During my ultrasound, the woman at the ultrasound facility told me that I needed to get an MRI of my pelvis because she saw cysts that indicated endometriosis. The PCP at SQ2 viewed the images and told me that I was fine and that nothing was wrong with me. I insisted (again) on the mri. After gaslighting and arguing with me for 15 minutes, he agreed. MRI confirmed endometriosis. Next appointment, he looked at me, smiled, and said "well when you hit menopause you won't have to be in all the pain anymore at least! You can look forward to that! You probably won't have kids though." He then started laughing. After telling this man that I had anorexia, he told me that I was overweight and needed to exercise. Then he said that I had bulemia (I've never made myself throw up). My fiancée went to him when he was sick with a viral illness. The "dr" prescribed him a ton of antibiotics. Literally the opposite of what you do for viral infections. He's the most misogynistic, unprofessional doctor I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. They also overcharged me $50 for my last appointment (3 months ago) and were supposed to send me a check to reimburse me. I moved to California and have called them 5 times over the past 3 months regarding the check. STILL haven't received it. But I did randomly get hit with a $256 bill from them. I called and asked what that was for and the woman has no idea. Stay far away from this place if you care about your health and/or your wallet.

He also gave me a B12 injection due to extreme fatigue to see if it could help in the meantime. He put a care plan together for me and we will await results. I'm overall confident that he will get me some kind of answers on what I can do to lessen my symptoms. For my appointment to have been scheduled FOR MONTHS to it JUST NOW being addressed is completely UNACCEPTABLE. At the very least I could have been rescheduled or notified prior to this last minute indecency. This is by far the worse experience I've had with anyone representing Advent Health and it's completely unprofessional. After months of waiting, I have now been turned away. No consideration and no concern for a patient that has been waiting for YOU, Dr. Parker, specifically. What a horrible way to be treated. I am thoroughly disappointed. I need not have been worried Dr. Demery is aces! He is well-informed, affable, and very attentive, as I'm happy to report, is everyone I've encountered at the practice. The practice is easy to get a hold of and communicates well in-person, over the phone, and through their app. (‍ I swear I'm not using a chatbot but realized I may sound like one having just given three qualities in a row. ) The office is conveniently located off of Linebaugh on Wilsky, the latter of which streets puts you right on the Veterans Memorial Highway. Plenty of parking. A big convenience store is next door if you have a hankering for something before you head home. Pro tip: if you have been a good patient AND ask politely, I hear they will let you pick out a sticker as you leave the office.

He always spends a lot of time talking through things with me, even when I feel like I'm the one who's in a rush to get the kids back to school. I also appreciate how good he seems about remembering children and their families. I feel like we are more than a chart to him. My younger son was bouncing all over the wall when we had our appointment, Dr. B did a great job redirecting his attention and making sure he did a thorough exam. I also find it very easy to get same-day sick appointments when needed. We may not always see Dr. B when we need one immediately, but I found all of the staff there is fantastic. They actually never seem super busy, which is nice. It means that your child is probably in the waiting room by themselves playing or with one other child. I appreciate how they have a child's waiting room and an adult waiting room, because I also come to this practice and see NP Ritchie. Overall we've always had a very positive experience here. They've also improved their wait times so I never feel like I'm waiting long. Everyone we interact with is always kind and professional from the front staff to the doctors. I would highly recommend come here.
