It had 3 sections. The bar was closed. But I can say that they had one. The seaters and greeters keep the flow going. The production was very enjoyable.

**I will never return to the Cumberland County Playhouse.**…read more My values do not align with an organization that allows or excuses discriminatory behavior toward individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). I recently spoke with a volunteer to inquire about tickets and show information. Once I mentioned that the individuals attending with me had IDD, the tone of the conversation shifted drastically. I was told that it would be "embarrassing" and "disruptive" to bring them to a mainstage production. The volunteer went on to suggest we instead attend a show in the smaller theater, stating that the handicap seating there was "up against a wall," and that the acoustics were so loud we "wouldn't cause a distraction." This kind of language and treatment is deeply offensive, unacceptable, and discriminatory. No person should be made to feel like an afterthought or a burden simply because they experience the world differently. If this volunteer's attitude reflects the values of the Cumberland County Playhouse, then it is not a place I can support. If it does **not**, I urge leadership to immediately address this issue and **retrain all volunteers** on how to respectfully and inclusively interact with guests of all abilities. People with IDD deserve access to art, culture, and community without being "tucked in a corner" or treated as less-than. ---

Bc of it's natural rock curves, visibility of the front stage is hit or miss, especially for the short girlies like me. Security and walking to the venue was easy. We stayed on the property in one of their yurts which made it all that more easy. They have large fields for camping on site too. Price point for the ticket felt a little up there but not terrible. And the Yurts were pricey but AC, running bathroom, very clean and cozy so can't complain. A couple of food trucks at the entrance and the doner kebab one was sooo good, we ordered from there twice in the night.

This can be a real pain at a lot of venues so having it go so smoothly here was nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Their friendliness stood out. It seemed like everyone I encountered really enjoyed working there and you love to see that. There were a few food options...a pizza truck and a bbq truck. I got the bbq and it was both delicious and reasonably priced. (Seriously get the bbq sandwich.) Another win. On top of all that, the venue itself was awesome. A big cave, sloped downward toward the stage so you could get a good view from anywhere, and the sound of the show was great. Overall this is a unique and interesting venue that's doing a lot of things right. Would go out of my way to return. Love it. 5 stars.

Also had fish with side of sweet potato fries. Serviced crispy as requested. Fish was good but not "pub worthy". Have high expectations. Started with giant pretzel. We were excited based off some of the reviews and pictures, but ended up disappointed. I kept trying to find reasons to make the visit better, but everything just fell flat. For starters, the staff wasn't attentive at all. The hostess went to sit us outside as requested, because it looked so relaxing from walking up, upon entering the outside, many people were smoking (cigs, not vape). I'd don't mind if people smoke, but I don't want to eat a meal with it lingering around. We then went back inside and they sat us in the corner by the drink station/kitchen. Throughout the meal, the waitresses gossiped about their lives and their customers while the table next us a waitress was wrapping silverware. Our waitress didn't arrive for like ten minutes and then took forever to bring our drinks back. The vibes were just all off. Like they all wanted to get out of there and not be around each other. It wasn't even late. The food was average, nothing spectacular. We got a burger and the fish and chips. For a traditional pub, fish and chips should be one of the best things on the menu, less than par. The beer cheese soup was a highlight. Very good. We also ordered some type of pear cheeseburger. Different, but not bad. I'd try something else if I were to return. The decor is traditional pub meets modern hipster vibes. Hard to screw up. Although, limited beer options. Only 4 drafts for a pub is kinda weird. The good news is there's a brewery next door. Like I said, I was optimistic and excited. I don't give a lot of bad reviews but this one didn't hit the mark. Considering there are many other options within walking distance, I'd try something else if I were you.
