Upon check in to my hotel I sent a text message to my wedding coordinator letting her know my room number. I also received a text message from the woman who actually came to do my hair. I felt very secure in the process. Michelle Cooper arrived at my hotel room at the agreed upon time and was so nice. Since I had arranged this service through a 3rd party I didn't know if I would have someone come for my hair and someone for my makeup, so I began showing Michelle photos of my makeup, then I showed her hair for reference so she could get an idea of my overall vision. Michelle then told me she was going to be doing both. She set my up next to the window so the natural light was plentiful and she began her magic. I had two pictures of hair ideas and she asked me a couple of questions and then gave me her opinion along with why she felt that way. I am thankful that I let her work her magic because my hair turned out fantastic! After she was done doing my hair she showed it to me and asked if I liked it. There were two things I wanted changed and she fixed it up and it was absolutely amazing. My hair stayed all day and night in the Vegas heat. I assumed there would be 100 Bobby pins in my hair with the security I felt, but there was only like 20 when I took it out at the end of the night. My makeup was also flawless. I typically don't wear a lot of makeup so having a full face on can be a bit startling. Michelle made me look absolutely stunning. I wanted false lashes but having never worn them before my niece suggested that I get the individual lash sections versus the full lash. Michelle told me why she felt the full lash would be better and she applied them early on in the makeup process to ensure that I was comfortable with them. I explained that I felt like one was digging into the corner and she fixed it immediately and it was like I wasn't wearing anything on them when she got done. They lasted all night and came off easily in the morning. Michelle also used my own lipstick and she had a liner to match and my lipstick stayed on all night with one touch up after dinner! Not only was Michelle fantastic at her profession, but she is a midwestern born woman and we bonded over growing up in the same state. She was funny, down to earth, and easy to talk to. There was another customer going off on them for the long wait (our wait was longer- but her screaming did get her seen so maybe we should've tried that). Because I booked for 2 people at the same time I assumed we would have our services in tandem or the very least sit next to each other, but by the time I started my friend was finishing up. During my hair wash, I was getting splashed with water. The temperature also went from super cold to warm. No towel was wrapped around my shoulders to prevent the splash back. I also noticed that other makeup artists present did not appear to recognize Bonnie as part of the local Vegas makeup community, which raised further red flags. We were fortunate to be members of the bridal party and not the bride herself otherwise she could have really ruined someone's special day. She is the main point of contact when it came to the pricing, booking, and confirming. Their website is detailed with prices and packages. I booked an Elite Hair & Makeup package for the three of us. It cost $219 per person. Upgrades are an additional cost (ex: airbrush makeup $35, eyelashes $10, rhinestones $10, hair extensions $10, updos $10, Hollywood waves $10). Since they're mobile, they charge a travel fee of $20 for each artist. A deposit is required before you get a confirmation. Deposits are non-refundable. They take payments through PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. The remaining balance will be paid after the services. Although Laura had many grammatical errors and may seem all over the place, she was very responsive. She sent me a detailed breakdown of each charge. After sending her a deposit, she sent me a confirmation of my appointment date, time, and location. The day before the services, the hair and makeup artists contacted me for reference photos to get an idea of what we wanted. I sent them a few images I found online. Karina and Liss arrived on time on the day of the appointment. They came extremely prepared with their own lighting and products. Both artists were gentle and patient. Karina did an amazing job with our makeup. I asked for a full glam for my mother and I. I wanted a warm eyeshadow, cut crease, gold shimmer, contour, and baking. Took it back to the 2018 makeup era. I asked for the same makeup style for my mother, but she wanted her outer and inner corners smoked out with a shimmer in the middle. My sister went for a soft glam and a smokey eyeshadow look. We absolutely loved our makeup and appreciated how well it stayed on for 12+ hours! Liss did a beautiful job with our hair. I sent her images of the hairstyles my mother and sister wanted, and she did exactly that. My sister wanted curls and a braid around her crown. My mother wanted her hair curled and half of it pinned in the back. I was the only one that did not have a reference photo, simply because I couldn't find what I wanted. I explained with as much detail as possible about the hairstyle I wanted. I wanted braids on the side of my head, majority of my hair slicked to one side, volume on the top, and curls.
