Ordered two açai prima bowls they were absolutely perfect. The presentation was beautiful and all of the fruit, the blueberries banana, and strawberries all fresh and delicious. Went here numerous times to get a peanut butter mood and all the times I went it's always messed up, the workers are lazy and careless with the orders it's insane how many times I've went and had to ask for it to be redone. I just got one as well and didn't fast e before getting home and behold it's overwhelmed with banana. I know it's not supposed to be like this since everytime I go to the location in Del Mar it's so good which is what makes me keep going back. Conclusion is the workers are just lazy and can't get stuff done right it's so annoying and such a waste of money with their prices being raised. This location in San Diego was so convenient for us as we drove down from the IE and it was on our way. Service was fast, there's a nice outdoor seating area with tables and umbrellas and the staff were polite and helpful. I like a good smoothie and this Jamba Juice made me a good one I have never tried, the Cookies 'n Cream smoothie with fresh strawberries. It comes with bananas but the young lady recommended the strawberries so I went for it and I was sure glad I did. It was very good and the cookie flavor came through very well with a good strawberry after taste. The smoothie was thick but very easy to slurp up with a straw. The smoothie also had bit of cookies which were tasty. I went for a regular size which was more than enough because it kept be full for a bit. The employees were very cool and a chatty crew in a good way of course. On thirsty Thursdays you can get a large for the price of a medium for the rest of the 2016 year. read more

I came into this store with three of my cousins to grab a much needed smoothie. Two of us had just finished getting some of our wisdom teeth taken out and to say we were hungry is an understatement. We were on our way back to Los Angeles and decided to stop by here because it's close off the 805 freeway. We all walked in with our face masks and started checking the menu before ordering. That's when service just became oddly hostile. Without greeting us, the female associate let us know very firmly that only three people are allowed in the store at a time. We told her we were together, but before we could finish, she cut us off and restated her stance on the three person rule. One of my cousins started walking out to avoid the obvious awkwardness that was quickly setting in by the associates attitude. Even after three of us remained in the store, she kept repeating, "thank you," over and over. It was like watching Mean Girls play out in real life. Her attitude was pushy, demanding and very unwarranted. She obviously had a bad day or has issues with her job, because it's very apparent she's more than willing to argue with customers who are there for one thing, and one thing only, a smoothie. I've been coming to this Jamba Juice for years! An employee by the name of Ndjon (I forgot the spelling of his name) was amazing and started greeting me by name after my 3rd visit! Gina is another employee who always makes sure customers are taken care of- she's attentive, hardworking and patient! The Manager is friendly also. It's great to support a business/ location with friendly staff. I went again yesterday and of course Gina greeted my daughter and I, stopped what she was doing to take our orders, although there was another employee at the register, but she was busy catching up with friends... And then looking at her cell phone before acknowledging us. I ordered the Orange Dream Machine, which is one of my usuals. Another favorite smoothies include the Matcha Green Tea Blast (you can try it with peanut butter for an additional cost). To start must say the business is clean, however the staff are dressed so dingy and poorly. No one handling food wore gloves or caps, their hair was as if they just rolled out of bed. Just moved into this area since I workout nearby it's my go to spot for a refreshing smoothie, friendly staff and great atmosphere it's always super clean and the AC makes the small wait enjoyable. All staff are great one of my Favorite staff members is GINA she's a bundle of great energy and provides fun friendly service I enjoy anytime she's here. There's a couple others I enjoy as well but don't know names (sorry) I see the manager here always helping and has a great relationship with her staff. 5 stars. This Jamba Juice is probably the BEST Jamba Juice I've been to, besides Escondido and I was probably expecting a mediocre experience and was absolutely blown away. I called on my way to get a yogurt bowl and not only was it cheaper (than in north county), when I arrived, it was ready in a bag, I was greeted, paid and was sent with a spoon and napkin and walked to the door upon leaving. As things are opening back up I understand when businesses don't bring back reusable cups, but I don't understand why they can't pour it without touching it .... And then they tell me that generally if you buy THEIR jamba cup is only when they would use it as a refillable cup (not during COVID times). So you'd refill that reusable cup but not any?? Why do you sell the cups if not to be more eco-conscious ?! I honestly could care less about a discount, I wouldn't mind paying for the drink full price and using my own cup. I'm giving one star because of the poor customer service. I frequent this Jamba Juice quite often and every time I go there's an Asian young man at the register who just seems like he doesn't want to work there. He does not greet you when you enter and has a horrible attitude. I asked if he could make my smoothie extra thick and he said he couldn't do it...I told him I always get it that way then he said ok and when the young woman handed me my smoothie it was basically like a juice. I told her I requested it thick and she stated he did not write it on the ticket and would remake it. I told her that his attitude was poor every time I came and requested his name as well as a business card for the manager. She told me that for security purposes they could not give out names and I asked how was that so when she clearly had a name tag on. She then tried to cover it. I was not feeling well and decided I didn't want solid food so while getting my son food in the same shopping center I pulled up the Jamba Juice website and placed a web order. I love how I was able to customize my drink, forget the soy milk and replace with juice! My confirmation said my drink would be ready in 8 minutes. Drove over, went inside after about 3 minutes. A young man asked if he could help when I walked in and I told him I'd placed an online order. He went to the fridge and grabbed my drink. I was out in less than a minute. My drink was great.
