Completely blown away!! With an un planned trip to visit a family member in the hospital. I looked up shops that were on my way. I chose based on ratings. When I got near the location, there was some pretty extensive construction going on. I nearly ended up at another shop. So glad that I didn't. The owner was just lovely. Decent rotating selection. Good personality and easy to deal with. Front or back of the store both have entrances which makes it convenient if the street parking is full you can pull around to the front side of the building and normally there's a lot of parking. Price is good. I bring my 4 year old in every couple weeks and she goes and picks flowers out. She loves going here. read more

Twice Shanoah at Shakopee Florist has gone the extra mile for me when I needed flowers for a funeral service in her part of the Twin Cities. She was patient and asked good questions about what I'd like, how much I'd like to spend, etc. One arrangement was for a dear aunt who loved cardinals. Shanoah was able to add a small cardinal to the arrangement, which the family loved and I really appreciated. I live out of state and both times I ordered from Shakopee Florist, Shanoah sent me a picture of the terrific floral creations she delivered for us. They were beautiful and arrived on time. I wanted to have flowers delivered to my friend in Chaska, MN and had no idea how to do this so, of course, I turned to Yelp. I was blown away by all the 5-star reviews and figured these needed to be the guys I went with! They were so easy to talk to and set up the order, so nice, and even emailed me a photo of the arrangement when they delivered it. Not only did they put together a beautiful arrangement (see picture) but they also didn't spoil the surprise when they tried to deliver and she wasn't home. They called and explained that they had a delivery she needed to sign for and asked when she'd be home, then they delivered and totally surprised her! It means the world that they took that extra step. Would highly recommend them! read more

I live in LA and wanted flowers delivered to my girlfriend, who was checking in to the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel for a wedding. I looked on Yelp and called the first florist that popped up (Stems and Vines). The lady who answered told me they were only open for two more hours, and they had already started putting things away for the night. I called the next florist on the list, Shakopee Florist, and was greeted by Shanoah. Shanoah said she was only open for one more hour, but would fulfill my order and personally deliver the arrangement to the hotel. She was really nice and extremely helpful. Thank you! read more

I wanted to send my Aunt flowers for her birthday. In the past I have not been successful ordering bouquets on line. I needed to order in the morning and Shakopee was not open yet. I took my chances and ordered a bouquet to be delivered same day. The flowers were delivered and they are BEAUTIFUL, exactly what I picked out. I ordered flowers from this florist this morning.. Wanting to get an arrangement to a family member who was admitted into the hospital last night. When placing my order on the phone, I picked out some arrangements from FTD's site that I liked.. When I mentioned the different arrangements I liked, the florist was able to look them up and design an arrangement from what I mentioned. I was told that the arrangement would be delivered within an hour and a half. When I found out 3 hours past the mentioned delivery time the flowers weren't in the hospital room. I called the florist and was told the flowers were delivered to the hospital, but maybe they did not make it to the room. The florist told me she would email me (my request vs. a phone call with the status as soon as she knew). The florist sent her driver (who was on his way home) to stop by the hospital and track the flowers down. The delivery person found the flowers sitting at the nurses station (maybe they didn't want to let the arrangement go). He then picked them up and delivered them directly to my family's hospital room. My mother in law called me as soon as the flowers were received and told me how beautiful the arrangement was. I gave this business 5 stars for their great overall customer service and putting together an arrangement that was personalized at a great price. It wasn't the florist or delivery person's fault for the flowers not making it to the room, so I didn't want to rate them lower for that. Fabulous customer service!! I will definitely use this florist again when I need to order more flowers for my family in Minnesota. read more

