As crazy as the housing market has been from past one year, We were a little skeptical about starting a build in the middle of a pandemic and not to mention that we were first time buyers as well. Researched builders and decided to go with Shaddock because we liked their plans better. So sharing my personal experience here. We signed contract in July 2020 and the house was delivered to us in 9.5 months. Design studio person Stephanie was great and helped us picking things based on our likes/dislikes. Sales part was little lagging due to the communication from sales team, which probably caused by the housing boom. But once we were done with the interior/exterior selections and the build started, Greg Markovic (construction manager) came into the picture. Being a first time buyer we were little worried with the communication throughout the process based on the sales team's communication but Greg Markovic made up for everything. The guy has been great with the communication, very professional, always called back if he missed a call, met with us when there was something to discuss, explained everything in detail about the construction process, to the point and no BS guy. Building a house is one's biggest dream and a huge project. At the pace Shaddock construct homes is un-parallel to deliver home in the time they promised. No other builder is as fast as them and there is no compromise with quality or craftmanship. At that scale, hiccups can happen and so does mistakes. We proactively kept eye on things we picked and at least for the things we know with construction. If there was an issue then we addressed it to Greg and He took care of it for us. The guy is committed to his words and delivers on time. I have been part of the community groups where we have other builders and constantly hear horror stories about other builders in the community. Also not to mention, during the Freeze that happened here in Texas, Shaddock homes had the least damages as compared to Normandy, Village and Darling homes. Thanks Shaddock home for building us a beautiful home. If I have to ever build a home again in North Texas then I will do it with Shaddock homes in a heartbeat. read more

We have recently closed our home with Shaddock. Our experience with Shaddock home has been great. Joe was our salesperson, and Greg was our builder. Right from day 1, they both made room for most of our requests and helped us build the dream home the way we wanted. Joe and Greg ensured that most of the modifications within their limit were accommodated. We were so happy to see our home built the way we wanted it. It's been a few weeks since my home was ready to move in, and we are still receiving compliments whenever someone visits my home. I'm so happy about the outcome and owe Joe and Greg for all the compliments we receive and all the memories I will make at my home!! Joe is more of a friend now to us, and he has been very supportive and incredible throughout the process. I was moving from Ohio to Texas when the construction started around March this year. Despite Joe's busy schedule, he sent me photos of the construction every day until I moved to Texas to update the progress. Since I was the first-time homebuyer, Joe was helpful and gave many tips/suggestions for my upgrades. He was very supportive and helpful right from the contract till the closing. Surprisingly, Joe came with us to the Title company and ensured all the paperwork are ready for the closing, and he also took photos for our memories during closing. He definitively deserves a 10-star rating for all the help he did to us. Greg is like the fastest turbo engine. Once he starts the construction, he never stops for any reason. Despite all material delays due to Covid, Greg gave the house on time as promised. He is a big "No" guy for whatever you ask, but he gets things done the way you wanted. He accommodated all my requests with his limits. My kids love the Jr. Master bed, and they always keep saying Greg Uncle gave us a dream house. He also deserves a 10-star rating for all the help he did for us. Thank you, Greg and Joe!! Both are great assets to Shaddock!!! read more

We just completed our final walk through with Robert Durham this morning and words can't express how grateful we are for having him as our builder and Diane Horn as our sales Manager. Robert is probably one of the most responsive builders we have ever worked with and this is our third home built. I know I have reached out to him on weekends and even after hours and he has always graciously responded and put our concerns at ease. We live 10 minutes away from our shaddock home so we were in the house almost daily and giving Robert constant feedback, not once has he made us feel like we were bothering him. In fact, he would always tell us that he wants us to get what we want and be happy with our future home. He delivered on that promise and more! Since the first day we have spoken to him, we immediately knew this would be a wonderful experience for us. Robert has managed to make us feel like we were his only customers by always patiently listening to us and even a couple of times, talking us out of making some silly mistakes. We always felt that he had our best interest at heart and that gave us peace of mind that we will always be taken