Located in Terminal B near gate B5, the location is near Corner Brew Pub. There was no wait. The cashier was friendly and upbeat. I ordered a smashchicken sandwich, rosemary fries, and a soda for about $16. The food was made fresh, tasted great, and was incredibly satisfying. The counter was clean, there was a small table for seating, and there's a restroom right across the hall. read more

When I first looked at the menu, I saw that most the burgers are in the $10 range, and I was pleasantly surprised by this. Considering that's nearly the cost of going to get food at a fast food restaurant. However, when I got the burger, both the size and appearance of it was quite underwhelming. The burger was quite small and looked slapped together. Fortunately however, I surprised by the flavor! There was a lot of seasoning the in the burger, and despite its small size, the patty itself was actually pretty thick. All in all, a solid 7 or 8/10 burger. I also got an Oreo shake, and honestly for a place called "shake shack" I'd expect the best shake I've ever had. It wasn't bad by any means, but I've had better read more

I recommend the shroom burger as one its more nutritious near midnight snacks before boarding a plane at 11PM. The ambiance is very clean and organized like the rest of SLC's airport. Service could have been a little more prompt. Overall, I appreciate that it was open later than most shops in SLC's airport. read more

Seems there are a lot of negative reviews here but I had a good experience. Shake Shack is one of the more reliable airport foods imo. Yes there were long lines and pricing may be a little bit more than usual but these things are expected considering it's at an airport! Ordered the shroom burger and fries. Came out pretty quick. Went to the bathroom to wash our hands right after ordering and it was ready. First time trying a shroom burger and it was delicious (and I'm not vegetarian). The fried patty was filled with juicy mushrooms and stretchy cheese. SO GOOD. Fries were ok lol filled the craving. Crinkle cut fries aren't our preferred type of fry anyway. read more

So, maybe if I'd ordered the right thing (a SHAKE), I may have rated this higher. But, I try not to do shakes at all, so I ordered a burger. Had to try them out since there are no Shake Shacks where I'm from. I ordered the Smoked Shack burger and it was delicious. Not sure if it was really worth the price paid, but I get the feeling that Shake Shacks aren't the cheapest burger places. AND, it was in an airport, so there's THAT. Came here after my long flight starving and paid $13 for a chicken sandwich that was smaller than the palm of my hand, the fry basket was extremely small as well and not filled for a "basket". This is the type of meal you order from the kids menu. Paid $13 and I didn't even get a drink. Then when I got home I threw up everything, and now I'm sick with food poisoning. The employees seem nice and the area can get busy but I do not recommend this specific meal. read more

I was starving after a long early morning flight and really wanted a burger, so Shake Shack it was. There's always a line here, but it moved pretty quickly. We got a double shackburger, a double shackburger with bacon, and cheese fries. You get a buzzer to hold on to while you wait until your food is ready. I waited in line for less than 10 minutes and then waited for food for about 5 minutes. The double shackburger is Shake Shack's version of a double cheeseburger. It's got lettuce, tomato, double patties, double cheese, buttered buns, and of course, their Shack sauce (a mixture of ketchup, mayo, and mustard). I normally enjoy shackburgers as is, but a double shackburger when you're ravenous is something to be experienced. The burger is very soft and very juicy. The cheese fries were sooo good and hit the spot. Love the thick cheese dip and crispy, salty, crinkle-cut fries. The fries were heavenly on their own, but I'm a cheese lover and I need my cheese sauce. 10/10 would eat again for brekkie. read more

This is the shake shack that's pass the security screening. They have a smaller menu than normal but what I got tasted the same. Shack burger with fries and a shake. No complaints from me. They make it fresh like any other location. Seating isn't as nice because it's the airport but not their fault. read more

After coming into the Salt Lake City airport for three hour layover we decided to grab a snack and headed to Shake shack. At Shake shack we all ordered a few burgers and fries. I particularly got the shrimp burger which is fried mushrooms with cheese patty and a regular burger. I honestly was very surprised and really like this that it was very nice. The line was super long though so it was quite a wait but as expected in the airport this is something I would keep in mind. I have a fillable drinks which is nice but you do have to wait a little bit since you might have to wait in the front where orders are coming out. They have a food court seating so that was nice as well as outlet chargers to charge up your electronic devices. Overall area was pretty nice and if you have a long layover or I wanted to grab a snack Shake shack is a place to go. read more

