She was sitting nicely in a corner while I was getting my SMALL kratom tea, when the manager said that the cat was not allowed to be in there, saying that she was not clean and would spread disease. I asked if dogs were allowed to be in here and he responded saying yes dogs are allowed in here but he just took a class on cats & stated that they spread disease and they're not allowed to be in here. We paid $12 for a SMALL drink, which was extremely overpriced and felt horrible by how this man talked to us. We left nicely and other guests looked at us and apologized saying they have never heard of someone saying that before. We will never be coming back to support this location as well as any of the other locations due to this horrible experience.

Service was prompt and friendly, and the happy hour specials made it an even better value. I ordered the wing basket with 8 smoked wings and onion petals. The onion petals were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy remoulade sauce. For the wings, I tried both the Carolina Vinegar and the Hot Garlic flavors. The smoked wings themselves were outstanding, and the Hot Garlic sauce was especially memorable because it featured real garlic, which added incredible flavor. These are definitely wings I will come back for and highly recommend to anyone visiting. My partner ordered the BBQ pulled pork quesadillas with seasoned fries. The fries were more like freshly cut chips, nicely seasoned and delicious, and the quesadillas were excellent as well. Overall, Broken Barrel Tavern delivered great food, quick service, and a relaxed atmosphere. No more smoked wings or barbecue egg roll for this guy.
