The shop is located in a small strip mall in Harbor Center, right next to the Harbor Center Mail Room. The owner, Buyong, was very kind and welcoming. I came in with a broken button on a pair of pants, and she helped me right away. She was very helpful and let me know that the alteration would be ready in a week, which I think is a reasonable turnaround time. A customer ahead of me mentioned that Buyong does excellent work, which was reassuring. Pricing is fair -- hemming starts at $15, and my button replacement was $10. I would definitely come back for future alteration needs. As a bonus, she also offers dry cleaning services, which is a plus!

I could've done it myself, if I had a sewing machine. At first, she quoted $50. I thought she said $15. I clarified pricing and whether it was cash or credit card for payment. She requested cash and stated I'd pay for taxes as well. A couple seconds later, she bumped pricing up to $80. I said no, I'm not paying $80 to alter a skirt. Then, she said $60 to alter the skirt. I said no, I'm good. She then lowered the price to $50 again. I would've paid the $50 to rush the skirt, but I was disappointed that she was price gauging me. Straight out of the bag, his suit smelled like fried food and let the pictures speak for itself. There are wrinkles and wrong creases in multiple spots.