TLDR: Delivers the Shack goods well enough. It's an airport location so as expected - there are quality issues with crowds, quality, and prices. But as far as providing the taste of Shack Shack it totally did that. I really wanted to like this place. It is super cute and very busy so I assumed it was going to be great. Unfortunately, the food was so incredibly salty I could barely taste anything. The burger was lacking, and the fries were dry. The lemonade was super sour. Even the sauce was just like a lightly seasoned mayo. If you're in the mood for a really good burger, I don't recommend this place. read more

Traveling out of state so we decided to venture to this new location of Shake Shack. First time actually having Shake Shack - EVER. This airport location is probably not the best first time experience for a hamburger lover. Even though the lines has social distancing stickers on the floor, not everyone followed. The employee who took our order was friendly, but didn't exactly get our order right. Asked for onions in burger, no onions. I got the Shack Stack which is a cheeseburger, topped with the shroom burger. It was pretty tasty, but the shack sauce was lacking (meaning they didn't put enough for me to notice there was some kind of sauce in the burger. The hot dog was sliced in half, grilled, and served on a bun. The crinkle fries were just OK, bland, and can tell they don't use the best potatoes as some fries have dark spots in it. Their chocolate custard was however, fantastic, with a subtle hint of coconut after every bite. The seating area was definitely needing improvement, in a sense that no one actively cleaned tables. Wet spot on the floor that someone can slip/injure themselves on. The tables and chairs were not sanitized or cleaned by anyone after each use. Best bet is to take your food somewhere else and eat there as it would probably be a cleaner area. read more

We were at the airport and decided to try it here, as we're huge Shake Shack fans and have never been to this location before... and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the Mushroom Burger, Cheese Fries, and Strawberry Milkshake. Everything was super yummy (especially the cheese on the cheese fries), and the customer service was very friendly as well. The only negative thing would be their menu size, which is smaller than other Shake Skacks I've seen. All in all, we'll definitely be back. read more

Bottom line: make sure you have some time on your hands before you order. The burger was average and the wait is long. Must purchase your drink separately. Service: average. They have two registers but only had one working the entire time. If you have a quick connection or running short on time- recommend you go elsewhere. Food: meh. The cheeseburger was ok but nothing really to write home about. The crinkle fries were decent but again, nothing really remarkable than those you would buy and cook out of a supermarket bag. Overall: the experience + food was average at best. I think I liked the "idea" of Shake Shack and was chasing a distant memory of how good it was. Stopped by here during a long layover on a Saturday night. The line wasn't long to order wasn't long, but I could tell the wait time for the food would take some time. I ordered the Shake Stack and Cheese Fries, which took about 15 minutes to be done. There's a large dining area right in front of it, so seats were plentiful. I've had Shake Shack back at home and the quality here was pretty consistent. The burger was great and they put the cheese in a small salsa cup separate from fries (I didn't request that). All in all, pretty solid burger joint if you're looking for a place to relax while waiting for your flight. read more

Great service! Accidentally ordered mobile for the airport location. Unfortunately the airport doesn't have mobile, but they made out gluten free burgers free of charge even though it was my mistake and I was more than willing to order again. My kiddo said the burger is delicious. It's crispy on the top and soft on the bottom. Great first shake shack experience. read more

Much of the new airport is complete, but what is still lacking is the variety and volume of eateries. There are a bunch of places that say "coming soon" with the promise of more food. But the Shake Shack was open and ready for business. The menu mirrors most of what you find at their regular stores-with the exception of combos. Everything is done a la carte, so don't expect to save a few coins by ordering in a combo. We ordered two burgers, an order of fries to share, a soft drink and a bottle of water-the total came out to $25 and change. Felt a little steep, but that's almost to be expected at the airport. Although I swear I read an article stating that all restaurants in the airport would be required to charge street pricing, not increased pricing. Maybe those prices match the a la carte and they purposefully left out the combo pricing to get around that little rule. read more

Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. Why not cause everyone gets it with creamer right? I waited about 10 mins, which isn't bad considering the amount of people. She called my name and had 3 other drinks with her. I asked her if the one she was handing me was with oatmilk , and she says "well that's what you ordered right" I tried it and it wasn't oatmilk. I brought it up to her attention and she kinda just said "sorry" and that was all....unfortunately, I can't say it was the best service. If I decide to come back next time, I'll only get straight matcha instead of a latte just to try again. The matcha didn't have a strong taste to it. It was on the watery side. Today I ordered the matcha ube shaved ice and the cherry blossom latte (I had them make mine using coconut milk). I ate the shaved ice at the cafe and took the cherry blossom latte to go because I wanted to drink it later. They put it in a cute bag! Since it was my first visit there I wanted to try the ube and matcha separately, so for the shaved ice I ordered matcha shaved ice on the bottom, followed by the matcha soft serve and then the ube soft serve on top of that. Next time I order the shaved ice, I think I will most likely have the matcha shaved ice with the matcha/ube twist soft serve on top now that I know how each one tastes on their own. I also would do matcha shaved ice with just the ube soft serve on top. Or maybe ube shaved ice with matcha soft serve on top. The matcha was tasty, and like other reviewers have said, you can tell it's good quality matcha. I really enjoyed the ube, it was very yummy to me. I think for my next visit I'm going to try the ube parfait. The cherry blossom latte was good. I got the sweetened version (it was lightly sweetened not super sweet, which I liked). I didn't want something super sweet. It didn't/doesn't have matcha in it. That was fine with me because I wanted to save it for later and didn't want to have caffeine later in the day. I do think it would taste good with matcha in it though. Overall I enjoyed this cafe. I look forward to trying more items. As of right now the other things I want to try are the ube parfait, the shaved ice again, the warabimochi, the hojicha yuzu latte, and the strawberry matcha latte. If you like matcha and/or ube, I would definitely recommend checking out Matcha Café Kyoto. I know I will be again. Support a local business so that they are able to stay around for us to enjoy.

A few times I hovered close to him and tried to find an opening to ask him some questions about the products, but he was busy with other guests. As for the history of the business, there are enough newspaper clippings and articles on the walls to keep anyone occupied while waiting. Most of the staff appeared to be high school- or younger college-aged employees handling the day-to-day operations. The ice cream isn't made in-house (it's Farr's brand), so this review is more about the experience than the product itself. The serving size was fair, and I opted for the spumoni. Yes, really, spumoni. Three other people in our group between their twenties and forties had never even heard of the flavor before. The ice cream is scooped from a mixed single barrel rather than barrel with separated sections, so the chocolate, pistachio, and cherry had blended together. It was kind of like putting different sodas into the same cup. While I enjoy ice cream and these flavors, others might not think the same. The standout items for me were the chocolates. The bourbon chocolate came with a huge flavor punch. It was rich, bold, and intense enough that I needed a break and a glass of water afterward. It's not for the faint of heart and you need to be serious about chocolates to have an appreciation for this one. The marzipan, on the other hand, was a perfect follow-up. Not to sweet, balanced, and a very nice almond flavor. It was delicious and served as a nice palate refresher after the bourbon's performance. Between the chocolates and the owner's visible presence this was an enjoyable stop. The chocolates were easily the stars of the visit and worth it if you're in the area.

I went with the mega pork ramen and added black garlic oil, while my husband went with the tan tan men. While we waited, we watched as several other parties also arrived for a late dinner. Even though there was only one server, she was quite efficient. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive, and we were eager to dig in. We asked for chili powder on the side, which our server was a little confused about, but finally understood and brought us some in a little dish. I was a little surprised they didn't have the powder at each table like at other ramen restaurants I've been to. I immediately noticed the layer of oil (not the black garlic oil, the red oil) on top of both of our ramen. It was thicker than I would have liked, but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and mixed it in with the rest of the broth. The flavor of the broth was fine. It was decent if this was your first experience with ramen, but as someone who has had plenty of top tier ramen spots in the Bay Area and Sacramento, the broth wasn't memorable. Honestly, the layer of oil was also what threw the balance off. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and the meat was tender. My favorite cut was the pulled pork chashu. The egg was yolky but not as seasoned as a proper ajitama should have been. My husband had similar remarks about his tan tan men, but at least we agreed that both of our bowls, while not spectacular, were consistent and cohesive as dishes.
