(I found this place after a yelp search) I saw photos and reviews of future brides literally trusting this place with the most important clothing item in the world.. their wedding dress At my first visit, I brought in a Versace cape. it was on sale, except it was 3 sizes too big. I was a little nervous since this cape did have embroidery and heavy detail on the sides, so I knew it was going to be hard to do, but she said it wouldn't be a huge issue. But she did see it immediately and pointed out she could only take it in so much so it didn't ruin the embroidery pattern. She gave me a quote that was under 100 dollars (so, it was totally worth buying on sale even though I knew it was 3 sizes too big and would need altered) (she literally saved me thousands) She called me about 2-3 days later for pick up, and she knocked it out of the park I came back in for more alterations and I was immediately greeted by the owner,Kim, who is so warm and friendly. She's extremely honest about what CAN and CANNOT be done. And, gives you honest prices. She really aims to get the job done and up to everyone's standards to make sure everyone is happy. She's so professional yet so warm and friendly. I seriously love how talented, Kim is. I brought in a Gucci cardigan that had a little snag in it that was turning into a BIG snag. She was honest about the fact she couldn't do much. I told her it did not have to be perfect, I just did not want it getting worse. She actually called me same day and told me it was ready for pick up. The job she did was FLAWLESS! And she charged only 20 dollars Then, my third visit. I needed these items done. -light blue dress that needed taken in because it was a size too big -a sheer maxi dress that needed taken in all over and about 9 inches taken off the bottom -blazer style dress that needed taken in And a couple other items. However, I noticed the owner, Kim, who was there for 20 years had already moved. Please, spread the word. If you or anyone you know, needs some tailoring by highly qualified professional with tons of experience and family owned. I'm extremely sad this tailoring staple in OC has moved due to the rent almost doubling. They have been around for 20 years. I've had two dresses altered and both times turn around was super quick and the work completed was wonderful!

One leg of the pants I had hemmed was 1-2 inches longer than the other! What the heck?!? The thread color used also did not go well with the pant. I paid for the trouble of having to get it redone. Jan 2026: I am not sure how to send a reply to the businesses note below, so I'm editing my original message. Included is the picture of the jumpsuit jeans that I had hemmed. You can see the one inch difference. I tried it on and one side is definitely longer than the other. You can see for yourself. I'm sure your business is great with the wedding dresses, but the quality assurance on your hemming is terrible. I had another pair of jeans that was also included in this alteration and those were also hemmed way too long and not how it was markedI had to get both redone. super $$$$$$ I dropped off 6 pairs of ted baker and Robert Graham pants just for legs to by shortened 2". Was charged 35 per pant oh and two pants to bring in waist. When I picked up my suit, they had me try it on to confirm I was happy, and it was clear they took pride in their work. As a Vietnamese American, I sometimes feel nervous going into Vietnamese-owned businesses since my Vietnamese is limited, but Kim spoke English very well and made me feel completely comfortable. I'm so happy I brought my wedding dress here!!! I made the mistake of taking it to another place first (Lucy's tailoring - do not recommend) and brought my dress here for a last minute bustle in the back. They got my dress turned around in 5 days and got it to me last minute before my wedding - I am so happy! In addition, the person helping me was so friendly, took her time to pin my dress and showed me all the different options we could do for a bustle before I decided what I wanted: this was SO nice and something the other tailor I used simply would not take the time to do. I highly recommended TK Tailoring if you ever need any alterations for your wedding dresses. I dropped in around late April for a fitting and Kim gave me a quote for both wedding dresses. For the first dress, I had the long train in the back removed, hemmed, and the straps shortened. For the second dress, I had the straps shortened and added a bustle at the back. Since I was in no rush, I told Kim to take her time and both dresses were ready for pick up in early June. My wedding was not until late July so there was plenty of time. I just have to say that TK Tailoring is TOP NOTCH. I have been coming here for years, mostly to get my dresses and pants hemmed because being 5'1", your relationship with your tailor should be like PB to J. The turn around time for my garments is pretty quick too. So, come to my surprise, on THE most important alteration of my life, the bridal salon based out of West Hollywood that I purchased my wedding dress from recommended TK Tailoring. My first thought was... no this can't be MY TK tailoring down the street. Kim at TK is fabulous and really looked at all aspects of my wedding dress alteration from soup to nuts, listened to all of my concerns, and truly went above and beyond to give me that same sparkle I had when I tried on the dress at the bridal salon. My brand new $250 jeans was hemmed too short and impossible to fix it, sadly. The fee for hem is way over priced for the work that she has done. We are paying $25 for 10 minutes job. . I expect better quality work and service. I read negative reviews from other customers and the owner 's feedback. She has tendency to NOT taking ACCOUNTABILITY by saying " don't have record". I went to Kim today to attempt to get a simple dress hemmed. She was helpful in the beginning. Kim quoted me $200 for the alteration so I needed to call my partner to make sure it was okay for me to spend that money, as it seemed like a high price for what I needed done. He wasn't answering the phone so I politely asked her if I could come back once he gave me an answer. To that Kim responded with, "Okay, waste of my time". She only assisted me for no more than 5 minutes and I was willing to pay the price as my partner said it was okay but after her response, I will not be back. read more

I'm sad to hear that they have to relocate due to a ridiculous price increase on their rent, but I would follow this lady if she was doing this in a tent in her backyard. I've recently been in to see Kim twice in the last month. 1st was for a pair of dress pants that went with a suit. (What a mistake I made purchasing a suit from Hollywood Suits) Kim had to basically make me a new pair of pants because the they were soooo huge on me from the suit store. Still curious as to how much material was left over. The pants fit and looked AMAZING. I wish I had a before and after photo to share, as these words don't do justice to the incredible job she did. The 2nd was an original London fog naval pea coat. I found it at a thrift store in amazing shape but sleeves were a little long and several of the buttons were coming off. She shortened the sleeves perfectly for me and the buttons aren't coming off during my lifetime. Kim is without a doubt the nicest, and most polite seamstress I've ever come across. The work at TK is always top notch. And the turnaround is typically pretty fast. I've been in several time before for work clothing (pants need hemming) and I get my clothes back quickly and flawless. I will always come back and have clothes tailored by Kim, based on the work and trust factor. If you are considering a tailor she is the best I have found. read more
