Has indoor and outdoor seating along with a big covered venue for private events. They offer a variety of beer and wines. They have a good choice in food entrees and appetizers. I got the pretzel bites and deviled eggs. Both were phenomenal. The pretzel bites were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside served with beer cheese. The eggs were topped with pickled jalapeños. For my meal I tried the wings. They are baked then fried. They too were good! Staff was super kind and brought everything to our table. She also made sure our beers were full. Megan Doss was singing at this venue while we were there which made for a great evening!

We had…read morenever visited prior to their closure but were happy to begin seeing posts on Facebook that there was new ownership and a slightly different focus. After doing a bit of online research, we learned the former owners sold the property across the street to Incendiary Brewery, which ultimately opened their second location in 2022. This location has a long history dating back to the early 1970s, when it was the first winery in the state to grow and produce European grape varietals, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Westbend Winery made its mark in North Carolina as a pioneer in the wine industry that now includes over 130 wineries and continues to grow. The original Hauser House was built in 1850, renovated in 2016 and is where the current Westbend restaurant is located. Gone are the winery days, the focus is on the restaurant, bar and music venue space. Last weekend was the beginning of their soft opening, so we had to stop in. We arrived shortly after 4pm, we were happy to see there was a collection of cars in the parking lot area. We loved the look and feel of the property from a distance but were even more impressed with it as we began looking around. The building itself looks very cool and at least somewhat original. There is also a large covered outdoor space that could easily accommodate large groups of people. There were also several picnic tables arranged in the grass if you prefer. We decided to enter the restaurant area which is now called Graze Grill. We were immediately greeted by a young man who told us we could sit anywhere. We were looking for an outdoor space on the back deck that would allow us to sit in the shade while listening to the music. We were able to grab the last table and we were brought menus and our drink orders were taken. The menu itself was nice, it offered a selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, and desserts. From flatbread pizza and buffalo chicken wraps to cheeseburgers and loaded cheese fries. There are also kid-friendly food options as well. My wife chose the WB House Salad and added grilled chicken and I decided on a flatbread pizza which I was able to choose the various toppings. The music was also entertaining and the space was very relaxing and comfortable. We were checked on throughout our visit and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We also noticed their cool Westbend shirts, which my wife especially liked because they include "Lewisville, NC". The same young man offered to bring a shirt to the table for my wife to look at. She was happy with the texture and quality and decided she had to have one. He also told us they have additional swag ordered. We were really impressed with our first experience here and can't wait to come back as well as bring friends and family here when we have visitors. A great addition to the Lewisville area and Westbend absolutely compliments the other wineries and brewery in the area. We learned they are currently finalizing their operating hours and are currently open on Saturday's and Sunday's. However, they plan to be open from Thursday through Sundays. Their grand opening is scheduled for Labor Day weekend. Wishing the new owners all of the very best!

I have stopped in a few times now and always found what I was needing. Always has fresh local eggs at a fair price. Picked up some fried fruit and nuts along with some breakfast bread and my usual eggs. 4 Stars a solid little local market worth your support 01195

This country store has a little bit of everything you might be looking for from fresh produce, cheeses, meats, ice cream, preserves of various veggies, jams and much more. Alot to browse through. They have a variety of merchandise suitable for home, gifts and more. I took my time looking through what was in the fridge cases, had a home made ice cream from a local farm that produces the various ice creams, glanced through the vegetables, preserves, herbal remedies, plants etc. It is a small store but it has alot of items stocked inside. It reminded me of the old time stores where people were friendly and helpful and happy to explain about anything you might see without the high pressure sales pitch that no one wants to hear lol. I think you will enjoy browsing through this store and picking up some grocery items you needed or merchandise you didn't know you needed. Easy to get to and fun to explore.

I was under the weather so I simply wanted to call in my order, drive down a couple miles and grab it and come home quickly to return to my chair to remain comfortable. Absolutely delicious and since I wasn't feeling well, the fact they were prompt and efficient made me happy. I will definitely be back when I am in the area. Bottom line - Been here 1x but it did not disappoint. An easy five stars. Bon appétit, y'all.

Kids chicken tenders: 2 year old made a face. He loved the chips and ice cream. I tasted the chicken and it was tender and cooked well, just too much salt for a kid. Service was good. Looked like maybe high school kids. They were nice and attentive. Love the vibe. Customers should be careful when dumping things into the trash bc there was may and ketchup in the front of the trash cans. I think staff were about to clean it up. Otherwise it was clean, bathrooms clean, and decor was retro diner. Overall it was a good find. Easy in and off of 421. Better than fast food/ more options. I'd try the grilled chicken sandwich foe the kid and maybe a grilled cheese or a cheeseburger.

No need for a designated driver here, no one was driving! After parking in the designated spot, I walked in and was warmly welcomed. They have a massive selection of spirits here. Stuff they distill and brew themselves plus lots of guest drinks. I started off with a Rye Old Fashioned and watched the bartender assemble it in front of me with the twist of orange peel, the candied cherries and, per my request, half the usual simple syrup. I showed her my trick for taking pictures of drinks (Thanks, Julie!) and later enjoyed a vodka martini. The tasting room is comfortable with a collection of history showing how this place goes back to the Colonial days, their wifi works great (thankfully, as my cell coverage was zero) and my night's rest was excellent. This is a super space and I'm so glad to have experienced it. Oh, and I can't wait to gift these truffles to Mrs. K. when I get home! [Review 575 of 2026 - 4665 in North Carolina - 25756 overall]

It is a well maintained resource for everyone to use, but that is not extended to pets where signage does note that no pets allowed. The Deets: I had a chance to walk around and enjoy the Shallowford Square park with my mother on Mother's Day. It's a good resource in the middle of Lewisville, across the street from Lewisville Town Hall on Shallowford Road. It is available for outdoor events and it looks well maintained, clean, and neat. The general layout looking like an amphitheater where people can bring their lawn furniture and/or blankets, etc. to see movies and performances shown outdoors, music/concerts and other outdoor entertainment. There is a pavilion in the park and looks like it can be rented through the Town of Lewisville. Alcohol is generally prohibited within the park ("only allowed at events being held with prior written approval by the Town of Lewisville" per the website at this time). The Lewisville Veterans Memorial is within Shallowford Square also. A nice playground is located in the back of this park for kids to use. There are also great celebrations/events held here as well such as the Street Party & Food Truck Festival and also the Christmas Tree Lighting with Santa for example. I do note many signs/painted instructions saying there are no pets allowed in Shallowford Square and it's a bit disappointing. I realize that there are a good number of people out and about that do not clean up after their pets but I remain disappointed that pets that do have responsible owners cannot enjoy this nice open space, so that is my only star off for here. Overall, I find Shallowford Square a nice place to visit in the Town of Lewisville.
