I had a very complex job due to location and timing. This was a dry docked boat out at a Lake, with a cabinet and doors. I wanted to mount a 40 inch TV outside the cabinet. He reviewed mounting options and demonstrated that the wall mount was secure before putting the TV on it. I needed additional HDMI cables so he drove me to Best Buy where he identified the highest quality and lowest price (I needed only 1.5 m cables, by myself I would've bought 4 m cables for significantly more). Thank God for SG Installions! I had initially contacted a company called Puls, and I didn't realize that they were not a local company, but rather a "referral agency" that outsources independent contractors they do the work. I was very specific that I had a STONE fireplace where I wanted a 75" TV installed. When the guy showed up, he said that he didn't have the tools to do the work, and that when most people say "Stone", it's actually fake stone. (What?). A complete waste of my time! I was cautious when I called SG, but when Steven showed up, he said that the job would be difficult, but he could make anything work... and he did! I first had SG Installations out to install a TV mount on my bedroom wall about a year ago. I already had the mount and had the electricity and cable moved up to where the TV would be. They ran into a snag so Steven came over to assist and got the job done. This week I had Direct TV over to connect my TV and once the coaxial cable was attached it obstructed the mount from going flat against the wall. I found SG Installations here on Yelp. I had a bad experience with another company and wanted to find a more reputable and quality company to mount my TV outside. I was particularly nervous because the material is stucco and I didn't want to compromise the stucco or house. However, I asked for a quote and expressed my concerns. SG got back to me very quickly and they were very patient about answering my questions. I felt a lot better and decided to book them. They came on time, with text and phone call alerts with their arrival progress. They came, I showed them where I wanted the tv, and provided my mount. SG explained I may have limited motion with this mount. I appreciated the heads up. They mounted the tv very quickly and professionally. I used SG installations a few months ago to mount my new TV on my custom built stone fireplace. Due to the non-flat surface, I knew it was not a job I could handle. They came out on time and under budget. These guys really know their stuff and are used to guys like me who buy the wrong types of mounts. The mount I wanted to use for the TV and the soundbar would not work for the application. The sound bar I had purchased would not work, either. A quick trip back to Best buy and I had purchased the sound bar that would work and the sound bar mount these guys recommended. They actually had the standard mount in their truck and were able to work on the install while I was exchanging my equipment. Everything turned out great and they even showed me their signature move by hanging off the TV mount after it was up. I have no doubt my TV will not fall off and the TV and sound bar look great up on the wall. They also came in waaay below the competition on price and provided A+ service and did an excellent job with the install. I would use them again without hesitation. read more

Fantastic experience. I found SG Installations on Angie's List and purchased an Angie's Deal for wall-mounting (on a swing-arm mount) our new TV on an outdoor patio. Steven arrived on time, quickly mounted our 40" television, and made sure everything was hooked up and working properly. You can see that he's a perfectionist and cares about his work. I'm not the most tech-savvy person and Steven took his time helping me understand our new Smart TV; he even set up a Roku account for us and added our existing Netflix information. Before he left, he told me to call him if I had any problems with anything; I didn't, but felt like I could if I'd needed to. Steven's a busy guy, but he made me feel as though he didn't have anything better to do all day than help me. He said he wouldn't leave until I was 100% happy with everything and I know he meant it.
