I brought my daughters beautiful prom dress to be altered after. after seeing the dress the owner made it almost seem like there was nothing she could do and that it would be a lot of work and expensive. We got out of the hop, called the store we purchased the dress from and had an appointment with a very experienced seamstress was able to do all of the alterations with ease. We chose that route as the owner of the store seemed like it would challenging for her. read more

One of the places you can get seamstress help on your clothes. Reasonable prices, but a little bit of a wait for your items. Kind if expected since she is very busy. 4 stars only because she takes cash only after 4pm. Credit cards ok before that though. read more

I brought a couple of work jackets and needed a zipper replaced on one , and patches placed on the elbows of the other . She told me that patches would not be a good idea for a reason I really didn't understand. When I went to pick up the jackets , she had replaced both zippers and had not sown up the rip on the elbow . The zipper on the jacket with the tear on it was fine . She claimed it was torn , but I know that it was working fine . How could she have forgotten the ripped elbow . Anyway , she did fix the elbow and it was done so poorly that the stitches tore out on the first wear . Save your money and time and go somewhere else read more

I recently visited this place due to a google search. I am a professional photographer and needed one of my camera bags repaired. I went to this place on a Tuesday to drop my bag off and was told to pick it up a week later on Tuesday I was given no quote simply handed a receipt with a price. Mind you the repair was not a serious repair just a little stitching on the zipper seam. When I arrived a week later I walked in around 3pm and was told my bag would not be ready until 4pm. I gave no fuss and went shopping until the bag was ready. Upon my return to retrieve my bag the seamstress on duty said it would be about 5 more minutes I return to my vehicle and waited . As I walked in to grab the bag I was asked if I carry Heavy amounts of equipment in my bag. I proceeded to tell her yes I carry all of my equipment in this bag when I do jobs. She then explained to me to be careful with the bag and gave me an explanation as to why the bag may need repair again in the future. When I Arrived home I inspected the stitching and was amazed to see it was simply hand stitched and did not appear to be quality work. if I wanted this type of repair I would have done it myself or had a family member do it that was my reason for seeking professional help. This woman is RUDE. She promises the WORLD and then DOES NOT DELIVER. My bestie dropped off her dress to her in July to be taken out. She claimed she could add a corset back to the dress, it would be an EASY fix and would be ready for the October wedding. She had 3 check ins with the dress. the first two times the dress was not touched as she hadn't started on it. The 3rd check in the dress was HACKED! It looked like a 5 year old sewed this. Then when she was confronted about her hack job she responds with IF THE BRIDE WASN'T THIS BIG IT WOULD HAVE FIT HER ... Ummm she came to you to have the dress let out! The bride was the SAME size on the day of the initial appointment as she was when she came to get the "fixed" dress! FYI the only good reviews i see for her are for patch jobs... I could do those. Wonderful job. Needed suit pants altered and repaired for a wedding before a huge snowstorm. Had them done in a day and the work was impeccable. Will continue bringing all of my clothing here. Wonderful lady! I needed to get my military uniform ready for the ball and she was ready to help. The Nex seems to be always backed up (3 week wait) however, she will be able to complete my hemming in one week. She is a former Navy tailor and is skilled to the Max! This place is terribly unreliable... 4 weeks with my coat and no progress on a zipper replacement, excuse after excuse on why it couldn't get done. Mind you, I told her I was willing to pay more for expedited work... Nope. She extended my date it would be ready until the 16th, and I dropped the coat off 10nov2015... If you want something fixed promptly don't go here.. It's frustrating and a waste of your time. read more

One of the only tailors in the area with a machine that could work on nylon fabric. I had gone to several tailors and none had the capacity to work on that fabric so I and was overjoyed when she said she could take in a nylon unitard that was too big for me. The turn around was extremely fast too! The fit was so much better and by looking at it, you'd never know that any alterations were made. read more

Way over charged me for simple pant hem. Not knocking her seamstress skills, but I paid more for the simple hem on 7 pairs of scrub pants than all 7 pair cost me to buy. Ugh! I know to ask prices next time. read more

Very disappointed. This woman does not back her work which I found to be of very poor quality. I gave her the opportunity to fix some patches she had put on a jacket for me that all came out crooked. Because I didnt inspect the coat right when I picked it up and too much time had gone by (almost a year because the garment wasnt worn) she flat out refused to acknowledge her poor quality of work. Even faced with a picture I took when I dropped the coat off originally and placed all of the patches where I wanted them and after she pinnied them in place, and then her clearly seeing it wasn't completed properly she would not apologize or offer to make it right. I didn't find her to be professional at all and would recommend someone who stands by their work. read more
