Excellent pizza. Excellent ranch! I've been ordering both almost weekly. I'll get a pint of ranch and make salads with it all week. The mini personal pizza usually lasts 2-3 meals. The garlic knots are delicious! The chicken Parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo are to die for and the chicken piccata pasta is also excellent! One menu item I wasn't thrilled about was their lasagna. I don't typically order lasagna, but it's my mom's favorite. It was too meaty and I prefer sausage rather than hamburger meat in my lasagna. Everything else has been fantastic! Today just felt like a day for pasta, so I headed here. I ordered Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and added Meatballs. The food was on the table in no more than 10 minutes. These was a large amount of spaghetti, and plenty of a very flavorful meat sauce. There were four meatballs with a nice flavor, though they were on the smallish side. After vacationing and being on the road and eating junk for a couple weeks, I told my husband that I wanted something not fried. Preferably pasta. We looked online at a few Italian restaurant choices and looked at prices and decided to go with Antonio's because it was closest to us. It's been a while since we have eaten from this place and unfortunately I quickly remembered why upon getting our food home. It was hot and fresh, but it was lacking. There was so much meat in my meat sauce that I had to dig around to find the spaghetti. The noodles were also so salty it was hard to enjoy. It did come with bread that was pretty good, but nothing I'm dying for again. It was mid, in my opinion. It was different-which I wanted, but I won't be rushing back to have it again. read more

I give it 3 stars only because our waitress was nice. We just left after having a Mother's Day lunch, my husband and I both ordered the lasagna and it's was not good. The meat was white/grey , not seasoned and you could 100% tell my slice of lasagna was microwaved and probably from yesterday's orders. ( I took one bite of my ordered and didn't even try to stomach the rest) My daughter ordered the Philly cheese steak with hot chips. Hot chips were good but the meat in the cheesesteak ( ordered the steak option) looked like the same mystery meat from our lasagna. (The frozen lasagnas at Costco are 100% better than anything you will get here. ) The bread was warm and went well with the oil and seasonings. I've ordered takeout a couple times from Antonio's and have been very satisfied. Usually do a build my own pasta, don't skip the pink sauce it's the best I've ever had. When I arrive for pickup the staff is friendly and know my order the second I say my name. Pasta comes with their bread that is incredible and fresh. I've not tried the pizza but it looks great. We were going to our local pool and wanted to grab something to go in order to take it with us. We wanted something close to home and we haven't yet tried Antonio's. We had a paper menu at home and started to look it over. We decided to order the large Antonio's Stromboli which includes pepperoni, sausage, onions, green pepper, ham, bacon and mushrooms. We ordered it without the mushrooms. We also ordered one small tossed salad. The young lady who took our order over the phone was friendly and competent. She told us it would be ready in approximately 25 minutes. When we arrived they were not busy, probably because it was mid-afternoon. We approached the counter and told the two young ladies that we were picking up a to go order. They rang us up and brought our order out almost immediately. We noticed they have dessert items individually packaged for to go orders as well as frozen meals. Today we saw Lasagna, Mac and Cheese, Penne con Vodka, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala. This is an easy way to meal prep for the week when short on time. Our stromboli was packaged in a large pizza box and the salad was placed in a bag on top. It smelled delicious and we were anxious to dig in. After arriving at the pool and sitting at one of the picnic tables, we opened the box a few minutes later and realized the large stromboli is definitely LARGE. Wow, it was also stuffed with delicious ingredients. We each began eating on opposite ends of the stromboli and honestly couldn't eat it all. Luckily we were prepared and packaged the remainder up in a Ziploc bag and placed it on ice. I'm anxious to enjoy it later! My wife also enjoyed her side salad and for less than $5.00 it is a great option for those wanting a bit of veggies before a heavy meal. Overall, this was a great experience and we will be back. We also noticed they do deliver via DoorDash as well which would be a great way to have pizza or Italian delivered living in Lewisville. read more

What a great dining experience we had at Antonio's. On a rainy day, we walked in and the manager was deep cleaning outside. Clean, inviting friendly place for the whole family. This is my 9 yo favorite restaurant. It is a bit pricey, so it's not an everyday place for us but we do come here for special occasions with her. Love the kids free pasta night on Mondays! Nice and clean restaurant! Friendly staff! We went mid day around 4:30 and there were only a few people there. I'd say very generous portions and not too pricy for what we got, certainly cheaper than a downtown Italian place! Mozzarella sticks- very good, honestly tasted like the ones you can buy in the freezer section though Shrimp scampi- meh, not bad, but no wow factor. Tasted more like butter, garlic, and boiled shrimp. Wouldn't order again. Pesto chicken pasta- loved all the ingredients of the dish: tomatoes, mushrooms, creamy pesto! Pretty good a little disappointed with the chicken. Pesto is such a strong rich flavor I think I'd prefer a pesto grilled chicken on top of a lighter sauce. Both served with warm bread and butter packets. I would have preferred olive oil dip, but hubby liked the butter. Loved dipping the bread in the pesto. I'd say we were slightly disappointed but we'd come back, maybe try the calzones or lasagna. read more