care of no matter what. Both Diane and Robert truly represent Shaddock's values and delivers on the company's promise to turn our dream of a new home into reality! We will be closing on our home tomorrow and we could not be more delighted and excited! Diane has always been wonderful to work with as well, very patient, very calm and has always offered her assistance to us every time we needed it. Our experience with Shaddock homes was absolutely fantastic! (Edgewood community)Karen in the sales office was so helpful and accommodating. I don't say this lightly, but their integrity was one of the biggest reasons we went with Shaddock. Every interaction we had, we walked away knowing we could trust what was discussed. One person who I really can't thank enough throughout this was Gregg, our Building Manager. That guy made the experience fun and exciting. He listened to what we had to say, provided us with some great feedback, and kept us up-to-date with everything that was going on. He was very professional, but made it seem like you're just talking with a good friend about something they're extremely knowledgeable about. Because of Gregg, I can absolutely trust that the quality of our home is something I won't have to worry about. I also wanted to make note that we started the construction of our home just before COVID hit. Once the foundation was poured, that's when the first shutdown started. It has been wonderful experience of our first home buying with Shaddock home team. Robert Durham, the Construction Manager for our home on Cornwall Court in Whitestone neighborhood, Parker, TX has been thorough, caring, attentive, and expertise at EVERYTHING. If he isn't 100% sure, he will make sure to himself reach out to the right person and keep us posted. We are very grateful with Mr Robert and seriously can't ask for a better construction manager anywhere else. Mr Robert knows inside out and he never missed any items we shared; he addressed them almost immediately to our surprise the next day we came back. He is a pro. He paid attention to all our concerns and made it great experience to share and ask questions w/o feeling like we are too OCD and bothering them. And once you're with him, you know he does his job with joy and love and treats it professionally and respectfully just like his own home. We had such a pleasant experience building with Shaddock Homes at Whitestone Estates in Parker. Everyone at this company is great! We were blessed to work with Richard at sales, Kristin at the Design Studio, and Robert as our construction manager. They are all so exceptional at what they do! It was great going to contract with Richard and all of the expertise and experience he possesses. He gave us such great advice that we would not know known otherwise. He knows everything about homes like the back of his hand. He is great! Thank you Richard!! The Design Studio with Kristin was such a breezy experience. Managing house construction is not at all easy, especially during the pandemic. But Greg Markovic never faltered in the process of building our beautiful home in Estates at Shaddock Park. He was extremely coherent throughout the process and communicated every small detail to make us feel rest assured. We've been in our dream home for about eight months now. We chose Shaddock Homes to build for us based upon reviews, reputation, and walks throughs. As anyone who has built a home knows, the process can either be a dream or a nightmare! Shaddock Homes went over and above to make this an absolute dream. Kelly, Kyle, and the latest addition to the Parker area team, Nate are the best. Kelly made the sales portion so enjoyable, and Kyle built an amazing house. Such attention to detail and pride in quality shows in every last detail of the house. But that's not to say that we didn't have issues! Every house...EVERY house is subject to unforeseen issues. And that's where the superstar of the Shaddock Team came in. Nate, their warranty specialist, has brought an extraordinary level of compassion and empathy to the process. We have had several issues (minor in the grand scheme of life, but still important to us at the moment) arise after move in. On each occasion, Nate has personally addressed the issue, and more importantly, has followed through with a plan of action. We started our home build process this year in August. From the beginning, our sales consultant, Kelly Dennis, has been very upfront and prompt about our choices and has worked very hard keeping us informed, on time, and on budget though the design process. Kelly has done an excellent job in setting expectations for each meeting and phase of our build. We haven't gone to a meeting where we were uninformed about what to expect. Our experience has been equally as good working with our design representative, Kristin Denney. She has a deep understanding of the products cts shaddock uses and has really helped us maximize our design budget to get some fantastic upgrades and maintain our budget. She was also great to bounce ideas off of since she has seen what some of the combinations look like in the houses. Her experience with the process was a great value for us. We are transitioning to the build process with great confidence that we are getting what we want, it will look amazing, and we aren't