I can remember being afraid at the dentist till I was about well 35 years old so I can only imagine how my 3 year old would do! But Children's Dental Center was the perfect spot to make him feel safe, and at home! This place rules every inch of the building just beams fun, from the waiting room, to the prize pick up spot! They have toys to play with, bright colored chairs, and kids movies playing! The front dest staff was super welcoming. Brittany the hygienist did a great job making my son Nilsson feel at home, letting him pick a movie to watch and doing a really good job making him feel like he was a part of the experience with all the choices being his! What flavor cleaner he wanted, and letting him feel brushes before they went into his mouth! He did a great job with her! The Dentist also came in with a smile and made Nils feel safe and that it was a fun experience! After he was done he gave Nilsson my son a big high five and told him to grab some tokens and pick out a prize from the prize wall.. Naturally he choose two bouncy balls, like we need more balls! We got a really great welcome pack with t-shirt, tooth brush, magnet, and more info on how to best treat Nilsson's growing teeth! What a great experience.. If I could give this place a 10 stars I would!

Service is terrible, my daughter had a tooth pulled and the numbing agent made the wrong part of her mouth numb, but was rebuffed when she complained about pain. She sobbed for hours after because it hurt so badly and no one cared, just yank and say it will be done soon. And the ortho side doesn't take our insurance...the old dentist was also orthodontist and was fully covered. Bad experiences most days. Would not recommend.

They have their own convenience in mind first patient second and parent last. If you have other children not being seen you have to have another adult watch them or leave them home. I had to add to this review because our experience when we left was even more terrible. The doctor went from one treatment room to my daughters without washing her hands and had the same face mask on. While my daughter was laying in the chair the lady helping the doctor sprayed a toxic chemical multiple times right in close proximity to her face. Within a foot. When I talked to the dr. about my issues she didn't want to hear it. She just kept saying she didn't do anything wrong. When I spoke to the office manager about my concerns they said that we could not return. I told her that treatment would likely be delayed if they did not finish the other half and they said they didn't care because we aren't a "good fit" for them. Be warned, unless you're a good girl and do what they tell you, you will not be able to come back and don't dare voice any concerns that you have to them.

I've switched so many times and received so many x-ray exams that I wouldn't be surprised if my teeth are glowing green by now (that's how x-rays work, right?). I'm so glad Country Club dental proved me wrong!! The front staff here is superb. They are friendly and available to answer questions. It has always been easy to schedule and reschedule my appointments. I also have not had any problems with them accepting my insurance. They even offer a membership plan so that you don't need insurance to have dental services here if you become a member! I was seen by Dr. Gray and his assistant Sammie. Both are absolutely fabulous. They are very friendly, funny, and personable. Two weeks ago I had a dental cleaning. Sammie was very gentle taking topical pictures of my teeth. I think there was another device used to detect the density of my teeth too. I was impressed (and never got this type of service in Chicago!). They really check for everything here! Dr. Gray thoroughly reviewed my teeth, X-rays, gum recession and density and photos of my teeth. I was really impressed with the examination and the technology used here. They really care about dental health. At the end of my appointment I was even given an option of a manual toothbrush or a sonicare type replacement head for my electric toothbrush. WHAT?!!? My mind was blown that I had these options! During my appointment I had mentioned that my Chicago dentist had recommended to fill cavities of two of my wisdom teeth and that I wanted to move forward with that procedure. I also mentioned that I was prescribed some special toothpaste to prevent further decay and wanted that refilled. Dr. Gray immediately called in the prescription to my pharmacy to refill the toothpaste and we scheduled another appointment for a cavity filling. Done and done! Today....two weeks later...I just got my two cavities filled and felt compelled to write this Yelp review for Dr Gray and his team at Country Club Dental (and these days I'm only writing reviews for those places that are truly special to me). I'm not the type of person that is usually scared of the dentist, but I was anxious today because of my small mouth and possible difficulty maneuvering within the small space. But they had all the tools necessary to make this experience SO EASY. My small mouth was not an issue at all and I did not feel any pain! I had to open my eyes every so often just to check if my mouth was still being worked on because I was so comfortable and didn't feel anything during the procedure! They also had a device (that amazed me because I never had it in Chicago) that allowed me to comfortably rest my mouth, while still keeping it open, and sucked up the particles/water in my mouth during the procedure. I'll be annoyed if Dr. Gray gets booked up because of this review but life isn't all about me so I'll be okay to share him and his team. ;-) I initially heard about Country Club dental from a friend who raved about Dr. Fung. I'm sure all the dentists here are wonderful but I'm sticking with Dr. Gray. =)

My son had a ton of cavities when he was a bit younger, and they did such a good job with him. The dentist even called us those nights my son had work done to check in and see how he was feeling.
