All the 5 star reviews are true! Dr. Angela is amazing and delightful! After hurting my back at the gym, I called Shaker Women's Health and Dr. Angela answered the phone. She booked my appointment for the next day. Dr. Angela greeted me when I walked in early. Her smile is as gorgeous and ready as everyone says. She's incredibly nice. She took me right away even though I was pretty early. She listened to me carefully and really paid attention to my concerns. Then she gave me a treatment that WORKED! I'm soooooo much better today! I have had a great experience with Dr. Angela at Shaker Women's Wellness. I came to her with some abdominal and lower back pain that lingered long after an extensive series of successive surgeries. She was able to help give me some significant, acute relief and has worked with me on more long-term solutions, including a wonderful recommendation for a physical therapist. She is warm, engaged, and keen to help. Excellent place! I've been going to Dr. Angela for some years now, and she is an excellent doctor! She has a very warm and sweet personality. She is a very gentle chiropractor. I have been to other chiropractors before, but she is by far the best. I highly recommend her work. She cares about her patients,-and takes time to explain things to you and make sure you have a plan that works. She is good about getting you in fast. The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting, and calm. She even has soft relaxing music playing in the background. I have seen her practice expand, and she has added some great services such as 2 message therapist, and now a dietician/ nutritionist. Her office has recently been updated and it looks great. She even sales healthy products. I finally, got my husband to go see her. He found her services were great! Some cycling related neck pain and stiffness brought me into Dr Angela's office at the recommendation of my wife who was already a long time fan of her work. After some adjustments and coaching on stretches and exercises I should be doing, the pain and stiffness is gone and I haven't had a similar problem in well over a year. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Angela. I saw her throughout my pregnancy for hip/back pain and now continue to see her post partum. She is ALWAYS on time, listens to concerns,super kind, and has fantastic suggestions. Note: I'm writing this review without ever having seen the chiropractor, so this is solely based on my experience trying to make an appointment. I have called the office several times (with no answer), left a voicemail, texted the provided number, and left a message on their website and never heard back from anyone. I even stopped by during business hours to see if I could talk to someone about scheduling but nobody answered when I knocked. It's possible they're just having an off week because other reviewers mentioned they called and were seen same day. I'm disappointed because all the reviews of the care itself were so positive! read more

I went to Dr. Angela for my newborn baby who had colic/reflux. Though she was very nice, the office visits were not as pleasant as her. First, it was hard to get an appointment because she never answered the phone when I called, but would call me back when I was busy and couldn't answer the phone, so it was very hard to get an appointment. We had 3-4 appointments with her total and each time we got there, there was no one ever there to greet us. Dr. Angela did all the billing, answering of phones, and she would be juggling multiple patients at one time. I needed to use the bathroom once and there wasn't one in sight and no one to ask. Another time I needed to nurse my baby, but there was no quiet, private place to do that and no one to ask. She was often late and then she would put me in a room and tell me to take off my son's jacket and she would be "right back". I could hear her treating another person in a different room while I waited with my crying baby. It was very stressful. She also once told me to try to stop eating cruciferous vegetables, and named spinach as one, but spinach is NOT a cruciferous vegetable. My baby did not get any better by going to her or by taking any of her supplement/food advice. I think she is a lovely person and trying hard, but she did not help me. read more

I have been to many chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Angela is one of two I would return to for treatment. She is hands-on, an astute diagnostician, adjusted me so I was relieved of my pain, and she sent me away with instructions on self-care. Excellent. I'm fortunate to have her as my doctor. read more

I'd been having an issue with my sacrum being out which was causing a lot of general discomfort as well as nerve pain that was beginning to restrict many of my normal activities. Being a licensed massage therapist I had been doing everything I knew to correct and stabilize the issue without lasting success. Dr Angela was highly recommended by a co-worker. I made my back very angry one day at the gym and went straight to her office to get something scheduled. She was able to fit me in right away! She confirmed that I was way out of whack, relaxed and adjusted my back, then taped it for additional support. I scheduled a followup for a few days and in the mean time had some craniosacral work done. She adjusted my neck as well as my foot the next visit which were both contributing to my issue.
