First - I had a special photo of my son and I (from when he was 4) that I was hoping to recreate on his wedding day. Anna actually brought the photo on the day and they took so many photos, and were so painstaking to even get the hand and body positions perfect. I will cherish the photo that they created! On the day - the team showed up well before our event, and they even mounted flashes up high, around the space (inconspicuously), so there would be enough light at our outdoor venue. They took pictures of everything - the layout, the flowers, and then they captured everyone's expressions as they arrived, and all of the laughter and love during the evening. We have received over a thousand photos, and I have no idea how we will choose - they are all stunning. Throughout the process, Anna was quick to set up Zoom calls (we were off-island and in another time zone!), and quick to respond to emails personally and promptly. She was warm and personable throughout, just a truly kind person to work with. Her team members are all very kind, energetic (!) and eager to do whatever is requested. I wish we could hire Anna and her team for all our events!

She immediately put us at ease and made the entire experience feel effortless, natural, and genuinely joyful. Eloping can feel intimate and emotional, and she struck the perfect balance of being calming, professional, and wonderfully warm--never intrusive, but always exactly where she needed to be. Her eye for light, scenery, and candid moments is exceptional. She captured not just beautiful images, but the feeling of the day--the love, the excitement, the quiet moments, and the magic of Lānaʻi itself. Every photo feels authentic and timeless, not staged or forced. Beyond her talent, she was organized, responsive, and such a pleasure to work with. We felt completely confident trusting her with one of the most important days of our lives--and she exceeded every expectation. If you are considering her for an elopement or wedding, don't hesitate. She is truly exceptional, and we will treasure these photos forever.

We were lucky enough to get a sunset slot on a busy holiday weekend just booking a few days in advance, but would recommend booking a few weeks out if you can. Adam was our photographer and we appreciated his laid back and easygoing nature and his ability to coax out some smiles from our toddler who hates posing for photos. I rented the Kasia Kulenty Selena gown in sand as well as brought my own dress, and was able to easily do an outfit change at the beach. It was nice to have a rental gown for photos in the water since you didn't have to worry about it getting wet / sandy. We opted for the Sand & Seashells package (30 mins for a family of 3 was enough time to get in family pics, pics of my toddler, as well as solo maternity pics) and we also had limited time due to the sun setting. We were thrilled with our preview photo which came the next day, as well as the rest of the gallery which was ready 3 weeks after. Love & Water did an amazing job editing the sand to get the look that we wanted and just let the gorgeous, natural colors of the sunset shine through. We opted to upgrade the entire gallery for $150 additional and will cherish those photos for a lifetime!

The communication was also excellent--they responded quickly whenever I had questions or concerns. When I received my photos, I wasn't completely happy with all of them. Some of the angles were a little awkward, and I felt several photos needed additional retouching. I reached out to them, and they were very responsive. They happily retouched the photos I requested and even upgraded my photo package, which I really appreciated. Their willingness to make things right showed that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. While I'd rate the photos themselves around 4 stars, I'd give their customer service 4.5 to 5 stars. Because they listened to my feedback, responded promptly, and worked with me to improve the final product, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and friendly photography experience in Maui.
