Have done rafting a few times out of the Inn of the Seventh Mountain while staying in Sunriver. We have always had a good experience, it a well run outfit and a bit cheaper than the ones run out of Sunriver. The rapids are not huge, but are fun. We took our kids when they were little and they loved it. Just took them as teens (and adults) and they still loved it. Would definitely recommend it for people who are new to rafting. It's a pretty short trip, but it's fun and beautiful. We had Duke as a guide today and he was great! read more

Came here with a family of 7 so we got our own boat but 1 person sat in the middle seat and didn't row. She didnt want to row so she was fine with that. The overall trip was fun but not the best I've done. We did a class 3 rapids and the beginning of the rapids was slow as in it took some time to get into the rapids. It was fine because our guide was nice and telling us about the surrounding lava rock. The guide was great at telling us what to do. He let people ride the bull and jump into the water if they wanted. I'm so glad we did this as a family activity. read more

We had the absolute BEST Kayaking & white water rafting experiences ever here!!! Came here with my parents & we're all elated with Otlyn, Brian, & Cam! On Monday, we went on an incredible kayaking excursion with Otlyn, the "Otter" & Brian. They were amazing! It was just us 3 adults with 2 guys & we got the total VIP service! Both guides are super personable, informative, funny, & helpful. Otlyn even got my mom paddle boarding for the 1st time! She was beaming! Then on Tuesday, experienced whitewater rafting. They offer a discount for rafting on Tuesdays. Otlyn even remembered our names from yesterday. These guides go above & beyond to make you feel welcomed here! We had Cam as our guide for whitewater rafting & he was excellent as well! He really gave clear cues for paddling, & as a school teacher, I really appreciated the guided instruction. So much fun on all of the rapids. We had such a blast both days! I think the guides really stand out here. They are what truly drive the level of fun we all had on our he water both days! I took my family ice skating and it was a great experience! The staff was friendly, and the activity was affordable and a ton of fun. Lots of places to sit and take a break to watch, easy to hang out on the side and hold on when you're a new ice skater, and the walker things help so much! The tree in the middle and all of the lights are beautiful. And we enjoyed the oldies music playing. Will definitely be back in the future! read more

Went White Water rafting down the Big Eddy just after Labor Day and it was the best time to go - so peaceful, not overly crowded, and just one of the coolest experiences to have! My girlfriend was incredibly frightened at first, but yet, towards the end, had so much fun that we even both bull-rode the front of the raft towards the latter portion of the excursion. Our guide was Scott (I believe that was his name, forgive me if not) was an absolute pro. Super positive, chill, and made sure we all had fun, and of course, were safe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone visiting Bend. This is right up there with all the waterfalls in Bend. You must do it! read more

We decided to take a last-minute rafting trip (literally the day before) on a 62-degree Sunday last weekend, and were surprised at just how fun (and COLD) it was! It's definitely a thrill, but not too scary for the entire family (maybe leave great granny at home for this one though). The guides were awesome (Ryan, Chuck & Will) and the bartender Jeff makes some real good drinks- Don't forget to grab a cocktail before AND after your rafting trip! Highly recommend this experience if you haven't done it already (we've only lived in Bend over half our lives and this was our first time)! read more

I've come here ice skating for years but this year was terrible. You pay the same price for less time and it looked like the ice hadn't been Zambonied in days. So many little kids and even adults were falling cause the ice was very choppy. We practically had to avoid a whole side and mostly skate small circles in the middle of an already small rink. Over all it's not worth $15 for an hour and twenty minutes on bad ice. read more

Until this trip I would have rated seventh mountain resort he five. I have been coming here for 18 years. This is my first time on the bottom floor. I checked in on Wednesday and Wednesday and Thursday were perfect. Friday night was a different story, including Saturday night then I was quiet again on Sunday night but absolute chaos again tonight, Monday night. I have never been on the bottom floor before and I hope I will never be again. The people above me are crazy noisy. And I feel like it got worse when I knocked on the ceiling at 9:30 PM. I am so unhappy right now. And it seems like all of a sudden got 10 o'clock and it stopped. Why would I have to listen to this chaos right up until 10 o'clock? I am just wondering why they would put a single person on the bottom floor below families with multiple people? And it starts up again right before 7 AM. Not really a happy vacation time. read more

We went rafting for my fiance's 40th birthday this weekend and had an amazing time! The staff at check-in was super friendly. The bus picked us up promptly and it was just a short ride to the river. Our guide was Luke and we had three other guides in nearby rafts. Luke was awesome. He was a great instructor and went over the safety information very clearly. He knew a ton about the wildlife and the scenery as we floated down the river. He told us what was coming up well in advance of the rapids so there were no surprises. We bought the disk of photos that a fifth guide took from the shore and they didn't disappoint. The price of the trip was super reasonable and start-to-finish, it was about 90 minutes. That was great because it still left us plenty of time for other birthday activities. We will be back on another 95° day! read more

Used Seventh Mountain River Rafting for a corporate outing while in Sunriver. With the exception of having a slightly difficult time finding the building to start the rafting journey, everything else was absolutely great. Our guide, Sebastian, was very personable and the journey was so much fun. Would highly recommend this to novice rafters. read more

7/21/14 First time rafting ever for me personally. Travis was our raft captain for this Deschutes River (& big Eddy) route. He was great with our small group (two parties of two) and made the ride fun and engaging. During this outing I got more than my feet wet in the sport of rafting. haha The rapids were great for beginners and left me wanting to go again and again.
