Had alterations done on 3 polo shirts and 2 quarter zip sweaters. Shortening of the sleeves and a little tailoring to make it slimmer. The lady who measured me and did the work did an excellent job. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Other places I've gone to in the past did not do as good of a job, either by tailoring the shirt too tightly making the sleeve hug the arm too much, or by shortening at the sleeve rather than the shoulder. I brought a huge pile of clothes that I thought didn't fit well last time I checked and spoiler alert they all fit perfectly, much to my embarrassment lmao so I ended up just showing her half my closet for no reason LOL but she was still very patient and didn't try to accept all the clothes just to make money off me-she actually only took like three items. She does dry cleaning and also alterations and like a true professional, she knows exactly what parts need adjustments the minute you put it on! She gets the job done quick and at a fair price too. I've never had an issue with her tailoring and it's really elevated my wardrobe pieces. This is hand down my go-to spot if I ever need any alterations! Co is very sweet and she definitely knows the shape of a woman's body. She was able to alter my bridesmaid dress to my liking and I was able to move freely in it when it came to the length and bodice of the dress. I trust her expertise when it comes to getting the right length and proportions. Just recently, I stopped by to get an ao dai altered that my mom had purchased for me in Vietnam. I actually went to an alteration (Lien Huong) closer to where I was eating lunch that day and got rejected stating they couldn't do it since my ao dai was tight and had a hard time zipping up. I even showed them that my ao dai had extra fabric sewed in for any alternations needed incase it didn't fit, but no luck. I honestly should have went with my first instinct and got it done here as I usually do. Not sure why the other place couldn't do it, but once I tried it on, Co knew exactly what needed to get done and how to do it. The ao dai came back fitting perfectly. I was able to sit down, breathe, move around, and all that which made me super happy. Co is amazing and she really knows what she's doing. I walked in and was met with a very sweet lady behind the counter. She asked what I was looking for and I let her know that I was looking for alterations to pants and she was very quick to ask me to try them on. I am 5'3 so I've always had to get my pants hemmed due to the length and I've had some tailors in the past who have asked me to try on every single pair of pants, however she only asked me if I wanted the same length for all the pants and when I said yes, she made it really seamless and easy and let me know that I didn't have to try all of them on and that they would be ready in two days. I've typically had to wait about a week when getting a bundle of pants altered and in this case, it was four pairs of pants, so I was a bit surprised when she only gave me a two day waiting period. The price was reasonable at $52 and they only take cash which in my experience is when some businesses have the best work! read more

I came here for a last minute alteration for a lace strapless top for my bachelorette trip to Miami. Mae was so kind and knew exactly what I needed in order to make the top fit more securely. She suggested we add hooks to the front since the string tie was not secure enough, and it held up very well with all the dancing and partying! Been here so many times since I found them randomly few years ago. The owner is super sweet and friendly. The turn around time is quick. Drop off Wednesday and picking up Friday for dry cleaning. As for alterations, I had work uniforms to MOH dresses done here and I got them back in about a week depending on how complex it was. 2nd time visiting this shop and the experience with May has yet to disappoint me. Like the first time, I was warmly greeted. The fitting was detailed, the price was reasonable, and the turnaround time was quick (imo). The result? Amazing! I am in love with my dress, and you can tell that May takes pride in her work seeing how often she would ask if there's anything I was unsatisfied with after trying on the final alterations of my dress. I was in a pinch. I am a business traveler and purchased some jeans (3 pair) that needed to be altered quickly. I had to fly home in a couple of days and immediately hop on a flight the very next morning where I would need the jeans. I called around and this place offered to meet me at their shop early and they would turn them around the following day by noon, when I had to head to the airport. I went in and the lady had me try the jeans on. She asked questions about how I wanted them and pinned me up. I was a little worried about getting them done and told her if she could even get one finished in time, I would be happy. She promised all three. I went in the next day at the right time and tried the jeans on and I have never had jeans that have fit so perfectly. My wife loves how they fit, I love how they fit and may never buy jeans without having them tailored again. The job was a little expensive, but it was absolutely fine. She told me the cost up front. My new favorite blouse ruined. We dropped off maybe two dozen clothes for dry cleaning. They had previously done a good job with altering my wedding dress and several years later we decided to give this place a try for dry cleaning. Ivory colored blouse I wore once and it came back light gray. The usual sweat areas like the neck/collar and armpits were not cleaned at all - in fact the stains looked more baked into the fabric than anything else. Took the blouse to another trusted dry cleaner, although some distance away, and we were told that the blouse doesn't change color if it was dry cleaned - that it must have been regularly washed with other clothes, which explains the change in blouse color. Fortunately this guy committed to getting the stains out but nothing he can do about the awful color. I wanted this place to be my go to dry cleaners because of location convenience but they're not getting my business again after ruining my $200 blouse. read more

The rates here are far below the normal rate that any place would quote. I bought 2 wedding dresses- one for the ceremony and one for the reception. I called around in San Diego (where I live) for quotes, and literally I got the same from every place saying my first dress would cost me $800-900. I was disgusted because i bought the dress for only $300 and it'll cost me 3x to tailor one! I started looking in OC. I know there are cheaper Vietnamese moms shop. I wasn't near my mom and I know my mom can do it for cheap too! This was the closest and I read reviews. I brought both dresses. The first dress I got it hemmed. No tighten because it's a corset. Second dress I got it raised up, straps up, and 5 American bustles. Total pricing for both dress was around $200. Not only are their prices incredibly reasonable and their customer service top-notch, but May and Jason are the most genuinely kind and caring people I have ever met. I'm not kidding when I tell you that May quoted me about 25% - 50% below what other alteration specialists were quoting me - I got 5 quotes total from different alteration specialist. I was skeptical, but after hearing great reviews (online and personal referrals), I stopped in. May was so sweet and very meticulous with her measurements and how she designed my bustle to compliment the design of my dress' train. In all, May added boning, hemmed the dress, added a bustle, took out the dress a little around my hip area so it wouldn't rip when I sat down (I didn't even realize that might happen until she mentioned it being a little tight when I bend over - when I tell you she's meticulous!), and fixed the back of my dress which has a few broken buttons (I bought it on clearance at a bridal expo). Everything came out perfect! I was so impressed that I brought my dress and veils back for cleaning and preservations services. My dress was FULL of sand from the beach since we had a toes-in-the-sand beach reception, but May made sure it was cleaned perfectly and packaged up well. She even put the display box within a separate box to ensure no damage when we stored it in the garage. Mae was incredible to work with! She did a fantastic job altering my wedding dress and was incredibly quick with it too! In fact, we were done with alterations about 3 months before my wedding date. I was a little bit concerned about but Mae told me to try it on again a month before my wedding and if any alterations needed adjusting, she'd tackle it again then. I was looking to get my dress altered for a wedding to have the slit a little higher so that it'd stay open when I stood up straight and to have it hemmed a bit.
