So far, their tcg selection seems to come in handy at a time when I'm trying to track down certain cards. You can search on their website to see what they have. The cards will even indicate the condition, everything from lightly played to psa 10. That way you have an idea what they already have. So convenient! My husband and nephews are big into Magic and Pokémon and this is their go to favorite place. The prices are great and everyone is so helpful and friendly. If you're looking for anything specific they have it all from current to old school. They also have a few pin ball games that when we are here with our daughters, they love to go and play (just make sure you bring quarters). It's a win win. read more

While on vacation we frequently visited and made purchases from this store. All went fine until today. The employee set aside the last two Chinese booster boxes for me and said when your singles are ready you can pay for both. Well when my order was ready the boxes were gone! The employee that held it for me said he went on break and doesn't know what happened to them! Then he goes on to make excuses like oh I went on break and I don't know what happen to them. Giving me attitude like what's the big deal. Spoke to the manager and all I got was oh sorry this happened to you. Every time I come in I immediately feel welcome and acknowledged. They do not have a huge staff but they still take care of every customer and meet wide expectations. Troy always is so kind and helpful. Given me advice and insight into which product would help me finish my deck, without spending too much money. Decided to test my luck purchasing phantasmal flames and some sleeves for Pokemon Regionals. Ended up pulling an SIR. Staff were friendly upon entering the store. Prices were moderately pricey on new hot items but would recommend for people to come to purchase sleeves since they are super affordable! read more

Great shop with chill vibes. A lot of community engagement, wide card and sealed stock to checkout. I think they are at a newish location so double check the address and mapping. They are open late do super nice to jot feel rushed. Easy card catalog to find what you need. Smallish parking lot that was packed when I visited so heads up. They don't really do price matching on the spot so if you want them to update pricing or adjust it takes a request and done time. Could go either way with that pricing setup in place. Staff is always welcoming once you walk in. Shopping area is clean and very well organized. Staff is acknowledge of their products showcased and gives great recommendations. I wanted to check out a card shop after work and decided to check this place out since they weren't too far away. A pretty cool spot that's right between Alternate Reality Comics and Rogue Toys. I don't know if they rebranded or took over another card shop but it's pretty nice! I was mainly hunting for some pokemon singles to add to my deck list but surprised myself with more than what I was expecting after walking away with a full collection of Final Fantasy Tifa Lockhart Borderless cards! Staff were very friendly and nice enough for me to check out the cards for fuller inspection and were very patient and helpful in getting me what I wanted. I always check tcgplayer or limitless for price comparisons and was honestly impressed that they matched marketprice or very near it. The place is very clean and spacious which I am very surprised by! I think if you're someone who likes to collect or play Magic and Pokemon, you'll have a wonderful time here! My only suggestion is having more inventory for more competitive cards that aren't just rares since i was still missing some cards I needed to complete my deck list. came to the store looking for a specific pokemon booster box but they only had the single packs from the box available. I asked if I could purchase the single packs at the price of the box and was told no by the manager, troy. some card shops offer that, some don't, so it wasn't a big deal and I ended up going with a different box instead. as I was checking out, the manager came back over and said in a somewhat annoyed tone that he would sell me the single packs for the price of the box. I was a little confused about why he seemed annoyed since I had already decided on another box and gave him no issue about it earlier but was still very grateful that he would give me a deal on the single packs so I agreed and thanked him. next to me at the register was another customer who looked at me and said "troy is a pushover" which I didn't acknowledge because I didn't know the guy. after I made my purchase I realized they only gave me 15 packs for the price of a box when a box contains 20 packs and I actually ended up spending more than I would've if I had just purchased them as single packs. I went back in to get it corrected and the manager approached me and said "my coworker told me you called me a pushover and I really don't appreciate that". I was pretty surprised since I wasn't the one who said it and he was now accusing me in front of the entire store, which was honestly humiliating. I explained that I never said that to which he replied "so do you want the extra 5 packs or not?" I ended up getting a refund and leaving because of how embarrassing and unprofessional that entire experience was. Everything here is overpriced anyway so I definitely will not be doing business here anymore. read more

I have been dealing with stomping grounds for years and buying g cards at some of the best prices in town. I used to play SWU at TK's Bobby shop. But nothing g compares to the new Stomping Grounds shop. It's fantastic great prices, huge product selection and friendly staff. If you are local or just passing through I'd highly recommend this shop. read more

Very nice, clean and nerdy aesthetic. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I can only speak for the Magic the gathering cards, but they have a great stock of singles. The pinball machines in the side room for only a quarter are great too. Will definitely come back to play some casual commander in the side room. read more

This place is AMAZING!! Last week we were passing by and decided to check it out. When we got there the doors were locked and all of the employees were literally ready to walk out the door. However, they opened the door for us and told us the store wasn't open yet and that there were doing a soft opening this week. Super sad I turned to walk away but they asked me if we wanted to come in anyways. OMG guys this store did not disappoint!!! SOOO much to choose from. The pokemon products available did not disappoint!! Definitely check this place out asap!! They also have amazing customer service... which is super hard to find now a days.
