and cheese. Because real cheese. They weren't bad. The truffle fries were on the milder side, but tasty. Maybe a little soft. Pro tip: get the pesto aoli to dip! I like homemade Mac and cheese and I hardly ate more than a few bites. I had heard great things but eh. Maybe I was just in love with the burger! I didn't get a picture.
