My review was based on my personal experience, and the refund request was for a separate canceled appointment. I expected the refund to be handled independently of any feedback I had left. I just sent a dispute to my bank regarding this charge. This merchant has a lot to improve on customer service experience. My first visit was odd, I came a little early to find out that the service room and the waiting room was only divided by curtains, no privacy what so ever. I walked in and I had to walk around to the other side of the curtains to get to the wax table (I could've just walked through the curtains where she greeted me by the door) anyways I get undress and she stands there and just stares at me.. super awkward and uncomfortable, she doesn't ask me anything but goes straight into waxing. I tried to break the awkwardness and asked how long she had been waxing for, she tells me 20 years... (not a soul in me believes that) Let me tell you, Susanne has no mercy for pain. She does reuse the strips after applying very little wax on you. Not to MENTION she went over the used wax paper OVER my clitoris!! It was sooo painful. When she was finished she asked if I wanted to TIP her!! Are you kidding me. She was horrible!! I walked out very uncomfortable, wax all on my inner thighs and areas on my private part! I think to myself, gosh I have 2 more services with this lady. The second time comes around same experience but this time left me with soooo much ingrown hairs.. thought it was normal. Goes back to my third session and she had missed soooooo many patches of hair. How could you even miss that!! I was annoyed I had to go back to the hell hole to get this fixed. I had booked a hydration facial for dehydrated skin. I didn't realize that this spa is more holistic in the sense that Yaz doesn't do extractions/use tools on your face besides strictly products. She had just moved so she was awaiting a package from the postman to hopefully arrive before we got started - so we started a little later than normal, which was fine. She ended up putting steam on my face for what felt like forever, but the steam blast was so strong and all of it was going up my nose & making it hard to breathe. She also did an oxygen exfoliating scrub that ended up getting inside my ears (and I left the spa still with this scrub inside my ears that I had to clean out). After my facial she told me that the products she used on my face were what I needed. She ended up recommending like, 7 or 9 different products that ended up costing $900. I felt like she didn't really give me an option of backing out or picking and choosing which products I REALLY needed, she kept saying "you'll use this and it will be so so good for your skin". I mean my skin did look good after. But a esthetician I went to afterwards said I was using too many actives in my products (that I bought from Yaz) and causing inflammation.
