There were some things that they had to work out to make sure that the system was working the way that it was supposed to, but I told Scot that I'd rather the system take longer to put in and it be put in RIGHT than it to be put in fast and not well. While it did take longer than initially anticipated, they were still well within their contracted time for the install... AND I still recommend them to others even with some of the hiccups. What I appreciated the most apart from the quality equipment and supplies installed with care was how well their team works together to help their customers. Scot, Sabrina, Chris and the rest of the team were very patient with my concerns and questions throughout the whole process. This is huge because sometimes I have a lot of questions! Also, they don't just do the installation then forget about you after it's done. They are prepared to offer kind and thorough customer support on their work and the equipment they installed. While this was expensive for me, I feel good about this purchase. Especially because of what happened recently with the ERCOT debacle. We did our installation in 2022 and have seen our energy bills lower than ever before! (We have some shade on our roof so we didn't do the full roof, ~20 panels or so, but it worked out well.) They did the rebate work with the city so our out-of-pocket cost wasn't exorbitant at all. Our household also recently purchased a second electric vehicle so we contacted 512 Solar again, this time for a level 2 charger installation. Once again, 512 Solar was excellent at getting our quote together, suggesting two hardwired chargers that the city does rebates on, and actually getting the work done as well. We have to do the final step with submitting the rebate paperwork to the city, I believe, but that's small beans compared to all the work that JP and Huiyun did for us at the outset. Really happy we went with these folks and will continue to recommend their business!

The shop was easy to find, the hours are great. You'll find several types of glass samples on display in the showroom, glass cuts, colors and textures that I hadn't even imagined. There is a friendly cat in the showroom area, in case you're a cat person. It's ok if he walks out the door with you, he knows his way around. When I dropped off the template, one pane of glass had already been cut based on my written description & a follow-up phone call, they were a perfect match! My glass panes were cut to order, completed in about a week, and came out perfectly. My next order will be for a few sheets of plexiglass, you know I'll be calling Temple Glass & Mirror first!
