Severt's has been a Christmas go-to for us for a few years now. Excellent trees at reasonable prices, great service, and just a fantastic Christmas experience. They feature trees of different heights and price point, stands if needed and when you buy, they wrap it, cut the bottom and even drill a hole in it so it stays fresh longer. They'll even carry it to your car for you. With the exception of cutting down a tree yourself, this is perhaps the best experience you and your family could have buying a tree. We went to the San Marco location this year and brought our "return customer" coupon for 10% off. Our tree from last year was really fresh and lasted longer than other trees we have purchased in previous years. It was an easy decision to return to this business with locations all over the area. The set-up at the lot is great, the larger trees are outside the tented area, along with places for picture spots. The trees are all standing, using their spike system so you can see all sides of the trees with the branches fallen normally. They have a great selection of trees, all sizes and shaped beautifully. We have been buying our Christmas Tree from Severt's for many years now and have never been disappointed! We buy ours at the Atlantic Blvd. location in Jax, FL and the service is always amazing and friendly. Yes, they cost a little more than Lowe's or Home Depot but the trees are opened up so we can see them, which provides a much better shopping experience. This year we got the prettiest tree we have ever had! The people that work there are very friendly and genuinely seem to care about us. I will always go to Severts! read more

26 minutes ago I'm disappointed this year. This is our 3rd year in a row buying a tree from Severt. We picked a beautiful tree stood it up in water immediately and it's not drinking water. My husband went back 3 days later and they told him to put a solution in the water. Still nothing. The pine needles are already falling off. He took the tree back on the 4th day to ask for an exchange which the refused. Now we have a $190 matchstick at home. I'm very upset. Like the other reviewer I saw one of the managers changing a price from $175 to 190 on a tree. We should have left then too. I'm going to a prelit fake tree after this experience. I'd rather pay more one time and have a tree for many years than be ripped off. read more

We have purchased our tree from the Jacksonville location at Atlantic and Kernan 3 years in a row. All staff are courteous and helpful. Prices are reasonable compared to other tree sellers. We greatly appreciated their assistance with preparing the trunk and netting it for us. The trees hold up for the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas. read more

Always got my tree from Severts, and although this year the price was high it's a small token compared to the look on my wife's face when get there and they pull the tree we picked , Severts always goes above and beyond and everyone on the tree lot is always super kind, helpful and friendly. My family and I have purchased Christmas trees from Severt's for years. This year they more than doubled in price (from $173 for 2 trees last year to $450 for 2 this year). I understand prices are inflated this year, and while I get it, I chose to shop elsewhere that wasn't 2+. Everything I have read indicates an average increase of 20% on trees which means my usual $75 tree would have been $90. They were charging $185! I commented on Severt's page inquiring about it, and the business reported me to Facebook for hate speech. I have NEVER, in 11 years, been reported for anything. WOW! What does that say about a business? I would've probably given them another chance in the future, but not now. Look on their FB page. They report every comment that isn't glowing (EX: it says 21 comments, but you only see 2 which means they reported 19 comments). Shame on Severt's. Santa is watching you. read more

This Christmas tree farm was a disappointment as the trees were not in good shape even though I was told that the trees were relatively fresh. They were not shaped and not fresh. The tree that I chose seemed to be one of the better ones, and was given a 10% discount of the initial cost of $50.00. Right away, upset upon placing it in the holder a great volume of needles trailed the floor. The next day I checked water supply, i noted that the tree had not consumed any water. I waited an extra day to start decorating as many of the branches still had not laid down. The next day there were so many needles on the floor and were getting tracked throughout the house. I couldn't even touch the tree to decorate it without tons of needles falling to the ground. I managed to decorate but not happy with the look of the tree. I called the farm to ask if this was a common experience and the young lady was very nice and understanding. She suggested that my tree may have sap at the bottom of the trunk keeping it from absorbing water. She instructed me to replace the cold water with hot water to dissolve the sap which I did but it did not help. I do not recommend purchasing a tree from this farm unless you really check the tree out and have an understanding of the condition of Christmas trees. read more

I know it's not Severt's fault that the trees were less than impressive this year. However the old lady ringing us was beyond rude and super slow. She grunted when I gave her my 10% coupon from last year and yelled at me when I said I was paying cash and that I should have told her sooner. She then threw my receipt and coupon for next year at me. My son wished her a Merry Christmas and she gave him a dirty look. This lady has no business dealing with the public. The other worker helping with the trees were super nice and polite! read more
