What a wonderful spa day. Theresa took such great care of…read moreme... I just love it when a massage therapist knows and gets you. This spa is so well appointed, the showers are fully equipped with everything as are the dressing areas, fluffy towels, and delicious vanilla tea, and fresh lemonade in the quiet room.... I called for two appointments when I was nine minutes away, and they did heave them but wouldn't hold the slots unless I read my credit card. I told the lady on the phone I was driving and could not read it and she simply said, "I'm sorry I have to have that to hold the reservations." I couldnt read it while driving and I was nine minutes away so felt pretty unreasonable. Check-in was ok and they were nice but when I told them about my interaction they didn't acknowledge it at all. Simply said. "Do you want the reservations?" No acknowledgement, no apology. My boyfriend's therapist was excellent, five stars, and he felt better. They come to the quiet room at 4:22 pm for my 4:15 appt. My session started at about 4:25 and ended at 5:"8pm... not the full 50 minutes promised. My therapists Cranial scalp work was excellent, but the rest was generic and rushed. She didn't even know what type of massage I was getting. When I cashed out I found out the price was $180. I though maybe $140-ish as it is nice. At 180 dollars, call it a premium spa all you want, but one great massage and one average one isn't value. Decent amenities don't make up that gap. I can't justify the price, and I won't be going back. There are better massages with much more caring people. Use them. Update. Garrett reached out to me and we had a good conversion. I appreciated his effort and his sincere effort.

I went for brows and lashes with Bailey and loved it so much, that I've been back multiple times. AND I liked it so much, that I started coming here for my Botox touch ups too with Savannah. I've tried so many of their services Botox, NAD+ shots, B12 injections, peptides, red light therapy, laser hair removal and their facials Every single treatment has been incredible. They really offer everything you could want in a modern wellness and aesthetics spa. My husband has also been going for hair treatments (Pico/microneedling), and we've both done Accufit for abs, arms, and glutes (which has been amazing.) and recently just did a couple of rounds of XERF... OMG!! What a game changer!! INSTANT RESULTS AND NO DOWN TIME, NONE. It's honestly one of those places where you start with one treatment and then realize they offer so many advanced options. What truly makes this place special is the owner and the team. She is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and never pushy. She genuinely wants what's best for her clients, which is rare and so refreshing. Everyone who works there is warm, professional, and welcoming, and you always feel taken care of. Five stars across the board. If you're looking for a place that combines cutting-edge treatments with a beautiful atmosphere and an amazing team, this is it.

I visited Zen Tara Massage last week while working in the area. I had been passing by all week and…read moredecided to stop in without researching the business beforehand. Pricing was standard for Orange County. I requested a deep tissue massage and reiterated that request a few times during the session, but the pressure remained quite light throughout and didn't match what I typically expect from deep tissue work. Overall cleanliness was mixed. The massage room itself appeared clean, but the sheets on the table had visible marks on them, and the bathroom was noticeably dirty around the toilet, sink, and floor. I asked for fresh sheets because it didn't appear they had been changed, but the therapist told me they were clean. Since I didn't want to spend time going back and forth, I accepted that explanation and continued with the session. Near the end of the massage, the therapist asked if I wanted additional services beyond the massage. I declined. After that, the session ended very quickly, and I was escorted out. I paid for a 30-minute massage but received closer to 18 minutes, which was disappointing. Afterward, I looked up the business online and realized it did not align with what I expected from a traditional massage establishment. Additionally, the images used in advertisements did not appear to match the staff or environment I encountered during my visit. Based on my experience, I would recommend doing some research before booking to make sure this place aligns with what you're looking for.

I thought we…read morewould have to wait a long while, but the receptionist (Holly) checked us in immediately, and upgraded our room. She was friendly, professional, helpful, and accommodating. She explained all the hotel's amenities. In addition to the room charge, a $40 resort fee got us: 1. On-site parking; 2. Welcome sangrias; 3. Chocolate chip cookies each night; 4. A European styled breakfast each morning from 7am to 10am; 5. Wi-fi; 6. Beach chairs and umbrellas. Parking in Laguna Beach is a premium, so parking at the resort was great. The city of Laguna offers a free shuttle with a bus stop almost in front of the hotel. So we parked our car and took the shuttle all over town. The property is a well maintained, quant renovated 26 room Italian style resort. It's clean, charming, and has lots of character. It felt nice being at a small property and not at a large commercial hotel. We felt like we were back in Italy on vacation again! Just walking past the front of the hotel, you would not know that there is a luxury resort inside. They have a heated swimming pool (83 degrees), a sauna, and a secluded sun bathing lounge area and several other amenities. We opted for the heated wellness treatment which is a jacuzzi hot tub for two with mineral water. But they also offer single and couples messages and other message therapies. They have a quant internal courtyard for dining as well. We enjoyed a great European breakfast each day which was well prepared, fresh, healthy, and served by great hostesses. We especially liked the frittatas, fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, and iced cold lemon water. The property is a historic landmark, so it doesn't offer handicap accessibility. So if you or someone in your group is in a wheel chair or uses a walker then this property won't work for you. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely go back again.

The service was excellent and can see that staff takes great care and attention to making sure everything is taken care of. We very much appreciated all the amenities this inn had to offer such as the welcome drink, evening cookies (delicious!), sauna, sunblock at the pool, towels, lovely breakfast.. all complimentary (breakfast with resort fee). We also appreciated the 10% military discount. We stayed in room 23 which was a standard queen bed with garden view and liked that spot because it felt central, private, and quiet. The room is on the smaller side but it was fine. It does not have a fridge but they provide an ice bucket. We ended up putting our bottled waters on top of the AC box and that kept it cool. Being that the inn is beautifully historic, there weren't many outlets inside the room. The bath robes were very plush. Both lamp shade knobs didn't seem to turn properly but we made it work somehow. Otherwise, we felt well taken care of throughout our stay and so glad we came. Aside from the inn, there is a walk to get to Victoria Beach. We walked south along Coast Highway to Victoria Place and found the underpass from there. We also took the free trolley outside of the hotel to get around town. It could be quite a wait for the trolley as we waited 30 mins. There is a QR code on the sign to track the trolley locations.

It was such a huge disappointment and painful and uncomfortable I kept waiting for it to be over. First, she doused my entire back with oil, it was so much it dripped everywhere and she didn't even ask for what kind of pressure I wanted. She massaged my back with her forearm, not her hands, with short, super fast strokes. How is that relaxing?? Her pressure with either too soft or too hard, never just right. I had to give her feedback every 5 minutes which was annoying. And she massaged near my armpits and it kept tickling me, I told her to avoid it but she kept doing it anyway. Halfway through the massage, I gave up on giving her feedback as I could not relax. When I told her to please massage my feet as I'm standing a lot, she massaged the top of my feet the whole time, instead of the bottom which was stupid and painful. I told her to not massage my thighs or hips and she did anyway. She massaged a lot of the bony parts instead of muscle. I'm really upset I spent so much money feeling more tense than I did before I came here. I don't understand how people thinks Lucy is a good masseuse.
