Initially, it was challenging to get my daughter to remain still for the teeth check and cleanup, but now she eagerly anticipates her visits. Dr. Jay and his staff are incredibly empathetic and understanding towards the children. The ceiling TVs, stickers, Lego toys, and balloons provided after the visit add a delightful touch to the experience. There's a reason why he's not accepting any new patients. His extensive experience in caring for children speaks volumes, and I couldn't imagine my daughter visiting any other dentist. He has truly set a high standard. Interestingly, Dr. Jay is known to have doppelgängers who resemble Roger Federer and Mark Daigneault. However, you can decide for yourself. He is undoubtedly one of the best children's dentists in the area, and I highly recommend him!

My child has ADHD and significant cavity anxiety, and we were in a tough spot when he couldn't be seen by his regular dentist. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Pang was calm, patient, and deeply professional. She explained everything clearly, moved at a pace that respected my child's needs, and created an environment where he felt safe enough to get through cavity fillings--something that previously felt impossible for him. What truly stood out was her steady, reassuring presence. She never rushed, never escalated the moment, and handled the situation with skill and compassion. Because of her, what could have been a traumatic experience became a manageable--and even empowering--one for my child. Huge shout-outs as well to Angie and Ashley, who were incredible. Not only were they wonderful with my child, but they also helped me stay calm and grounded as a parent. That kind of care makes a real difference. If you have a child with anxiety, ADHD, or special emotional needs around dental care, this is the team you want. We are so grateful.

Unfortunately, my experience with Children's Choice Dental Care has been worse than disappointing…read more At our most recent appointment when signing in, I was directed to sign digitally on a pad at the counter. I was given no information as to what I was signing, simply to sign. When I asked what I would be signing for, I was told "for treatment." I asked to be shown what it was I was signing, and a computer monitor was half turned towards me to show what it was. I was asked to sign multiple times, and had to ask each time what I was signing for. My child was scheduled for one filling, and one crown. They had added anesthetic to the treatment plan, which I then declined. After directing us to a separate waiting room, we proceeded to wait 40 minutes, 30 minutes past the time of our agreed upon treatment time. This despite their policy of canceling on patients who are 10 or more minutes late. We specifically set appointments with one dentist in particular, and that dentist only. We make it clear each time we schedule an appointment. When the dentist finally saw us, it was a different dentist than with whom we had scheduled. When the treatment plan was brought up, it was no longer one filling and one crown. Instead my child had been green lit for the anesthetic, as well as 3 crowns and two root canals. I declined the treatment, canceled the appointment, and canceled the next scheduled appointment. Weeks later, my dental insurance sent me a later informing me they declined the $150 payment requested from Children's Choice Dental Care for "treatment" we supposedly received that day. Twice now I have called to discuss this charge, and twice I've been told that my case was being referred to a higher authority that would get back to me. As of yet, no one has reached out to me via phone or email to discuss our case. It's hard to understand how so much can go so wrong, but I hope it's not because Children's Choice Dental Care feels comfortable taking advantage of parents who may not understand what they are agreeing to, or that the treatment prescribed is not in the best interest of their child.

Dr. Rothman's office location has plenty of nearby free neighborhood parking, although there are metered parking spots directly in front of the office. If you're looking for a well-trained pediatric dentist with awesome credentials that offers state of the art care, come here! You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Dr. Han! p.s. Dr. Han can be very straightforward at times, but it's all in the interest of YOUR CHILD'S HEALTH AND CARE! I recently had COVID, so masking is still a priority for me in medical settings. That's why I was shocked to see Dr. Han repeatedly enter the room with his mask under his chin -- especially when every member of his support staff wore their masks correctly the entire time. I asked him to cover his face, and he said he would "in a few minutes." He briefly masked during the exam, then removed it again during X‑rays while standing inches from my unmasked child. For a provider working in close proximity to children, this felt careless and unnecessary. On top of the inconsistent masking, Dr. Han made several sweeping, fear‑based claims about electric toothbrushes (gum recession, mold inside the handle, microplastics) without offering any evidence or nuance. These statements sounded more like YouTube talking points than professional dental guidance, and they didn't match our family's actual dental history or the excellent condition of my child's teeth. The whole appointment left me feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. My son will remain a patient here only because this is the practice our insurance covers, but the dentist's approach has seriously undermined my confidence in the care. Update: I want to clarify that my concern was not about "hurt feelings." It was about trust. When a medical provider dismisses a basic safety request and responds with inconsistent, fear‑based information, that's a breach of trust -- not a matter of tone. Parents deserve clear communication and professionalism, especially in a pediatric setting.

Athough, I could have easily gotten Invisalign, he saved me time and money with braces (something I never considered doing again). This is a review that I've wrote in my drafts on April 20, 2020: My experience with Dr Lebus has been nothing short of horrible. I am doing clear retainer with him and I have been stressed and frustrated for months. He and his staff are disorganized. See examples below: -his office sent my trays to the wrong address when I specifically double checked the correct one with them because I had a feeling they weren't organized. The receptionist said she didn't check the notes and apologized. Now why wouldn't you check the address on file before sending something as time sensitive as clear retainers? -He didn't tell me I would be needing attachments. I came in on the scheduled date just to pick up my trays and a dental assistant told me she would be gluing something on my teeth. Dr Lebus did not discuss this with me in the slightest beforehand; he never even MENTIONED attachments. -when I confronted Dr Lebus about the issue above, he tried to spin it around and said it was my fault for coming in on a day he wasn't there. ??? They SPECIFICALLY scheduled me to come in on that date. I didn't even know he wouldn't be there. -constantly late with the trays. Always several days later than the day that they predict they will be done. -during the COVID shutdown, I emailed Dr Lebus asking him how this would affect my plan. 3 full weeks later he passive aggressively responded "I expressed last time you need to come into the office and somehow you didn't show up after I rushed the trays." This is straight up false. I actually have text proof of THEM pushing my last appointment to later because the trays weren't ready. I have never been late to pick up trays.
