    Tiramisu.
    Amy R.

Stopped in on a normal summer Monday afternoon. Ordered a Club on toasted sourdough with potato soup and a piece of tiramisu. The sandwich was very good! The tiramisu was still frozen as she had just got it out for display. But it was very refreshing on a warm day, like an iced coffee dessert. I will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu

If you are looking for outstanding homemade food, this is the place to go. They make outstanding breakfasts, and the lunches are out of this world. I have tried the majority of the sandwiches, and they are all outstanding. The Challah and sourdough breads are made and baked at the location. Make sure to pick one for your sandwich. The deserts are top notch, and the homemade soups are some of the best I have ever had. Owner, Brennen, is one of the nicest people you will meet and completes the experience. Stop on and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And make sure you look for the tiny hobbit door near the entrance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Challah French toast--so good!

I've been here a few times since the management has changed. The ambience is pretty much the same and the food quality is high. The menu has changed a little but still has some of the original favorites. It might seem a little pricey at first, but expenses are high everywhere. And to have fresh made, good tasting, real food made for me and I didn't have to clean up the mess is a real treat. I can't afford to eat out all the time but the strawberry & banana topped French toast was a nice luxury on a morning I wanted to celebrate. (With toppings, $13) It was very yummy.

This is hands down my favorite place to eat in town! The breakfast is delicious and the home made sandwiches are amazing. They make their own challah and sourdough bread at the restaurant and they are both fantastic! If you are downtown, go here! Try a crepe or get some Challah bread!!

Amazing breakfast and lunch in a quaint little diner in the Felix Street Square. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Parade of Hearts brought us into St Joe. We were hungry and saw the reviews. We love places like…read morethis...what could go wrong?!?!? Well let me start off with the fact they are over an hour away from our home. Considering they have ruined us on any and all other burger and fries, it might become a habit. Husband had the Blackberry Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger. I do not on the norm like blackberries, but on this!!!! The blackberries sweetness stands against the strong overpowering blue cheese and they meld well to make a wonderful tasting combo. I ordered There Goes My Gryo.....how did they get a freaking lamb burger, a very lean meat be that juicy!?!? I dont know but with the peppers, tomato and onion made a fresh hamburger, might be good with some kalamata olive....but I am not complaining. It was delicious. I am picky on my fries and usually dont eat the full amount restaurants serve. I had to stop myself. They are more like a shoestring but not hard or crunchy. Seasoned wonderfully! My suggestion you go in there with a big appetite, grab lots of napkins and be ready to devour the best burger you've ever had!

We also got soda floats which they serve ice cream and soda separately. We got to enjoy cold soda and kids enjoyed vanilla ice cream. Overall great service and ambiance. Just need to go early to get seating since pretty limited.

Xavier is THE MAN!…read more My first time in this part of Missouri and I found this absolute gem of a worker/Manager/ chef/ dynamo/ non stop happy smiling human being who made me the best rice bowls two days in a row. Loads of Love! There are ingredients and pictures on a photo menu board that look good. When they are made right in front of you, 4 feet away on the other side of the glass with class and care with Xavier checking with you " You said well done right? You stated extra black beans - some more?" Then he generously pours the Sweet Asian dressing and bbq sauce on top of that shrimp bowl masterpiece ( video ) Really flavorful and perfect black beans. Really tender and tasty rice. The end result - a magnificent mmmmmmm great finger licking good classic that left me speechless. I love the menu options - salads, wraps, rice bowls. Love the build your own with very nice options - the peppers, jalapeños, onions, banana peppers and mushrooms were my fav and go to hot veggie grilled items. . The Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, nachos and burritos are on my Monday to Wednesday must have menu. Loved the soda options at the fountain - Dr Pepper, sugar free Root beer and Pepsi Zero. Loved the simple interior. Loved the self help counter with plasticware, napkins, straws and ketchup and condiments. Love PepperJax Grill and the stellar Xavier.
