Went here for a nice dessert to end date night. We ordered the honeydew melon boba, biscoff taiyaki, custard taiyaki, & a blossom cake crepe. Staff will wait for you to ring the bell to order. They have a board which shows how long it will take to get more labor intensive items such as the pancakes. It is a busy spot with limited parking & the sign can be tough to spot as it's sandwiched between 2 other places. We waited about 10 minutes for the cashier to come out from the kitchen, even after ringing the bell twice. I didn't have time for three more groups to take 10 minutes playing with the cool kiosk. Having a second one or an employee you could order from would be very helpful. I could see employees in the kitchen but they paid no attention to the line forming. When they were asked a question about inventory of an item, they were not friendly. So lucky such a nice jp style cafe is right downtown! There was only two or three people working at such a busy place but customers were generally patient and kind. We started with the passionfruit panna cotta bunny which was the perfect little size and tasty. Then the ube taiyakis came out before the sodas. The waffle was soft and had just a few crispier parts. The filling was good but I would probably get a red bean one next time. I got a Peachee blush soda but it was less rose than I would prefer. It was mostly a strawberry candy flavor. The ube pancakes took about 30 min (which was expected cuz it was on a sign and the waitstaff warned about it) and they were so soft and not too sweet. Totally worth it. I'm not a big sweets person but this was definitely a good cafe to add to my regular spots. It lifted my spirits on this hot tiring day. My sister and I saw this place on social media and wanted to go try it! We took our family to downtown SLC just to try this dessert place. When we first walked in there was a small cluster of people at the door waiting in line to order at the kiosks. They had a small display with the desserts you could see as well by the kiosks which helped when trying to figure out what we. They have a couple small cheesecake options, a waffle type dessert, and multiple flavors of crepe cake, which seems like a bunch of crepes put together to make a cake. We got the Mango Crepe Cake slice which was an 7/10, the passion fruit crepe cake slice which was a 10/10 for me, cookies and cream crepe cake slice which was a 3/10 for most of my family due to the lack of flavor, the passion fruit cheesecake another 10/10 for me and then my parents got a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a chocolate ice cream that I forgot the name of. The desserts came out pretty quickly. Our longest wait was waiting to order on the kiosk. Overall my dad said he'd never go back due to the lack of flavor for him, my mom gave it a 6/10, one sister gave it a 8/10, the other sister a 7/10 and I give it an 8/10.
