He was super rude, very dismissive, and seemed like he was really annoyed with me asking questions. He threw the singles I was buying down on the counter without a care in the world, and they were foil cards; like, come on, man? I'm buying those, and those aren't cheap! And, when I had asked if there were any snake-based commander pre-cons (again, I am newer to MTG, so this was a genuine question), the same guy didn't even hesitate to respond extremely rudely and dismissively. The owner is also a super cool, stand up guy, and the first girl we had met at the counter was absolutely wonderful. This person I had interacted with at the counter today really put a bad taste in my mouth, questioning if I should come back again if he's going to act like that? I wish I could have gotten his name. Thank you to the owner and that girl (I also wish I had gotten her name) though, for making my first experience at Action Comics a great one. This other guy needs his attitude to be put in check. We love the variety of their selection - singles, packs (ENG & JAP), box sets, ETB's and so much more. We've always found their pricing to be reasonable and fair across the market. I've noticed that the fun sales seems to have dwindled and that it's not the best value for your spend anymore. The people working are still pretty much the same. Not bad, not the best. I called in and put my name and item list down for the preorders. I was one of the first few people to call in. When release day in nov came around when the set was release i called to check on my order they told me i was put on a overflow list wtf? I didn't get the products i put my name down for. A thought came to mind: The employees and owner of this company allowed people to cut in line even though i was first. I demanded to talk to the owner because i waited 2 months thinking that i was going to get my preorder of phantasmal flame i ordered. I was furious. Owner name "Zachary" called me and basically said there is nothing he can do. He basically said it was his employee was at fault for not telling me and i was fault because "no guranteed" they let local players get on the list first. Then why did u do a preorder list if u are not going to honor it? Note: There was no mention of this when i called in to preorder! Instead of priortizing and help me (his customer) get priority in on wave 2. He completely miss the point just straight up told me there's nothing he can do. C'mon as owner you cant do anything?
