She said I can try on anything and pointed to the mirrors. I kept looking at the prices trying to find something in my price range. She took the time to explain to me the difference between polarized vs nonpolarized, she even showed me a diagram that shows the difference between polarized vs nonpolarized. Although I wanted raybans, I didn't know they made nonpolarized versions. Overall, the lady was very attentive, nice and cordial. She gave me her opinions and told me the prices about it. I like the service here, I ended up buying a pair of polarized sunglases - very expensive but worth my purchase.

I went in to see George at my friend's behest, and, no exaggeration, my interaction with him truly brightened my day. He was friendly, helpful, and kind. He was able to lens my glasses for a very reasonable price, and I now have my dream glasses. All in all, this place is a real treasure - George is a pleasure to work with, their selection of glasses is great, and the pricing was very affordable. I've been getting glasses there for around 8 years. I have some sunglasses that I got from them ~6 years ago that seem better than my current prescription just because the lenses are SO much better (and my eyes get worse every year). They have options for lenses my eye drs office has never heard of. I made the mistake of getting my recent glasses online to save money- the focal point is on the wrong place and it's just not worth it. They also have the most amazing selection of frames high quality frames you can't get anywhere else. They can replace lenses in my grandmothers designer vintage frames. Most importantly, they are the most helpful, competent, kind, and lovely people. My eye dr made a huge mistake while I'm in a giant, very stressful, crunch to move states for my dream job- Lynn has gone above and beyond to explain all the ins and outs of starting progressives vs computer glasses vs work glasses. I'm a welder/designer/artist so I also do lots of computer work and that means 4 pairs of glasses. (Which is a lot, and stressful, when you haven't been able to get a job for years and have all the costs associated with moving. Which they've been willing to work with me on. I was not expecting that.) She recommended a Dr to get into see quickly for a second opinion and also assured me that the lenses are all under warranty so even if I move and need to mail them back to fix it they will make sure I get the correct lenses that I like. I've had multiple non elective eye surgeries. My migraines go nuts if my prescription isn't right. Bad blue light protection makes me feel uncomfortable. (You can't tell there's blue light protection on these at ALL.) None of this worried them- it made them want to help me get into good lenses and take care of my eyes. You only get one pair of eyes. I don't think it's worth risking them for cheap online glasses. It's also not worth the risk of losing local shops like this one. We only get one world. I agree with what they told me - we should all be trying to be kind and take care of each other, right now. Really, I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of glasses from anywhere else, ever, because it's better for my eyes and it's better for PEOPLE. My family lives in Phoneix so I fully plan to fly back and get new lenses/frames when needed. I want a world with more people and businesses like Sassy Glasses. This is a very stressful time for me and they've done more than anyone to make it all feel doable and to go above and beyond on my very short time line. (When I'm sure I'm a huge pain to deal with because I'm so stressed, too.) I cannot overstate how thankful I am for them and for their excellent customer service, quality product and attention to detail. When I get my glasses back I'll post pictures.

Came here last Thursday for a work event that I needed to pass out gift cards for. I had clients and work partners present, and everything was great until after I passed out the gift cards. I was trying on glasses with my work partners, who had asked me if the gift cards expired. Jelena took it upon herself to interject into my conversation and let them know it doesn't expire, and that I was in the wrong for telling my customers that we did not have to use the gift cards that day. To be clear- I understand there is a commission aspect to the job, however we purchased a total of 30 $200 gift cards from the store leading up to the event, and I came with 20 so that I could disperse out the other 10 as incentives for my work partners. Jelena was extremely hostile and rude to me in front of my partners, asking me "how I would feel if someone said that to me." She continued on and was being extremely rude and unprofessional to me in a public setting. She ensured that everyone that overheard her would not be returning to that location, let alone buying glasses from her. Most people DID use the gift cards that day, and there is absolutely no reason why she should have berated me in the store when I am not the event organizer or said anything that should upset her. I'm not going to lie to my clients and partners and tell them that they have to use it that day, because they don't. They received the gift cards as an incentive for coming and as a thank you. She was extremely rude and I know for a fact I will never be returning to that location or purchasing a pair of sunglasses from her.