This was our first experience here since arriving in-town. My son ordered the shrimp scampi and I ordered the chicken picatta. Just as we'd read prior to our visit, the sauces were delicious. In addition, I have to rave about the service we received. The friendly host welcomed us and sat us at a booth upon entering the restaurant. Our darling waitress took our drink orders immediately. We then received fresh bread within minutes. The whole night, we never once had to ask for refills on drinks or even bread. They were always on top of it, and bringing us refills when they saw we were getting low. Impressive. What service! Also, right before our dinner came out, Barry, the manager, came out to meet and welcome us to the restaurant and area. He even sent out dessert to us after our meal on the house. My wife and I eat there often, but this evening we had an experience tonight that made us leave. After being set at our table, other folks were set after us and nobody ever came over to our table. My friend and I were talking about getting a Pizza, and we hadn't been here. We'll, when I saw they had Manicotti on the menu, pizza went out the window. I love Manicotti and it's hard to find. I was pleased about this. The location is a small strip mall across the Lowe's Grocery Store parking lot. Inside is a quaint atmosphere. The server was pleasant. I was a little shocked they gave us 2 burned garlic Knots, and a 3rd that seemed to be on it's way. The portions sizes generous. New York style crust .. however they have this gluten free chocolate cake amazing actually but it went from a generous slice to a slice to a quarter of a slice in a year and its two bites and it's 750 that's bogus and not cool.. and when I tried to address this with the on shift management they got screechy and weird and then hung up on me after they offered to refund my whole ticket if I never came back ever again which I declined. Their Pizza is done right and the combination of the dough, sauce and cheese was a perfect blend only enhanced by the spices that they used being from New Jersey, I have a love of pizza, after all, in many ways, pizza is one of the big unofficial dishes of New Jersey. Eating here also invoke memories of my grandparents. Every Saturday, without fail, we would go get pizza at this little pizzeria that was little more than a shack up the road from their house. Food is like that. It should invoke memories, it should sustain your soul as well as your body. Antonio's Italian restaurant for a moment brought me back to my grandparents kitchen and a simpler time. I miss my grandparents, but for a moment, I was back with them. This is a restaurant that takes pride in what they do and there is an obvious passion in their cooking. We had a great little date night at Antonio's tonight! When you walk in it just looks like a pizzeria but the host stand is just off to the side where we were greeted by a friendly hostess who offered us a table or booth. After we sat at our booth we were greeted immediately by our server Rizik who took our drink order and went over some menu items with us (we were first timers) I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was 1/2 off glasses of wine (Thursday). We placed an order for calamari and my husband got shrimp scampi, I ordered penne vodka w shrimp and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The calamari came out quickly and was crispy and the marinara sauce was good. It took a little bit for our entrees to arrive but to be fair it started to get busy shortly after we sat. The whole staff was pretty involved and on the floor from the hostess helping to bus tables to management checking in on us and grabbing refills. They were all friendly and seemed like they were happy to help out. Our entrees arrived and neither of us were dissatisfied. I really loved my penne vodka sauce and even asked for a box for the small portion I had left. The lady in pink who I believe is a manager checked on us a few times and several staff members said bye to us on our way out including her in the parking lot. Here I am reviewing a few months later. We have tried this restaurant again 3 times in the past 2 months. When we ate inside the restaurant the service and food was great. The 2 times we called the food the whole experience was awful. The first time I called the food in I got a young gentleman on the phone. I specifically ordered a sub and I knew that hot chips were extra money due to only the lunch special coming with hot chips and we were eating this for dinner. That being said I specifically asked the gentleman on the phone for hot chips. He said "it comes with hot chips" okay I thought they may had changed the menu. To my disappointment after waiting 30+ minutes for food that I was told would take 15-20. What do you know? A bag of yellow lays potato chips come out. I politely ask the young man I'm sorry I requested hot chips may I please purchase a side. To which he tries to charge me $10. When on the menu it says "add hot chips to your sub for $4.00 and some change" I ask him why am I being charged $10". He gets really confused and gets his manager who is so sweet and really does try her best I believe. I end up getting a free order of hot chips. Which I had offered to pay for multiple times. We call an order in again today. We get the same young gentleman on the phone. I knew it was all down here from here. We ask for a to go order of lasagna and an Italian sub with hot chips (we specifically confirm that he got the hot chips on the order) which he says yes. To which the young gentleman says it's going to be $30. So we ask again on the phone "just to confirm this is the lunch special correct" and he responds "yes", again I knew this was incorrect because we literally ate in the restaurant 2 weeks ago exactly and our meal was roughly $24. He says it's going to be 15 minutes. No big deal we run an errand at the grocery store and then go pick up our food. I will attach a picture of the updated lunch menu below. My lasagna should have been $12 for the lunch. What would you guess, the receipt says $16, no big deal. We pay for our order. Eventually after over 30 minutes of calling our food in we are still waiting. We are getting a little frustrated. After about 35 minutes after calling in our order and asking the female manager how much longer they bring out the food. Just to get home and what do you know the sub we ordered that states on the lunch menu below that it comes with hot chips does not have hot chips and just a bag of the old faithful yellow lays potato chips. The lasagna I ordered is so dry I can hardly eat it and the sub had a hair in it. I hated to write this review because I'm all for small businesses. But at what point to you need to go back and train your front of house staff. We will not be back here. read more

Good concept but the food was pretty bad. The calamari was fishy, more sauce than noodles, and the dessert was freezer burned.

This is my first review but actually my 3rd time here since the new owners took over. I did not write after the 1st time because the service was under par but they were fairly new and working out the kinks. Service is a lot better now, I would just add 10 minutes to whatever time they quote you on pick up orders. The food so far has been great. I have gotten their pizza which are decent size slices with a good sauce and mozzarella. The calzone is huge and fulfilling. This time a did a "Build Your Own" pasta dish and went with Linguini in Pink Sauce with meatballs. I also got a side of their fire shrimp appetizer and threw some in with my pasta. The sauce was delicious, I just wish I had some bread to scoop that up with. The meatballs could have been a bit bigger but the flavor was like an old Italian lady's secret recipe. I have been trying out different dishes and have been satisfied with all so far. Dine in is a great option as the restaurant is clean and pretty. read more
