I'd rate it a 4.5 if it wasn't for the thievery they are now practicing on their customers... So, at the end of an always-enjoyable meal, instead of an itemized bill (which I believe is REQUIRED BY LAW), the waiter just presented a hand-held payment device stating NOTHING but the total. We demanded an itemized bill, which they took 5 minutes to create. Now, this itemized bill amount was a bit less, which could've been an honest mistake, but really, do they EVER make a mistake in the customer's favor? As normal, we leave a 20% pre-tax tip (one of the reasons why we needed the itemized bill), but when entering the credit card info, the machine "suggested" different tip amounts, and THERE is where the blatant scam occurrs! So, on a pre-tax bill of $78, what is 20%? It's $15.60. The post tax bill was something around 84.25, and 20% of THAT would be $16.85. But this hand-held "electronic grift machine" says that 20% is.....$21?? In what alternate universe is THIS possible? The obvious answer is that they are trying to scam people out of another $5, maybe $10, or even more! When did they decide to fleece their customers for petty increases? Do they think that fiscal dishonesty is a valid business model? Daheq are they THINKING?? Well, right now I'm filing a complaint with the NY State Attorney General's office. I'm disappointed, because I really liked the place despite it being located on a golf course, but it will be a cold day in hell when I'll give any business to a thief again! If anybody decides to eat there, DEMAND an itemized bill, and expect that they WILL try to fleece you.

We wanted to share a few calamari appetizers, but they were out. I opted for a French Fries basket. I think the best FF I have eaten in my life. My Chicken Milanese was excellent on a bed of arugula salad with shaved Parmesan and dried tomatoes. There is an extensive bar menu of wines, beers, cocktails. For dessert, we shared Chocolate Fanache & Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake. It is spotty, but there are young staff and we didn't mind. The atmosphere is surrounded by nature. How can one not like it?

This is a…read morebeautifully manicured golf course and members only club with a clubhouse and rooms for dinner and private events. Like a wedding, meetings or some sort of events. The colors are muted and the staff is pleasant and helpful. Food wise it's quite tasty... considering it's a 50-50 shot you don't have the best chef. If you like a good burger get the PCC Signature Burger (if you are not feeling the egg or bacon no worries you can substitute) also they ask you how you want it cooked a plus. They have soft drinks/coffee service and a bar so you can have some wine or a cocktail. A few things.. this is a PRIVATE CLUB. With that said a few things you should know. 1) like any good CC it's around a fairly residential area and the sign for the club is small. So keep a look out if this is your first visit. 2) Usually you are here due to a members invitation (or for some sort of event) 3) If you are here for Dinner/ Lunch (not a catered event) They add the 18% Gratuity to your bill and they ONLY TAKE CASH... why THEY ARE A PRIVATE CLUB. Do yourself a favor either bring cash or talk to your host/hostess prior to make arrangements. We were at a meeting and got an email stating we could pay with cash or a card. (Unfortunately that person had the wrong info.. it happens) . Luckily the person who had the meeting here is a member and she took care of it and we paid her back after the fact. It's got floor to ceiling windows and lovely views of the course. If you have an event you could really make it special and look fabulous. Yes they have parking and a lot it's a country club..duh.. Enjoy

I love this place! The staff was so kind, and while it was BUSY yesterday, people move in and out at a steady clip so we had no problem finding a tee to get set up on. Everything is really well maintained and there's ZERO pretentious vibes, which I really appreciated as a beginner. You don't have to wear a fancy outfit, sneakers are perfectly fine, and there's golfers of all levels and abilities. Really nice! They also offer classes, and I think we're going to take one of their group offerings over the summer. We went with a large bucket to split for $16, and got in about 40 minutes of golf fun. I think the prices are pretty reasonable and I appreciate the large parking lot. A lot of sales inside if you're looking for any kind of gear! Wearables, carts, clubs, AND they do club fittings. The shop itself is a little old school and run down, but so is golf, so it is on brand. I never thought I would find myself interested in golf (my parents are both big golfers) but I actually find myself really enjoying it. I am looking forward to continuing my golf journey and many more trips to Big Oaks in the future!

When I then told the pro shop that I would rather take a rain check for the back nine since we didn't have 6 hours to play golf I was told there was nothing they could do because it wasn't raining. That is really a poor reaction to a golf course that was overbooked on a Saturday morning with people new to the game.
