At the appointment, we were charged $250 for an ozone add-on that was not clearly explained and was not optional. Then, seven months later, we were billed another $375 for charges that were never disclosed at the time of service of followed up in a timely manner. Seven months. That is unacceptable billing practice. The exams felt rushed and impersonal. We were not allowed to provide recent imaging and were required to redo X-rays in-office resulting in additional charges far beyond what our insurance typically covers. Our plan includes four covered visits per year with imaging included, and we have never paid out-of-pocket at any other in-network provider. Since switching dentists, we have had zero surprise charges. This experience felt like upselling and back-end billing rather than patient-focused care. If you value transparency, clear communication, and ethical billing, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I had a great time talking with the finance specialist and we shared medical experience stories. Dr. Barrett was very professional and thorough. They used a new treatment on 5 of my teeth where it was needed to prevent and reverse cavities that were forming. That treatment isn't covered by my insurance yet, (FedBCBS) but it might be in the next year. My husband's appointment is next so I am hoping his experience goes well also.

They left my broken tooth hanging without even explaining they could have bonded the tooth to the other teeth so it wouldn't detach before some sort of dental work could be done to fix the problem.I went to another dentist the same day not only did he bond the tooth to the others, the treatment plan was less than half what Patel quoted me.
