Last trip to a formal wear purveyor was their sister company Jos. A Bank just down the street from this store, and that was to buy a halfway respectable "interview suit" for a reasonable price. After all, there's always some sort of "sale" at these places. Didn't have worry about that here, as the attire package was all picked out by my buddy (or likely his fiancée lol). It was just a matter of getting measured and choosing a pickup location. Ángel helped me out and he was awesome. The store only had 1 other staff member inside and was surprisingly busy for a Thursday late morning- Angel advised that this is a very busy time for them. While I did have to wait a few minutes for help after my 11 am appointment, I understand. Between phone calls and several walk-ins, the staff are humans, not octopuses. Angel got everything done for me in 10-15 minutes max, even with multitasking: shoes fitted, pants, jacket, and you could tell he is an experienced professional. I'm lanky and he picked out the right stuff to try on, the first time! He also explained their policy about being able to get re-measured up to a month prior to the pickup time, and you can change pickup locations within 2 weeks of the pickup time. The price was nearly $250, not cheap and the only thing holding back 5 stars here. There's also a non-refundable $12 "damage & handling" fee, just call it nickel and diming and drop the euphemisms. Hey, that's the wedding racket for ya. It's all worth it for a friend, and I'm glad I got the great help from Angel. He made everything (aside from the cost) painless, and made me wonder why I put this off so long!

I was at Verizon yesterday and in the middle of my consultation on 5G, an oddly shaped bald man with a tape measure was fitting me for a suit. They couldn't survive WFH and their previous roster of eighteen Jersey stores have dwindled to a handful but in retrospect, I'll miss being assaulted by their all-too-eager salesforce upon entry and the ubiquitous buy two suits get seven free business model. Who needs seven suits when half the homebound workforce is still debating whether to shower seven times this month. Farewell Men's Wearhouse.

I went to Le Bella Donna looking for a dress during a Trunk Show in 2020. My first impression was…read moregreat--the store is beautiful and well-presented. However, the experience quickly went downhill. After browsing and not finding anything I liked, the salesperson insisted I try on five dresses she selected. None of them suited my style. I mentioned to my friend that I preferred a dress I'd seen at another store, and the salesperson overheard and asked to see a photo of it. After looking at the photo, she told me she could order the same dress for me. Since I was already there, I agreed. She took my measurements, and when I told her the specific color combination I wanted, she dismissed my choice and insisted on a different color, saying she knew what she was doing. I disagreed, but she assured me everything would be fine and the color combination she was ordering was the one I tried on the other s About a month later, while showing pictures to my sister-in-law, I found a photo of the dress tag and zoomed in--turns out, I was right. The color ordered was not what I had requested. I immediately emailed the salesperson, explaining the mistake and asking her to correct it, especially since the dress wouldn't be delivered for several more months. Then COVID hit. By the time the dress arrived and I went in to pick it up, it was still the wrong color. I told the salesperson, and she brought the owner into the dressing room. The owner assured me they would have the lining replaced by their seamstress to match the correct color. A couple of months later, I went back--but the dress was still wrong. I pointed it out again, and this time the store manager got involved. She insisted it was the correct color until I showed her a photo of what I had originally ordered. Only then did she admit it was wrong and promised to send it back to the designer. When I returned again, the dress had still not been corrected. I almost took it home out of sheer exhaustion--but decided to speak up again. The manager said she'd try one last time, but warned me the dress had been discontinued. At that point, I was devastated. I emailed and asked for a refund, as they had clearly failed to deliver what I paid for. Instead of apologizing, I received a rude email stating that I would now be charged $25 per week for storing the dress and should come pick it up. I responded that the dress wasn't being stored--it was still there because they never got it right. She then offered to ship it to me, but given their track record, I didn't trust them. Eventually, she scheduled a pickup, treating it like they were extremely busy--though the store was empty every single time I went in. After nearly three years, Le Bella Donna was unable to provide the dress I ordered in the color I asked for. I'm now stuck with a dress I never wanted. Thankfully, my wedding was postponed due to COVID, so I now have time to find a dress I actually love from a store that values its customers. Don't be fooled by the store's appearance. Once they have your money, customer service is gone. The staff is rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration.

She helped me narrow down on THE DRESS! The first day I went in I still had not clue of what I wanted in a dress, I knew for a fact what I did not want, and an idea of what I liked. Colleen listened to me and brought out plenty of dressed until I found the one. You know the dress you can't stop thinking about! Within a couple days I booked for a retrial at which point I knew said YES TO THE DRESS! Thank you so much Colleen for your help! Not only with my dress but also helping my mom pick her dress out to!

I am attending a wedding in November and planned on just wearing my old prom dress. From the moment I entered the store I was amazed at how beautiful all the gowns were! Yelitza immediately greeted me and went above and beyond helping me find beautiful options to wear. She was so kind and caring and really knew her stuff!!!!!! She assisted me with trying on 4 different dresses and I ended up going with the very first dress I tried on! It's funny because when I walked in the store she happen to have it in her hands putting it away! I instantly said hey that dress is beautiful and it happen to be my size and everything!!!! She even took photos of me in each gown so I could compare and contrast! Yelitza made my shopping experience extremely rewarding and fun! She even helped me look at jewelry to match and came up with great ideas for my hair and makeup. I can't thank her enough for the experience I had in the store.
