I don't even know where to start with how fantastic it was working with Napili Studios for our Maui beach elopement! My husband and I had never been to Hawaii and were unsure with how it would be planning a wedding somewhere we've never been. After some research, it's was crystal clear that Napili Studios was the best choice for us . This was based on reviews and the photos posted within reviews simply spoke for themselves of the quality provided by Napili Studios! We reached out via email and heard back almost immediately from Christine, who wears many hats. Christine set up a time for a call and went over our options and described areas to us. She sent a very thorough email with links to help us decide what was best for us and within an hour, we were ready to book! The responsiveness and customer care we received every step of the way from Christine was nothing short of absolutely flawless! Other businesses could really take some notes from this stand-out company on how to treat their customers! Within just a few days, we had all the details nailed down. Initially, the thought of booking a wedding many states away was so stressful and held many unknowns, but it honestly couldn't have been any easier or more stress-free! Weeks before our wedding, the tragic fires in Maui happened. The area we were supposed to have our ceremony in was closed off due to damages. Christine reached back out and gave us a ready list of options to pivot to. Once again, this should've been extremely stressful to pivot just weeks before the big day, but Christine had it completely handled and it was a piece of cake! Our wedding day was picture perfect! Napili Studios didn't skip a beat. All the details of our day were perfect from our leis and flowers, to my hair and makeup done by the lovely Jen Castelo, to our sweet officiant Joe! It was wonderful meeting Isa, the owner/photographer and our photo shoots went off without a hitch! Upon meeting Isa, I knew our photos would be stunning. He communicated well and was fun to work with! Hands down, if you're planning an elopement in Maui, don't hesitate! The island is open and we had the very best time! I highly recommend Napili Events! Christine was so lovely, helpful, and organized. We spoke on the phone one time before deciding to go with Napili and she was so patient with all of our questions and really put us at ease. She helped walk me through all the steps to set up our appointment with the marriage agent. And we absolutely loved our officiant (Euta) and wedding photographer (Isa) too! Everyone was so kind and friendly. They really made us feel so at ease and able to really enjoy the special moment. The photographer and his assistant were so kind and took a few extra photos on my iPhone so that we could share a few with family back home since we eloped. The elopement package photos had no photos of the bride and groom facing the camera. All photos were from the side or back, or kissing, never actually seeing the bride's dress in full length. While some shots were creative, you still should get some traditional poses. There is no going back for a re-take, so wedding photos were extremely dissapointing. read more

I am typically never the type to leave or write reviews, b/c everyone has their own opinion and experience, right? Well, I can truly say, Napili was the BEST experience from start to finish that I had when planning my elopement and if anyone is considering eloping/having a photo session/online ceremony, GO WITH NAPILI. Ok that's the jist, here's the details: My fiance and I had decided we wanted to have a personal ceremony just the two of us in Hawaii, but wanted the option to video stream the service back to our family. Napili was among a few vendors we reached out for a quote, not only was the response prompt but Jessica from Napili was the only one who took the time to both email and follow up with a call-something that I appreciated. From the first conversation, I knew that Jessica, and Isa were amazing humans and consummate professionals so I felt very taken care of. The way they operate is incredible transparent and efficient. We were able to choose a package with everything we wanted and in our budget, swapping out different items (for example, we didn't want an extra number of photo locations, but wanted a live stream and florals) to get what we wanted. Napili takes care of everything! Seriously, I think we paid online, showed up, and had a couple of calls and that was it. If you're someone who wants to be more involved, Jessica was incredibly responsive via texts and calls (impressive given its peak busy wedding season and there's also the time difference) but for us, it was wonderful to have very little logistical details to worry about like filing for beach permits and searching for the best local wedding performer (two things that are required for all Maui weddings). They have such a knowledge of the island-from location to vendors to weather, it was easy to trust them (and quite honestly, a luxury). On the actual wedding day, Isa and Jessica (remember, first time meeting in person) were just as amazing as they had been on the phone. They met us after sending the best directions to get to them. They were flexible with our running a few minutes late, and went with the flow with the light rain (which really added to the ambiance of the day). My (now) husband and I felt completely ourselves: comfortable, relaxed, joyous, and silly during photos. The ceremony: OH MY GOSH CAN I GUSH AT HOW BEAUTIFUL? They timed it out perfectly to have the best and most beautiful spot on Ironwoods Cliffs in Kapalua, Maui and so in the ceremony, the photos, and live stream you could see the sun setting, the waves crashing, my dress blowing in the wind. We felt like the star characters on the cover art of a romance novel! The officiant they picked for us was amazing, Joe Miles, I mean I think the feedback we got from everyone who watched the livestream was 1) the entire thing was so beautiful it looked (but wasn't) fake! and 2) Joe was wonderful. He made our ceremony so perfectly us, including Hawaiian leis, spiritual vows, a shout out to our family (and dog!) at home, and the breaking of the glass. Afterwards, we got one raw photo to share which was STUNNING. I can't wait to get the rest of the images, and we've rewatched the replay of the live feed about a dozen times. We did not have a good experience with Napili Events. Unfortunately, due to the devastation and destruction of Lahaina, we could no longer have our dream wedding in Maui. The wedding was scheduled 3 months post destruction. We no longer had a place to stay, and our entire trip had to be canceled. Expedia, Delta Airlines, and even the Maui Clerk's Office for the marriage license (who also had a no refund policy) all gave us refunds. They knew the situation was obviously out of our control. The Napili Events owner took a shocking position. She explained, " she is a small business owner and offered to not charge us to change our wedding date or move to the other side of the island" (which is twice as expensive by the way). I am also a small business owner with a 5 day cancellation policy. I can't imagine if something happened to prevent me from providing that service (at the time and place requested) attempting to keep a down payment fee. I wouldn't feel right. I certainly wouldn't offer my client to change their date for their service or suggest to stay somewhere twice as expensive. There is No Way she could possibly justify keeping my deposit based on "the amount of work they've already done for my wedding." She didn't even offer a partial refund. I am sorry they are a small business who is losing money due to the devastation in Maui, however that does not justify stealing from a client. read more
