So, just moving to East Tennessee we have really missed California breweries. That's the ONE thing CA got right. Until we found this little gem tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood. We decided to give it a try after a guy in a bar in Crossville raved over it. Glad we did. The place was big and the decor was fun. ( caddyshack theme) . But the best part ( besides the hospitality of the owners/brewers) was the beer! We tried Ales, stouts and IPAs. All were amazing. Not beginner beer at all. I've been to some breweries that have 4 to 6 different IPAs and they all taste like they came from the same batch with just different names. Swing on did not disappoint. All three IPAs were different and the New England IPA was one of the best New England IPAs, I've had in a while . Disk golf in the back. Golf simulator inside. We will definitely be back! read more

We've been to many states looking for great breweries and this one topped it! I'd highly recommend this to any one anywhere near the area. The people are friendly and they had potluck the Thursday when we went. The bonus was: No extra charge for that. I loved all the dogs. The beers were fantastic! I had a blueberry ale and my bf had the ipa after we both shared a flight of two IPAs, blueberry ale and Oktoberfest. The seating area inside and out were all great! Not a lack of space. Seriously, if you're nearby and love beer then give the place a try. You won't regret it. read more

Just there for their Octoberfest and what a blast. Fantastic micro brewery in a great location. The beers are awesome and the staff is the friendliest. The new tap house is amazing with plenty of seating, free pool table and golf simulator. The outside beer garden is really great with fire pit as well corn hole. Very family friendly and dogs welcome. read more

Swing On Brewing is down a country road called Potato Farm Road. Half the fun was the drive. Swing On Brewing is clean and airy. There is a pool table and a golf simulator. People and staff were friendly. Several people brought their dogs. Beer prices were lower than other locations. Periodically, they have food trucks. Swing on brewery is a great place to come for the evening for just a couple drinks and some live entertainment. They always have a great venue of up-and-coming professionals coming from Nashville, etc. Great set up for outdoor seating friendly staff. This place is a joke. It is mostly just a "locals" hang out bar. The beer prices are reasonable, but I arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night. They close at 8pm, and they advertise barbecue on their menu. So, I arrive at 6 pm (dinner time), and I was informed that their barbecue food truck trailer had already closed and was packed up, and leaving. So, I guess they only serve lunch. The server took my beer order, and left to spend the next 20 minutes counting her tips. I drank my beer, left the money on the counter, and left. So, we've been thinking about checking out Swing On for a while now. We were also planning on visiting the Lobster Dogs truck when it came to town next. Lucky for us, the truck was scheduled to be at Swing On both yesterday and today, so ventured out that way! So glad we did. The place is clean, inside and out. Big screens with the Golf Channel and Caddyshack playing. Golf simulator and pool table inside, 10-12 tables, long counter and long bar. Outside is a nice pergola with a fire pit and tables, corn hole game, seating scattered around with great views of the countryside. Super, super friendly patrons who introduce themselves and are happy to chit-chat. Super friendly and attentive staff taking orders, handing out popcorn, cleaning up and keeping an eye out for anything you might be needing. Great variety of beers (the Blueberry and the IPA's were our favorites) at a great price. They even fill or sell growlers. Plenty of parking, even with it being well attended. Oh, and Cooper, the bars mascot, is a fun little guy that loves to play catch! Will definitely be back. read more
