Poor customer service skills accompanied by a lack of business follow through. I had a tour planned for four people over the course of several hours, which was booked several weeks in advance. Upon arrival the owner informed us that he had "forgotten" about our tour and did not have any of the bikes needed for the tour. Without apology he informed us that the tour would be cancelled. The 4pm tour was our plan for the afternoon but with it being canceled left us without any activity in beautiful Seward. Thank you Ron! read more

While visiting my sister in Seward , who has lived here for 30 years, we wanted to check in to renting a bike. We were greeted by the most miserabable and rude owner we have ever met! He was just opening and placing his bikes outside and told us to get out of his way and said that he didn't need to be polite about it because he figured we weren't there to spend any money and that he's retiring soon and could care less. Ron's set up is truly quaint. Nestled in one of four train cars in the "Train Rec" complex, Ron rents hard tail MTB, fat bikes and all the fixins that go with them. For a very affordable price of $25 for hard tail and $35 for fat bike, you can find yourself biking the beaches, Exit glacier road or anywhere else that fits your fancy.
