We only needed one tire and Yolonda and Mario worked with us to pick the right one and have it installed to continue our journey. They not only gave us a great deal due to our plight, they didn't try and upsell us on a complete set since the other 3 were still in great shape. I listened to them deal with other customers and they treated everyone with the same respect and caring they treated us. Mario also let me know of a program the State of New Mexico has to reimburse for destroyed tires and damage! I am going through the process now and it looks like we'll get the tire and hotel costs reimbursed. We never would have known of the program otherwise. I cannot say enough good things about A-J Tires, I wish they were closer as they'd get all my business. They are top-notch people with very fast service. More businesses could learn from them.

The folks at Goodyear were kind and understanding and sent a tow-truck to pick up my car. They had the starter replaced within a few hours. Then last week I had a very flat rear tire. I called Goodyear and was told to bring it in, which I did. I mentioned that I've recently had foot surgery and couldn't walk all the way home so a team-member drove me home (I live very close) and picked me up when my car was ready. We arrived at 8:15am. The guys up front banter as if they are in high school. Watch out for hidden costs. Ask for all costs and fees upfront. If you walk away for a bit to eat, make sure you call regularly. Bring head phones and an extra battery charger to watch a few movies. The TV is on junk shows and soaps. I felt tortured. What kind of choice is sitting in the sun or listening to Dr Phil blaring on the tube? Don't let these guys get a hold of your vehicle. So the one supreme saving grace of this place is the mechanic known as Harold. He is a suspension wizard. I will be back to have him replace some parts. If his team's repairs are as good as his diagnosis, I'll be singing high praises of the mechanic/technician side of the business.

They do outstanding tire work, they have knowledgeable mechanics on duty, and have a full service garage. Their labor rate is very reasonable too. Restaurants nearby to eat while your ride is getting fixed. They do outstanding service and customer service.

We were under the impression that they would install it when it got it, and yet again we had to wait till the next day. Next day arrives and they said it won't be done till 6 pm. We've been stuck in Gallup and had to stay 4 nights here already since pep boys won't help us in a timely manner. We have been dealing with them since Saturday and it is now Wednesday.
