First visit at a Shake Shack, frankly it was pretty underwhelming. The boneless baby back rib sandwich was much smaller than expected for a seemingly premium sandwich. It would have been better if it had sauce on more than half of the sandwich and if it had the pickles shown in the photo. The ginger ale was weak, even for Seagrams. I just experienced the worst service from the manager of Shake Shack at Mountain View Villiage. Around 6:30 on May 13, my daughter and I were sitting outside waiting for our food. We could hear a duck that sounded like it was in distress and we went to check it out. There was a duck standing over a gutter and her ducklings fell down in and could not get out. It was too deep for us to reach them, and so we asked the manager if we could borrow a broom so the ducklings could climb up on it. She said "No, It's a safety violation". I said " I just want to borrow the broom for like five minutes or you could come out with me". Same response. For the next 45 minutes, my daughter and I found anyone who could help us. A nice young woman actually jumped down inside the gutter that was about 5 feet deep. My daughter started asking anyone she saw if they had a net, and someone actually did and let us borrow it. Together we proceeded to save each duckling. There were eight. Once finished, we walked back in the Shake Shack to get a bag to take our food home to heat up. Not one word from the manager, nothing. I think this would be a good opportunity for the leaders of Shake Shack to teach empathy and compassion to their employees. It wasn't that the manager was rude, she just came across as not caring. The least she could've done is when she saw me at the counter is to come up and ask about the ducks. But nothing. read more

Shake shack used to be so good and dependable. The change from fresh nuggets to frozen ones was a horrible choice. This will be our last time going after they opted for frozen and higher profits than fresh and delicious. read more

This is the best Shake Shack I've ever been to! The manager and all the employees are so kind and helpful. It's our favorite place to eat in Salt Lake City. We always have an amazing experience here and feel very taken care of. read more

The avocado bacon burger was quite good but the price for the combo ($19) is outrageous. I hope that money is going to the employees and not shake shack. Bonus star for noticing my pupper and giving her a treat. that was charming. alas though the burger to me seemed very small. read more

Here to update my review! I haven't tried it yet after the last time. But what I can update is customer service! Talked with the employees they are super helpful! The manager reached out to me and did what they could to make things right while being super understanding, kind, bubbly and supportive. They are very quick to help as well! I will be back to try the food and give it another shot! Shake shack truly does value their customers! If the food quality doesn't match the price they will make it right because they know they have quality food and service. read more

First time at the Riverton location. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. They said the food is made fresh when ordering. Our order arrived in about three minutes. My wife's hot dog had been microwaved to reheat it. Was like eating rubber. The fries had been refried and were not fresh. My burger was ok, but not real hot. Probably had been reheated also. This place was deserted on a Sunday evening. My review for the Sandy location said the fries weren't great so I didn't order any. My son got fries, a cookies and cream shake, and a double shackburger. I got a black & white shake and a gluten free bun on a shackburger. I tried one of my son's fries... and it was so good! Dang it! Is this location better or can they just do a better job when they have no other customers?? I loved the meat on my burger. The bun was dry but you know... gluten-free buns at burger places are hit and miss and it was still better than a lettuce wrap would have been. And I loved my black and white shake- I used to work at an ice cream place and I always loved blending hot fudge into the vanilla shake base! My son loved all his food too. I'm incredibly impressed with this location. My husband works in the restaurant industry, so I recognize when a place truly cares about its customers. After we ordered, our food was delivered promptly, and we were asked if we needed anything. Later, another employee checked on us to ensure we were happy with our meal and see if they could assist further. The service was attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. First time ever going. Staff wasn't super friendly. Paid 15.77 for a single shack burger, classic fries, and a large coke. All has to be paid separately as they don't do meals. The burger is about the size of a cheeseburger from McDonald. Yes it is fresher but for the price... The whole experience reminds me of In 'N' out. I don't think I would go back maybe to In'N 'out as the food and experience is the same but cheaper. read more

Well, I lost my shake shack virginity today. And I was not impressed. I know this will ruffle a few feathers but for the price of the food it is not worth it! The sizes of the burgers were basically the size of a Wendy's burger and not to far off from the taste too. They were very small the fries were fine well. We got the regular and the spicy and the spicy ones were my favorite. We also got a large coke and a small Apple Kiwi caffeinated lemonade. The service was pleasant, drive thru was clean and well maintained the menu was easy to read. I don't know if I would ever go back based on the food portions. We paid nearly $40 for 2 meals. Every thing is ala cart so you can't get a combo. So I think that's how they get cha. There was 6 packaging things for 4 items, one for each burger and fry, a thing to hold the combos, and then the bag to put everything in plus our 2 drinks and 2 fry sauce. So tons of waste and plastic so if you are one who doesn't like that don't go here :) read more

Missed the bacon on my burger..but most importantly..what's with the nearly empty fry sauce cups? If waste is the concern you're probably spending more on the additional cups than the fry sauce people may not be using as I had to get 6 more than I usually would for my kids and I. For the price you pay here for one burger & fries I can't imagine your profit margins are hurting so much that you need to barely fill the fry sauce cups. Ridiculous. read more

The food is always amazing, they had their grand opening on 9/11 had to stop by because they have a drive thru. Everything was good , hamburgers, the chicken nuggets the chicken sandwich and Fries. The service was quick for how busy it was . I love coming here. The ambiance, one of my favorite fast food. I'm so happy they have a drive thru. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night and ordered the cookies and cream shake, there was a small piece of black rubber that came up through my straw. Yikes! Other than that their shakes are amazing, I would argue better than inn and out. I really like their shroom burger, however it feels pretty small sometimes. Their manager, Brandon, is very kind and awesome. Their food is a tad pricey though. read more

The service is great and the food is good. I wish they had salad options instead of fries though, trying to make things a little healthier.
