Came here about a week ago and picked up fresh hamburger Pattie's. They' looked dark in color…read morewhich is not normally a good sign but I thought I would give them a try and picked up three. I picked them up on a Saturday to eat on Sunday. On Sunday when I opened the package I was met with the smell I feared I may. It's like meat you buy at a grocery store that is on the sale by date and usually get for a discount. The meat is not spoiled but has an off taste to it. That's how these smelled and sadly tasted. I sent an email to the store and they apologized and offered me free replacements. I went back and when o got to the meat counter the Pattie's were a bright red. I was excited. I brought these home and cooked them and they are absolutely amazing. I believe they were 10.99 a pound which for the quality of the beef, it's not much more than a grocery store. The grind on these Pattie's were absolutely amazing. Best texture for a hamburger I ever had. The flavor is excellent as well. These are grass fed and grain finished beef and have a different and different flavor than standard grocery store beef which is normally fed straight grain. I highly recommend this butcher shop. They also have great looking steaks which again are a bit more than grocery store steaks but the flavor difference of grass fed beef is worth it.

A favorite butcher shop, complete with locally sourced meats and gourmet snacks and sides. Quality…read moreis top-notch. Minor critiques: Not as responsive on specialty orders as I'd like, and often doesn't carry the tougher cuts that are needed for some recipes. Otherwise, well worth the trip!

This is my Togo place for veal and beef, I always come with my friends and family and get one veal…read moreor beef slaughtered. It's awesome you can choose and they will slaughter in halal way and split it in whatever portion you want. Sameer is a nice and professional guy who is very helpful. I would recommend this place for those who really need any type of animals, such as lamb, veal and beef. If you want tasty and fresh meat this is the place for you

Assalamu Alaykum,…read more Today, Eid ul Adha 2020, was my first experience trying to do slaughter. My intentions were sincere and Allah knows best. I am posting this review in my disappointment and possibly helping others. I decided at the last minute to do this so it was my fault for not researching. I went to Halalco in Falls Church then I went o Lebanese Butcher down the road. I paid 300 for the slaughter and opted to go to the slaughterhouse rather just picking up the meat at the store. I wanted to try to follow the Sunnah as best as I can and take responsibility of the process. I am extremely glad I did and know I know better. Many of us just pick our meat at the store and are not even concerned of the process. This slaughterhouse, at least on the day I went, was bad in so many ways. I wanted to give my two older boys some insight. When we got there this place looked so dirty. It had just rained so the place was really muddy. After parking and stepping over dead animal remains full of maggots smelling extremely bad we walked over to the ticket counter. With our ticket we walked over to the corral. Everyone was in line starting at 7:45am but never got moving until about 9:30am. Already that upset everyone. I went in by myself and I saw cows looking sick, boney, and malnutriciet. The lamb and goats were also the same was and every animal seemed they have been rolling around in the dirt/mud. Getting into the corral with all the goats was a challenge trying to capture a goat by its horns and drag it to the slaughter area. There was a dead goat in that area too. After getting my goat to the actual slaughter the brother asked me if I wan to cut and as soon as I said no he immediately cut the goat. This was alarming because other living goats were in the same area and (I am not professional) but the cut he made did not cut deep enough to sever the required veins. I left and got back to the other side and waited a couple more hours to get my meat. I had multiple conversations with brother who felt disgusted in the manner of the slaughter house and mirrored by experience. Alhamdolliah, I had a conversation with a brother who advised me not to cut the meat here and take it to a local butcher. They were cutting very sloppy large pieces. I paid extra for small pieces. So, I asked for my whole goat and took it elsewhere. Another brother said this place has not changed since the few decades its been opened. I also had conversations with a worker and he did not have anything positive to say. I really wanted to distance myself from this place and told my kids this is a lessoned learned. My advise to those who are interested in following the Sunnah. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY UPSET! I took everything as a huge lesson learned so I do not have to repeat it next time. Next year inshaAllah I am going to find an Amish farm that does it the right way, animals who are in pastures, grass fed, and definitely more humanely treated.

You can get hanger steak, Wagyu, Denver, steak, fresh from the farm lamb tenderloin, fresh from the ranch pork chops that taste completely different... I really appreciate the customer service here as well , the guys are always very friendly and in a good mood . The other important thing here is that you can get very fresh fish, from Icelandic Arctic char to the best tasting Samaan around.
