The worst long wait time ever! The host was unorganized and rude. We told her many time that we want to sit on the bar whenever it's available and she ignored us. Another white lady came (local) she asked for bar for two and she got it! When we complained that we are here for almost an hour she said im sorry I didn't know...Lol...We literally told her many times! The only thing that I can say this place don't worth the wait time...Also be aware if you are not local or white dont even give yourself hard time to try this place. We are super disappointed... Me and my family were excited to try Shaggy's out especially since they seemed like they had good reviews. But we were pretty disappointed with our meal and overall experience. The service was good but our food wasn't amazing. We ordered the Seafood Platter and the fried green tomatoes and neither were what we hoped. We also had multiple dishes served to us that were visibly unclean and there were hairs on our table. We went to Shaggy's Pass Harbor the first night I was here on Monday. It was a little more crowded than it normally is on a Monday night in part due to Cruisin' the Coast. But that didn't matter. I had a great experience. I had the shrimp Alfredo, which was great. The only complaint I have was that they had not removed the tails from the shrimp. But no biggie. The service, food, drinks and desserts were amazing! Let me start off by saying, we came down to the area (staying in Bay Saint Louis) for vacation. DO NOT eat on that side of the bridge. 6/23/21 late dinner. Found this place on the Yelp app and gave it a shot. Arrived around 8:25pm immediately greeted by a very friendly hostess (posted hours closing at 9pm). I apologized for coming in so close to closing time, she quickly assured me it was no problem. I grabbed a seat at the bar (quite full considering the hour) and was immediately greeted with a smile from Brianna. I explained I was from out of town and asked for a couple recommendations. She did a wonderful job of pointing out a few local favorites, ultimately I went with the Redfish Bahama Grill. First time enjoying redfish, certainly not my last. This dish was deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection! Atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. Casual, beach themed, fun restaurant and bar. I am a big fan of Shaggys at Pass Harbor!! First of all, this Shaggy's sits up above the water and boasts gorgeous water views throughout! It's right on the water and convenient to plenty of parking. The building is bright and colorful and gives off a great beach vacation vibe. On my visit the staff were very friendly and efficient. I sat at the bar and had excellent service and a wonderful experience. I ordered a glass of wine which was on special for happy hour and settled on some oysters and tuna bites. The oysters were some of the biggest and tastiest I have ever had. They were delicious. That being said, the tuna bites are the real show stopper! I ordered mine rare and they came out perfectly! I loved the different seasonings and sauces available to compliment the bites and the seaweed salad was SO good!! I will definitely be back to this location! read more

SOLID food, decent craft beer selection, cheap and tasty happy hour margaritas, cheerful staff, and awesome beach front seating, whether "inside," the downstairs dock, or my favorite, the deck. There's no air conditioning, but fans and the gulf breeze will keep you cool on all but the worst summer days. I've had the shrimp platter both broiled and fried. Both tasted, rightly, like they were just pulled out of the water. The grouper taco was a single, huge fillet wrapped in a tortilla with citrusy slaw.
