Had fair expectations for this place. The ordering process for this place is alittle too complicated. The tablet you order on wouldn't let me add a cold brew to my cart so it was confusing. There was only one worker, a grumpy young lady, who took forever to make the food by herself. Her attitude was beyond rude in ways that screamed "horrible customer service." I met Rebecca at the Arc location and she took the time to get my overnight oats order perfect and even added extra banana. Shake Smart is delicious, healthy, and convenient. There are a variety of shakes from fruity to milkshakes to a combination of both that all taste great. I can now get my Shake in right after my workout and not have to stress trying to get the right nutrients in so my body can recover with the convenient location of right outside of the ARC. I use to come here a lot my freshman and sophomore year and it had been a while (2 years) and so when I went, I wanted a meal replacement so I they suggested the Breakfast 2 Go and it was just as good as before. I've had their Acai bowls and fruitopia. Everything really smooth but filling & great for post workout. I came this morning at your SDSU Aztec Union branch expressing need for no added sugar in my breakfast due to health condition. I asked if you guys had cacao nibs to put in my bowl of oatmeal and your staff said you did but served me a melted chocolate bar in my oatmeal. I also expressed I was vegan and I am disappointed that even though your staff was not busy, my nutritional needs were not met. I had already made my way all the way to the library by the time I noticed there was melted chocolate in my oatmeal. Please train your staff to provide accurate orders and nourishing foods. Have you considered having a Registered Dietitian evaluate your recipes? As a nutrition professional, I noticed your business has a lot of health claims but there is a lot of added sugar in most if not all the shakes and recipes, which is why I opted for oatmeal. Just because a meal has healthy ingredients doesn't mean the meal is healthful. What is that of putting candy in oatmeal? I paid $5 for an oatmeal bowl that ended in the trash. read more

i go to the stand outside the ARC almost everyday after my workout. super sick concept for a food place and overall really easy to navigate through what you want, whether thats a pre or post workout shake, just for lunch or even dessert! super healthy even more yummy. it is on a college campus so prices are a bit high, and that also comes with a grumpy staff. understandabley, they are stressed, but some friendliness might roll in even more customers. depending on the day my smoothies are often filled at the bottom with about an inch of ice chunks, which is okay but id rather it be an inch of smoothie. read more
