The water heater at my investment property shorted and a resulting fire had to put out with water. Billy Woodside, Maintenance Manager at Limestone Investments LLC, sprung into action quickly and obtained bids for a replacement 50-gallon tank. Tech installed a new water heater with quick disconnect flex lines, shut off valves and repaired the line on top of the water heater, drain pan, water heater alarm and straps in the laundry room closet. The maintenance was done by Jim Riha, I can only say that this man is very knowledgeable and professional. Jim has done work in this home before so I was pleased to see he was the person on the job. He identified the problem immediately, showed me the area in the closet where, when the shower was switched on, the water simultaneously poured down the inside wall. After he acquired the parts it took hours to complete the job, although it was quite late, Jim did not leave until he had completed the maintenance, my son and I were very impressed. There was no mess and the hole in the closet wall was left to dry out overnight. The following day Jim got the correct color paint, finished and painted the wall. I've leased with Jim and his team and it has been a great experience... so much so, that I was compelled on my own to come write this review. I rented from Jim last minute and urgently after finally getting back from lockdown in the UK. My agent had lined up another rental through a management team that turned out to be a nightmare- that owner lied, yelled... it was an experience I had never experienced before and I ultimately did not take that lease... which left me scrambling last minute. My agent (Tina Brown-Lavin; an "above and beyond" type agent. More than once, she was up at the crack of dawn to have my application in first, amongst other help. She's brilliant and I highly recommend her) found a home through Limestone. Jim's team worked with us to speed up the application process and even let us move in earlier than expected, wrapping up maintenance etc., in a timely matter to accommodate. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this. All maintenance requests and payments are done online and automated. It made everything so effortless. Again, something that I feel really grateful for. I will also add that at one point, I had a unique request to accommodate my son. I definitely felt like Jim was supportive and "on my side" when I brought it up. First off as someone who has lived in 19 different cities I am not new to being both a homeowner and renter. Limestone Investments is by far the best experience I have ever had renting a home. Between owner/property managers and large corporate entities where the customer is "just" a number, Limestone absolutely finds that sweet spot. They are more than fair and especially transparent in dealing with a property that you have chosen to call home. Recently the property owner where I rent requested an annual HVAC inspection. Limestone arranged an extremely reputable company to perform the inspection. The technician contacted me, we set up a time and he arrived exactly on time. He was courteous and respectful of my time and our belongings. He immediately stated what he was there to do and approximately how long it would take. Experiencing an interaction with a company that says what they are going to do and actually doing that with excellence is refreshing. I direct the HVAC company's behavior back to Limestone's mindset and approach to taking care of their customer.