After having my initial contract with a different florist fall through 2 weeks prior to my wedding, I needed to find someone reputable and fast! My fiance' stopped by on his way after work one day to talk to Shanoah about some flower ideas and see if she was someone we would like working with for our wedding. She was down to earth, friendly and approachable, and she encouraged that we both stop by the following day to discuss options together. We did, and Shanoah spent over an hour with us, asking details about our venue, my dress, what kind of flowers we envisioned, and suggestions for staying on budget. She was attentive and a great listener, and she even allowed us in her back room to look at several types of flowers in her cooler. She took careful notes (including names!) of who would be receiving bouts and corsages, as well as any out of the ordinary flowers we discussed. I fully trusted her design skill, as there were many examples of her work in her new shop, and I also saw her put together a bouquet in just minutes for a walk-in customer while we were meeting with her. A family member picked up the flowers on the morning of the wedding. They were ready, on time, labeled, and had pins attached for the corsages and bouts. They were all exactly what we discussed, and my bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for one more beautiful. Even today, two days after the wedding, they look as fresh as they did on Saturday morning, as I put them in water with flower food when the wedding had finished. Shanoah was a pleasure to work with, has a knack for flower arranging and customer service, and the results were amazing. She has a great sense of humor and put me at ease when I was worried about finding someone dependable at such a late notice. She is a hard-worker and aims to please, yet is so down to earth, we felt we had been friends for a long time prior. We will be sharing her business cards with others and singing her praises for a long time to come! I know future bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions will come from her shop! read more

She doesn't just make flower arrangements - she creates beautiful designs by adding simple touches that make her arrangements unique. She asks questions that result in her ability to personalize her floral arrangements. For example, one arrangement was for a family who lost a loved one that loved duck hunting. Shanoah went out of her way to create a gorgeous 'outdoor' themed arrangement which included a mallard. That is one example of many. Shanoah listens to what you want and offers great suggestions. I was disappointed with the arrangement delivered to my recipient. I selected a Teleflora arrangement that was dense with color (all roses and dark greenery). I believe I marked No Substitutions, aware that delivery might be delayed as a result. I upgraded to the next price level because the pictured arrangement was SO perfect for the recipient. The arrangement delivered was pretty, but included white roses and pale hydrangea and was not particularly dense or colorful--nor worthy of the cost, in my opinion. In a large metropolis and not near a holiday known for floral tributes, I was unpleasantly surprised at how far off the pictured arrangement the final product was. I will likely be far more specific next time, regardless of how highly rated the florist, or will select a more common, less expensive arrangement to avoid disappointment. read more

I went here the day before my wedding to order a bouquet, and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. The bouquet turned out beautifully, and when I picked it up on Saturday after my hair appointment I decided to get some flowers for my hair. Absolutely amazing customer service! I ordered balloons and chocolates to be delivered to a friend for her anniversary. The chocolates were forgotten with the initial delivery. I called and Shanoah went above and beyond to rectify the issue. They reached out to my friend to make sure she would be home and left the chocolates with a note on the doorstep. I also received a phone call after the delivery to apologize about the mixup and notify me that it was taken care of. I had a coworker order flowers online from the Shakopee Florist. The order went throught fine and we printed the reciept. It was for a Special occasion as one of our Housekeepers was having a Birthday and her significant other wanted it to be a special day, he is leaving to go back to his hometown and will be gone for over a year. it is very sad. The day they were SUPPOSED to be delivered they never showed and nobody would answer the phone at the florist..imagine our frustration. About a week later I got in touch with Mary who informed me that she was selling the business and basically too bad I did not get my floewers, she is selling the place and talk to the new owners. After all we weren't charged. Nice! I wanited to talk to the NEW owner so theyy could offer to fix this before I wrote a review. Well Shantel? Was very nice and even offered to make it right for me by delivering flowers that Saturday. Guess what...they never were delivered. She did call on Monday, granted not Friday or Saturday, when I was not here and asked me to call her. I waited a few days and returned the call. She acted like she had tried so hard to get ahold of me that Saturday.. Wrong I was here AL:L DAY until 7 PM answering the phones...no call.and she went on and on about having to clean up messes form the previos owner. Then she did ask what she could do to make it right...Well heres my advice...NOTHING...DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO! AND YOU MAY STAY IN BUSINESS!
