It's a lovely family-run business, and you can tell they've been doing this a long time. Everyone is super kind, professional, and incredibly skilled. I've brought in all kinds of things over the years -- scrubs, dresses, shirts, pants -- and they always do a great job. They're very knowledgeable about different fabrics (whether it's thick, stretchy, delicate, etc.), so pricing can vary depending on what you bring in. But they're always upfront and explain everything clearly, which I really appreciate. Turnaround time is fast and they're very punctual, but if you're in a real rush, they do offer a fair upcharge for expedited service. Still, I'd definitely recommend giving them at least a week or two, especially if you've got a dance or special event coming up. They'll let you know right away what's realistic and always follow through. Just a heads up -- it's cash or check only, but totally worth the extra step. Couldn't recommend them more!

Dropped off on Friday picked up on Wednesday (5.5 days). I was actually horrified when I saw the work they did. The stitching is bunched and uneven. Makes the whole jacket front right panel pucker. I offered to, but she didn't even let me pay because she knew how badly it had turned out. They should've called and told me if they were not confident in fixing it. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.

She charged me $58 for it, which is $15 more than the (what I thought was overpriced) rate at Clothworks for a similar dress. Not to mention, the hem is uneven. One side of the dress rests on the ground while the other is a solid inch above it. I mean nobody will notice when I'm in the wedding, but for more than HALF the price of the dress, it's disappointing. I stand by my opinion that for a quick turnaround and a simple job (i.e. my first experience), the prices are reasonable, but for something nicer, I agree with other reviews that I'd steer clear.

Or as elusive as the wind. But alas-- I now know someone and you do, too. Stephanie's Custom Clothing & Alterations is now my place for any future alteration needs. I scoured the Google machine, as well as the Yelp App and found Stephanie. I popped on her website and huzzah! I could text her and send photos of what I was dealing with to see if it was something she could accommodate. (I like walking into appointments feeling prepared, showing what it was and explaining it beforehand helped me do that.) She quickly responded and we got an appointment set up a week later. She even was able to do later in the afternoon, as to accomodate my daughter that was in summer camp. The day of the appointment Stephanie was polite, professional and really seemed to know her stuff. Her shop is in a room just off her house-- totally separate with it's own entrance. She pinned both my and my little's dresses to be hemmed for an upcoming wedding and said she'd them ready within a week! Pricing seemed on par. She kindly gave me several other seamstress to contact for which I was grateful. It's 2025 and this year we made it in time. Diane did NOT disappoint. I am more than impressed with tailoring skills. My daughter is thrilled with her prom dress. Diane had the dress ready in amazing time which will allow us the time needed to add the crystals before the dance. Diane is a gracious, kind and very competent lady. She deserves to charge the highest prices and all I can say is, "if you are fortunate enough to get a timeslot, it would be best to take it!"~

I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed and some tacks moved for a wedding I am in this summer. I…read moredropped my dress off, got the measurements done and left it there. Price was never discussed during the initial process at all, which I can take some blame for for not asking. The dress took 2.5 weeks to be done. It was well done. The problem I have is the pricing. The dress itself cost me less than $120 and when I picked the dress up, the alterations cost me $175. It was quite shocking. Again, well done alterations but is expensive. The dress also wasn't steamed when I picked it up either.