breaking our budget to have what we want. Both Kelly and Kristin have told us how great shaddock, as a company and builder, is to work for and with and it really shows. This was our first experience building a home. Greg Markovic could not have impressed us more. He is truly a gem! At every turn when we had questions, concerns, or wanted to make tweaks he met our wants and needs. Karen Roseboro is also a dream to work with. She is quick to respond and helped us get exactly what we wanted from the very start of our project. Many people talk about how long it takes to build a home, what a laborious process it is, how things always get delayed. These rumors couldn't be more wrong. Greg and Karen executed our build in a timely fashion ahead of the projected schedule. We were impressed and excited at every turn at how quickly things happened and the quality of the workmanship. There were several specifications we made throughout the process that required a little extra attention to details. Greg nailed it! In addition, they have been so helpful even after our move in date. They have followed up to make sure we are happy and love our home - which we absolutely do!! We signed our contract to build our home in May 30, 2020 and it was finished in 6 short months. 5 stars for James Atkins (warranty service/new builder) at the Tavolo Park community! However, before James joined the team, my realtor and I had a negative experience with Shaddock throughout the entire 1.5 year process. It started with from paperwork sitting at the previously employed sales manager's desk for 6 months, to failure of timely and honest communication about changes and shortages, to gaslighting us as clients whenever they were clearly in the wrong. After close, we first met James for warranty services and he's been a breath of fresh air. A great listener and problem solver, great communicator, and compassionate about what myself and other buyers went through before him. We're excited to have him in Tavolo helping us. Tavolo really needs his leadership to turn things around. On another note, the Design Center in Plano also deserves 5 stars. My consultant was Leslie Barnes and she was an absolute delight to work with. Other buyers I came to know also spoke highly of her. My wife and I closed on our Shaddock Home in 2019 and after closing we were assigned Michael Keglovits as our Shaddock home warranty representative. Over the past year which includes the COVID-19 pandemic, we have worked with Michael on several issues. First of all Michael has always worn his mask when talking with us and practices social distancing during our conversations. But what we really like about Michael is that he listens to our concerns and always stays in touch with us during the process of solving the issue. He has great suggestions, he is very polite and courteous, knowledgeable of the building industry and always follows through with every question or concern that we may have at the time. Every issue we have had has been addressed by Michael and has been solved to our satisfaction. We can count on him to answer our texts or phone calls in a timely manner. I know if I leave a phone message or text, I will always hear from Michael in short period of time. We are grateful Shaddock Homes assigned Michael to us. We bought a house from Shaddock in October of 2020. We loved the choices, options and neighborhood and it was an easy choice. 22 months later we finally moved in. I was a little surprised Shaddock wasn't a little more "urgent" in getting the house finished and collect their money...but it was still a GREAT experience. From Diane the sales person to Richard who replaced her (it was 22 months after all). Robert was the site lead/program manager and would ALWAYS be responsive. I'd send him a picture on Sunday afternoon and it would be fixed Monday morning. He is a true master and takes a LOT of pride in making you happy and doing it right. Can't say enough good about him...whatever they are paying him Shaddock should double it. The team was great and we love the house. Like all new houses there were a few bugs the first couple days but these type of issues are normal and the way Shaddock handled them was fantastic. Well built house with a great team. John Jay (JJ) has done an absolutely superb job as warranty manager for our Shaddock home (Fields 40s, Frisco) this past year. Since before we moved in, and even beyond our actual 1-year mark, JJ has been responsive, knowledgeable, helpful and professional in getting warranty items addressed and repaired. The minute we submit a work order request to the portal, JJ is on it, immediately arranging for a subcontractor to contact us. He frequently calls us himself to ensure that we've heard from the subcontractor. Then, along the way, JJ consistently keeps the communication flowing between us and the repair folks, ensuring the item gets expertly handled to our satisfaction. Despite having a very full plate, JJ takes a personal interest in any issue we bring him, and even helps us with advice and solutions for things that may not specifically be covered by the warranty. He often comes by to see for himself how things are progressing and he delivers outstanding results, every time. We are so thankful that JJ is on the Shaddock Team! read more
