We first worked with Tim in March 2025 for our maternity shoot, and it was such a great experience that we booked him again in February 2026. In 2025 it was just the three of us, my wife, our 4 year old daughter, and me, with our baby boy still in my wife's belly. This year it was so special to come back with our son, now 9 months old and work with Tim again. He is not only a very talented photographer, but also incredibly detailed and professional. First - I had a special photo of my son and I (from when he was 4) that I was hoping to recreate on his wedding day. Anna actually brought the photo on the day and they took so many photos, and were so painstaking to even get the hand and body positions perfect. I will cherish the photo that they created! On the day - the team showed up well before our event, and they even mounted flashes up high, around the space (inconspicuously), so there would be enough light at our outdoor venue. They took pictures of everything - the layout, the flowers, and then they captured everyone's expressions as they arrived, and all of the laughter and love during the evening. We have received over a thousand photos, and I have no idea how we will choose - they are all stunning. Throughout the process, Anna was quick to set up Zoom calls (we were off-island and in another time zone!), and quick to respond to emails personally and promptly. My husband and I decided to go to Maui for our babymoon and to have our maternity photos taken…read morethere. I was deciding whether to use OhWowFotos and Raw Media after receiving estimates through Yelp. Ultimately, I ended up going with Raw Media for two reasons: 1) their package was $70 cheaper and 2) they said the photos would be ready within 48 hours whereas OhWowFotos said 2-5 days. Both sounded great, especially because my baby shower was planned for 12 days after the photoshoot. After putting down the down payment for the shoot, I reached out to Gary to ask for a location for the shoot. I hadn't heard back. A day before the shoot, I messaged again to confirm the shoot was happening and to ask for the location, still no response. On the day of the shoot, I called Gary and he apologized and said that he was busy with a wedding but would drop the location for the shoot. An hour before the shoot, I hadn't gotten the location so I messaged and called. 15 minutes before the shoot, Gary sends the location. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed working with the photographer. I believe his name was Travis. He was kind and helpful. We don't usually take photos and didn't know how to pose. Huge props to travis! After the shoot, travis said we would be receiving the photos in a couple days (like Gary said on Yelp). I reached out a week later after not receiving the photos and a few times after that because I hadn't gotten a response. On the Thursday before my baby shower, Gary said the photos would be ready that night. They were not so I asked for an update the following morning, no response. The photos were finally made available 5 days after my baby shower (17 days after the shoot). Normally, I'd think photos take a long time to edit and this turnaround time wouldn't have bothered me. But, I think the broken promises that they'd be ready before my baby shower + the inconsistent communication really irked me.

From contacting him, responses, scheduling, communication in between, the actual shoot, everything went smoothly, even my ever-so-pessimistic husband was having fun. My rambunctious sons were even cooperating (but also bc I threatened them beforehand). We had a good time doing this, from warming up to posing according to Gary's instructions. It was a windy day and Gary was so helpful with getting our hair to cooperate. We appreciated Gary's friendly demeanor and his ability to direct us for pictures.
